Looking for a peaceful getaway? A relaxing environment that is cozy for two, but with enough space to call home? That is our little Florida paradise; Casita Wilson. A little cottage house located directly behind our home with it's own private entrance.

This 800 sq. ft cottage sits on our one acre lake front property. It is meticulously kept and is fully furnished. All you need is your personal belongings. It has a full kitchen with a dining area. Living area has a comfortable couch with a 40 inch flat screen tv including cable. The bedroom has two closets consisting of a walk in closet and a full size additional closet, dresser, queen size bed with a lake view. Bathroom has a walk in shower. Private washer and dryer. Enough parking for two cars. You have to walk approximately the length of 4 cars from parking to entrance of cottage. Wi fi included.

We are located in the heart of Brandon close to I-75 and I-4.

We have a very peaceful setting here. Wake up to wild birds and an amazing quiet view while sitting on the screened back lanai enjoying your breakfast.. 30x15 pool too. Grill access.

Guest have access to pool.

Our cottage is a wonderful place for someone on business that would like to have the comfort and space of a home vs. a hotel. Or a seasonal monthly rental for someone that would like to be in Florida away from the snow. Snowbirds LOVE our weather and our peaceful environment. If you love Mountain Biking we do too. We can guide you with your biking needs as we love to bike.

Just like home (better view)

This was a great property to spend a couple weeks at. It was close to my work and to stores and other places. The hosts were fantastic - there whenever you needed them and respectful of privacy. Very nice people!

Just What We Wanted

The cabin was just what we wanted for our stay...comfortable, clean and in a very nice location. We very much enjoyed the lake and all the scenery...and Dave and Carmen were wonderful hosts. We would happily stay here again!!

Beautiful property

This was really a great place to stay. There was plenty of yard space to sit out and enjoy the Florida weather and watch the birds. And there was a nice pool even though we didn't use it. The house had everything we needed and was actually pretty spacious as instead of a studio it had a seperate bedroom. Really nice when my husband stays up to watch TV and I want to go to bed. And Carmen and Dave are really delightful people. Could not have been better.

Meticulously Clean, Generous Host, and Best View Ever!

We stayed here while visiting family in Brandon and Tampa. It was easy to hop on I-75 and I -4 to visit them. This little peaceful place has an incredible view of the lake loaded with wild life. I think we counted over 15 kinds in one day. White pelicans, sandhill cranes, cardinals, storks, ospreys to name a few. The host is very accommodating and she had coffee, cream and waters waiting for us. Their is a full washer and dryer too. She told us about a free gym for senior citizens in the area so we took advantage of that. The bed was comfy and she had several comforters to choose from. The kitchen was loaded making it easy for us to cook a couple of nights. Thank you Carmen and Dave we really appreciated your help with your directions. Hope to see you again.

Quiet little cottage with a peaceful view

Carmen is a fabulous host, who ensured our stay was stress free. Her communication is quick, and nothing was a problem. The cottage is gorgeous, so very quiet looking out on to a beautiful lake and her pool. We enjoyed watching the bird life, especially the cardinals feeding at the bird feeder. We had the pool all to ourselves and it was just peaceful. We watched a couple of otters or beavers swimming in the lake while swimming. The cottage is well stocked and she had coffee, sugar, stevia, shampoo, conditioner and even water for us. There is a Publix supermarket about 2 minutes away, with everything you need. Lots of restaurants close by and we were close to Tampa General Hospital visiting family. The wifi works well, and there are plenty of options on the TV, we were appreciated the cable. We would happily stay again, and highly recommend Carmen and Dave's cottage.

beautiful property

We enjoyed our stay at this piece of property. The cottage was very bright and clean. The view from the lanai over looking the pool and the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed watching the Sandhill Cranes and their little chick grow. The cottage was well maintained. David and Carmen were very sweet making sure we had every thing we needed. There was plenty to see in Brandon and the Tampa area. Area is central to many places to visit in Florida. We would recommend this property to any professional or retired couple.

We are dragging our feet returning home from our Great Escape to Brandon, Florida. We loved that our holiday home was so peaceful, yet close to shopping, golf courses, attractions, restaurants and not that far from the Gulf Beaches. Enjoyed the Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo, Tarpon Springs wildlife boat tour, but most of all Zoominations at Lowry, spectacular. We explored a lot during our stay, but always enjoyed a swim in the pool late afternoon, while watching the Sandhill cranes and their babies grow. Our hosts were so kind to us! They recommended things to see, restaurants to try, tried to rescue us when they thought we were caught walking in a rainstorm, and yummy homemade cookies delivered near bedtime... I can't wait to return to Brandon and recommend it highly, but please don't book the casita when I want to go!!!!

My husband and I have owned our home for over 19 years. David works for Coca Cola (30 years) and we own the local fabric shop; Gigi's Fabric Shop. We have 3 children, 3 grandchildren and the newest member of our family Archie the golden doodle.

We love our home because it a piece of heaven in the middle of Brandon. 5 min. From just about anything you want to do. We love the outdoors so we can easily hop on the expressways to all the parks and beaches.

We are meticulous about our property and we take great pride in keeping it clean and selecting our guest. It's is important to us to have peace and tranquillity in our little haven. We also enjoy helping our guest with their local travels and making their experience a memorable one. We often welcome our guest with special details such as wine, chocolate and toiletries.
