We love this mid century home from the 1950's formerly known as Canty's Cottage. Vintage, yet freshly painted and redecorated.
Cantaloupe Cottage is a classic Mid Century Modern island home built in the 1950’s and completely restored with Central AC and all modern updates, this ground level, pet-friendly home features a large fully fenced back and side yards with views of the Back River and 1.5 blocks to Alley 3- the local Kayak launch area.
3 bedrooms and 1.25 bathrooms (one full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and one shower-only room), plus a Florida room and an amazing kitchen, this home is a little charmer!

Just ok

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is clean inside but really needs some work. Windows are dirty, outside appeal is awful, the walls are white but it needs painting as the walls look dirty. The island itself was very nice. Quiet and not much traffic at all so great for biking or walking.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our three night stay at the Cantaloupe Cottage was seamless- excellent management company and easy check in/out. Very happy with the property, the beds, the location. The only thing was the shower/tub drained VERY slowly. Other than this, it was fantastic!

Very nice. Would like an outlet in bathroom or better access to mirror and outlet in bedrooms. Also maybe another tv in another one of the bedrooms. Would also like a broom and dustpan to sweep up the leaves tracked in. Liked the fenced yard for dogs

Sandpiper stay

House was two blocks from the beach and four blocks from shops, and clean (except for the coffee pot). Manager was responsive and friendly, as always. A little trouble getting into the home as the screen door was latched from the inside. The area was quiet and safe.
