We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful cottage by the sea. It was the perfect location to relax and recharge. We loved the character; perfect for St. Augustine. We hope to visit again!
The Sandpiper cottage was wonderful. It contained all that we needed, was tastefully decorated, and was a very short walk to a beautiful beach. It was also in a great location for sightseeing, visiting farmer’s markets, and excellent restaurants. And we experienced sunshine every day of our stay! A great place to stay!
This was our 2nd stay in this beach house. We definitely hope to go back again! The house itself is a gem - beautifully kept and homey. The neighborhood is quiet, quiet, quiet and only 3 block from Coneheads ice cream. And the proximity to the beach is unbeatable,
Soooooo, we didn’t want to leave!!!! The perfect beach cottage. So cozy and quaint. Beautiful beach just steps away. Within walking distance to so much. We will definitely return!
Cute vintage cottage just steps from the beach. Photos and description were accurate. The pillows and mattresses are not the most comfortable, and the shower head needs an upgrade, but these were only minor things compared to the overall feel and location of the cottage. Enjoyed our stay and would return :)
Cute cottage in a great location. Steps to the beach, walking distance to restaurants, shops and the pier. Well stocked with most everything needed for cooking, laundry, etc. It could use a good cleaning/ dusting and the sofas and chairs in the living room are old and worn-out.

Thank you so much for your helpful feedback, Gary! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! We will send the cleaners in for a deep clean this week and look into updating the living room furniture for future bookings.
We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!
This house is sweet. The location was perfect and the furnishings and amenities made it comfortable. It had everything we needed. If I had one suggestion it would be to be able to open a few windows to hear the ocean. That said, the heat and AC kept it very comfortable for the 5 days in December we were there. I would definitely stay here again, it's special.
Great experience, it was exactly what we were hoping it would be. Always double check the front door lock before leaving. Keypad was not as responsive as it was supposed to be.
This little house has a lot of potential but needs some TLC. The location is great and super quiet. The reservations, check in and check out were a breeze. It’s less than 10 minutes from downtown St. Augustine (unless the drawbridge is up). The house needs a good cleaning and there was a really strong chemical/air freshener smell when we arrived and lasted for a couple of days. The beds were not comfortable and squeaky. The bathroom sink did not drain and the bathroom needs some attention. If these things are addressed, it would be a great place to stay.
Stayed for a week with our kids and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Cozy cabin with comfortable furnishings and perfect location. My only complaint is it was poorly stocked. There was no extra toilet paper, no trash bags, only 1 packet of dishwasher detergent and 1 packet of laundry soap. We had to run out and buy basically all the necessities for the house. I would have expected these small, simple household things would have been provided and that we would not have been nickeled and dimed in this way. Other than that, great place!

Thank you for renting with us, Michelle!
We do send out multiple emails to you prior to arrival to notify you of the "Starter Kit" of supplies that we provide, to get you through the first few days of your stay, until you're able to grocery shop. This kit includes 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 5 trash bag, single use dishwasher and laundry detergent, small dish soap, and small shampoo, conditioner and hand soaps in each bathroom. If that email got filtered to your spam or lost in the mix, we apologize!
We hope that you had a wonderful vacation regardless and hope to see you back!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Wouldn’t recommend
Pros: Very short walk to the beach.
Cons: You can’t see the beach or the ocean from this property which was very disappointing. The house is old and it shows. The mattresses are old squeaky and creaky, not comfortable. The bathroom is gross. The sink does not drain. The shower head is 5 ft high so if you are taller than 5 ft you have to crouch and squat. The shower rod is all rusted out and looks like it is going to break off any second. The ceiling is peeling and there is something green and black growing on the ceiling. Mold? Mildew? No idea but it’s not good. This place has seen better days and needs some serious TLC. The kitchen is rough.
Great stay, thanks! We really loved the paint color in the powder room and master bedroom. Can you share that mfg and color?thanks,Mike Duffy215-518-8129mjduffy@comcast.net
Loved the location of this cottage, it’s right on the beach, walking distance to restaurants, ice cream shop, coffee shop and mini golf. The cottage is quaint, comfortable and well stocked. Communication with management company was excellent. The only con is parking, you get two spots but they are very tight if you have a larger vehicle, we have a full sized pickup and luckily the unit next to us was vacant so we were able to comfortably park. We had an amazing stay and would definitely stay there again.
We loved everything about this place! It was exactly what a beach house should be. It was comfortable, beautifully decorated and right on the ocean! We will be back!
