Villa 'VORAMAR' is located on beautiful La Mata Beach - 40 minutes drive south of Alicante airport.

Located Beach Front with a magnificent private pool. Wake up to see the sun rising over the Mediterranean from your bedroom windows, literally 30 seconds walk to the waters edge of beautiful La Mata beach, and minutes from local restaurants and beach huts. Make the most of free Wi-Fi Internet throughout.
Air con for summer and underfloor heating for cooler months .

The villa is set in an exclusive gated urbanisation of only 8 houses with 2 x allocated parking spaces there is no need to battle for beach parking. Alternatively just ask and we can arrange airport Transfers for you.
La Mata town centre is a pleasant 10 minutes walk along the beach boardwalk for shopping, local Spanish restaurants, supermarket, banks, & street markets.
The local town of Torrevieja has bowling, go-carting, cinema, restaurants and the Habaneras shopping centre. Also there is a night market down by the marina, water-park and fun-fair. La Mata beach has Pedaloes for hire on the beach in summer.

Boasting 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, plus an outdoor hot/cold shower, a pool shower and an additional toilet. With extensive outdoor space over-looking the beautiful private pool and panoramic views of La Mata Beach and the Mediterranean Sea, Voramar is perfectly situated.
With air conditioning through-out. The villa has everything you need including a luxury ice making fridge/freezer, (additional large fridge /freezer in the bar) 2 big screen TV's, multiple air-con units, Gas BBQ, choice of outdoor eating areas, and a large indoor dining table that comfortably seats 12.

Only minutes walk to all local amenities - shops, bars, supermarkets with a good selection of beach front restaurants, or beach bars for those requiring the more casual refreshments! You can sit and enjoy a cold drink / tapas with your feet in the sand! or try one of the many restaurants on the boardwalk.
If you can drag yourself away from the Private Pool there is also a very enjoyable Aqua Park a short drive away, or catch the local bus to the 'traditional Spanish Town' of Torrevieja. (15 minutes away)
For a day trip Historic cities such as Cartagena, Murcia , Guadalest and Albacete are within 30-60min drive.

Great location, right on the beach. The pictures of the house are mostly accurate, just a little bit of wear and tear as is expected from a house this close to the beach.Lots of space for 10 of us ranging from 7 to 70, beach chairs and pool loungers for everyone. Communication with owner and reprensentative was excellent from the start with lots of info on the area.We had a great time and will highly recommend Villa Voramar.

Excellent family holiday. The villa facilities and location were perfect for our family of 5 adults and 3 children. We had everything we needed in the villa and the beachfront location and close proximity to lots of beach bars and restaurants was fantastic. Matt was an exceptional host, from the moment of enquiring, then booking through to some very last minute changes by us, he was always very helpful, informative and quick to respond to our emails. Could not fault location or accommodation, all the 11of us throughly enjoyed the stay,perfect fir beach ,bars and restaurants also supermarket a short ten minute walk away ,the only fly in the ointment was on returm i was charged am extra £85 for electric and a repair bill of£167 for the outside shower head which had been broken and poorly repaired by previous occupants

This villa is even better than described. It iseems very spacious and the kitchen is so well equipped. It is the perfect villa to share with friends. The location is great, right on the beach with 3 great restaurants and fab cocktail bar just a minute walk away. The beach was very busy during the day yet it felt very private and peaceful while sitting out by the pool. If you are looking for a holiday of rest and relaxation this is your place. We will be back.

Some small things : The entrance area and the front door need paint. Some walls also needed some paint.. We were missing a table at the terrasse of master bed room. Trash cans in all bathrooms. Pretty and identical plastic cups at the kitchen( not 10 different cups..)

Amazing!!

We stayed for a week and loved everything about this villa! It’s perfect for a large group and has everything you need! The place was spotless and the villa is beautiful! The rooms are all clean and well sized and all the bathrooms work well and we never had any issues with water pressure or temperature even when more than one shower was being used. I highly recommend this villa and we are definitely looking at booking it again. Matt was fantastic and the communication throughout was brilliant and he supplied so much information for us about the area and places to go, and when you get to the villa there is even more information for you! An amazing week in an amazing villa! Thank you!

Fantastic location -Stunning villa

Just back from La Mata after a fantastic winter break staying at Villa Voramar. It's better than we expected, so big ... and beautifully furnished. Loved the kitchen, sparkling bathrooms , comfortable beds, all spotlessly clean. And underfloor heating! Ideal for the cooler evenings. Great outside space - very impressed lots of seating to choose from, and breathtaking views of the beach/sea. Hopefully we can get back in summer to use the pool... We all liked the area - we really didn't need a car with plenty of restaurants etc to choose from close by or along the great boardwalk winding its way parallel to the beach to La Mata town just 10-15 minutes walk. Definitely highly recommended.

Holiday within a holiday

A group of 10 stayed for a relaxing week mid holiday. The pictures do not lie. It is right across the road from the beach. The house is fully kitted out in the kitchen, bar, lounge, bbq area. It suited us perfectly as a place hang out, bbq and people watch on the beach. We could wander down for a coffee, or a mojito in the afternoon. Keeping the doors opened created a great breeze- even in the hottest week on record. Supermarket is about a 10 minute walk away, or you can get it home delivered. Nothing but good things to say about this villa

Lovely Spacious House in great location

There were 8 adults, 1 child and 2 babies and there was plenty of room to socialise. in the lower ground floor was a triple room and a single room with communal area and a bathroom. On the first floor were 4 double rooms with 2 bathrooms. plus another loo in ground floor and 2 outdoor showers for finding sand and sun lotion off. 3 outdoor dining areas (1 with BBQ which is where we had breakfasts)1 indoor dining area and plenty of lounge space and a bar area. Also extremely well equipped kitchen. There was a trolley on wheels to use for shopping at the supermarket which was useful. Sandy beach, restaurants and bars were no distance at all. We had a great time

Amazing, just amazing

Right from the start the process was brilliant. Ryanair changed departure time so lost a day and delays at the airport over 2 hours but Uwe was there for us when we landed. The villa exceeded expectations and was perfect location for everything. The pool was a massive hit and the beach on yoir doorstep. Couple of things that will help those visiting... 1. The supermarket is a walk of 10 to 15 mins (Dialprix) or taxi if want slightly larger one. However, both have an app and deliver straight to the door no issues. We used this service and was brilliant. 2. Out the front there is a cupboard full of inflatables, balls, snorkel etc. We added to this as well. 3. There is a Churros and waffle van of an evening til late and is amazing. Walk to the right and the end of the walkway up the small hill and he is there. 4. There are lots of electeic scooters around. Download the app and locate to use. 5. Read the welcome book its very useful. Other than that we will be booking to come back 100%.

Very Late Summer / Early Autumn break

Finally, we were able to take a family holiday outside of School Hols. The children are grown up and some have boyfriend's (they came to) What a great villa. There were 7 of us. There was so much room, we spent a lot of time together and yet never felt like we were on top of each other. The only thing that lets the place down is "there's not enough places to sit" Joking or course. 12 dining chairs, bar stools, seating and table near the bar, 4 double/triple sofa's around the tv area and plenty of sun loungers on the terrace and pool side. The villa has a great vista overlooking the beach and out into the Med. We decided not to rent a car. The nearest supermarket is a short walk away approx 1km and it's uphill. However that makes it easier to get the shopping back...it's all downhill Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Check out the welcome pack for best reviews. Can recommend both the Indian and Chinese restaurants btw. Great communication from the owners before we departed and we used the transfer company that they recommended (also the key holder) cannot praise them enough. We tend never to go the same place twice, but I would heartily recommend this villa and it's owners. You won't regret it

The house is as advertised with an amazing location right on the beach, however the area was alot busier than we expected for early June and it was also unusually hot.. Good communication with owners and great support from Uwe. Pool superb. For those needing an easier walk to the shops, La Mata is good. Nice walk along the beachline and you will find two supermarkets, pharmacie and restaurants plus the market on Wed am. Much easier than climbing the hill to Dialprix etc. Favourite restaurant was Vela Beach 2 mins away. Only dissappointment was the BBQ which was in an enclosed patio off the dining area rather than on the terrace over looking the sea. The patio had no breeze so got very hot, we didnt use that area at all. Beware, there are biting insects the master bedroom has no mosquito screen so with terrace doors open over night my sister got bitten to pieces. Rather than have the air conditioning on all night she moved to another bedroom with a screen. We didnt need the downstairs so didnt go down there, too late we found that the downstairs rooms were much cooler. The outside furniture beside the bar would have been nice out on the terrace for a comfy evening drink too.

Rundum perfekt

Wir waren mit insgesamt 9 Personen in dem wunderbar gelegenen Haus am Strand von La Mata. Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit und die Bilder entsprachen genau der Realität. Traumhafte Aussicht, ein Sandstrand direkt vor der Tür, ein sauberes und gepflegtes Haus und genügend Platz für uns alle. Zudem wurden wir von Matt und Beth super auf unseren Urlaub vorbereitet und auch dementsprechend empfangen. Alles war sehr professionell und wir hatten zu jeder Zeit einen Ansprechpartner. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants waren in der unmittelbaren Umgebung oder wenige Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Danke für diese schöne Zeit! Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zu euch zurück.

Originally buying in the area in 2000 , we love La Mata Beach and the surrounding area. It's a beautiful beach, with great facilities - it has a great Spanish feel to it. And has developed over the years to provide great restaurants and the beach kiosks are fantastic. Having walked past Villa Voramar for years we were delighted to find it for sale in 2015 and we knew instantly it was a spectacular location. Having managed to sell our villa straight away we were in the right place at the right time and bought Villa Voramar. The previous family had owned the property since building.
We have spent the last year refurbishing it... and it's absolutely beautiful.

We have our Villa manager living locally who can arrange for airport pick-up as an alternative to hiring a car or will meet you on arrival at the Villa if you wish to make your own travel arrangements.
