For 6 people. Dream location and stunning views. 3 bedrooms with double beds, 3 terraces and a private saltwater pool. Ideal for a larger family looking for peace and relaxation in beautiful countryside. Just 25 minutes drive to the sea.

Introducing Casa Glori

Casa Glori is the ideal location for a dream holiday. With plenty of room indoors and out, it’s perfect for a larger family or group of friends allowing you to enjoy time together but also to have your own space too.

After 3 years of careful renovation, the old priest’s house in Glori has been transformed into a stylish but confortable holiday home. All the rooms have stunning views onto the valley and the house has the perfect southeasterly orientation putting it in full sun from morning until evening.

The house consists of 2 levels:

The ground floor features a large, sunny kitchen which opens directly onto a terrace with garden table, sunbeds and a saltwater swimming pool.

There is a spacious sitting room which 0pens onto a second large terrace complete table tennis table. Also on the ground floor there is a double bedroom (walk-through room) with ensuite shower/WC.

The upper floor features 2 more double bedrooms, one with a large private terrace overlooking the valley. There is also a shared bathroom complete with free-standing bath from where you can enjoy the fantastic views.

Casa Glori is one of the few holiday homes in the region with fast Internet access via satellite with unlimited data volume. Ideal if you need to work or want to stream movies.

Casa Glori is located on the edge of the beautiful, ancient village of Glori in the Valle Argentina. It is an incredibly peaceful and serene location with wonderful country walks nearby. On summer weekends, you can enjoy delicious Ligurian food at Trattoria Gli Ausenda, a family-run restaurant.

You can reach Glori comfortably on good roads and find a parking space about 200m from the house. It is a short but steep walk to the house and not suitable for people who would find this difficult.

The medieval town of Badalucco is a 10 minute drive from the house where there are many restaurants, shops and cafes.

The sandy beaches of Arma di Taggia, a small town with beautiful promenade, shops and restaurants, are about 25 minutes drive from the house.

Please note: the house can only be rented for a minimum of 7 nights stay.

The title says it all. Note. to get this view, it’s quite a climb down to the house. The small city is nice and has a little restaurant.

Wundervolle Umgebung, sehr gut eingerichtete Küche und Bäder; tolle Terrasse mit herrlichem Ausblick. Lediglich ein Leselicht oder zumindest ein tragbares Licht im Haus fehlte. Wer die Einsamkeit oder das Wandern liebt und den Ausblick auf die ligurischen Berge genießen kann, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Der vor Ort ansässige Hauswart Simone hat uns alles gezeigt und war sehr nett und zuverlässig. Die nachträgliche Einforderung von relativ hohen Heizkosten (für 5 Stunden täglich) hat uns etwas gestört, besonders da wir mit nur zwei Personen dieses für 6 Personen konzipierte Haus bewohnt haben. Wir waren aufgrund der Anzeige von einem Pauschalpreis ausgegangen und hätten dies gerne vorab gewusst.

Ein wunderschöner Ort

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in dem wunderschönen, sehr sauberen Anwesen mit den großzügigen Schlaf-und Wohnräumen. Die sehr gut eingerichtete Küche, die große Terrasse mit dem herrlichen Pool und nicht zuletzt die phantastische Aussicht auf die Berge machten unseren Aufenthalt zu einem, den wir nicht vergessen werden. Die perfekte, sehr freundliche und individuelle Betreuung von Simone und auch das großartige Restaurant in Laufnähe machten uns die Woche zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis.

Panoramapool!

Super Haus! Hat alles was es braucht. Sehr persönliche Einrichtung. Küche ist top. Pool und Aussicht grandios! Auf der anderen Talseite hat es einen Steinbruch. Zum Teil werden Nachbarhäuser renoviert. Beides stört die Ruhe teilweise etwas. Der Fussweg zum Haus ist gut machbar. Schöne Rundwanderung um das Dorf Glori. Das Dorf Glori ist wie von einer anderen Zeit. Mix zwischen alteingesessenen Dorfbewohnern und "Aussteigern" die das Dorf neu beleben.

sehr erholsame Tage

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage. Die Aussicht ist 1A. Für den etw. steilen Weg vom Parkplatz empfehlen wir gutes Schuhwerk ( bei uns hatte es vorher geregnet u. es war etw. rutschig). Bei der Einrichtung fehlten uns Mülleimer in der Küche und unten im Bad sowie Haken im Bad und Topfuntersetzer für den Tisch. Der Hinweis anderer Bewerter hat uns sehr geholfen: Mückenspray + Stecker sind sehr empfehlendswert! Die Gegend hier ist wunderschön. Man hat die Ruhe der Berge- und das Meer vor der Nase. Leider hatte die tolle Pizzeria ab September schon zu, aber in Badalucco war die Pizza auch lecker! Während unseres Aufenthaltes ging die Therme kaputt und es gab 3 Tage kein warmes Wasser. Mattheo hat sich aber hervorragend vor Ort gekümmert und die Einigung mit dem Besitzer hat auch problemlos funktioniert. Danke dafür nochmal.

Großartig erholsam

Wunderschönes Haus in atemberaubender Lage. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist in jeder Hinsicht herausragend. Wenn die Anstrengung des Gepäckausladens vorüber ist, steht der Erholung nichts mehr entgegen. Es war noch beeindruckender, als die Fotos es suggerieren.

We had a great time at Glori ! The place looks exactly like it does on the pictures : very clean, stylish house and comfy. The host provided everything we needed and were available at all times to answer our questions very quickly. It’s definitely been one of our favourite holidays so far, and would definitely recommend it to others!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is great, clean and everything you need, is there. The surroundings are beautiful. It’s great to swim in a pool with such a beautiful view. It is lonely and the mule’s path to the house is steep, but if you can handle that, it is really a great place to stay

Fantastische Lage! Wunderschöner, ruhiger Ort. Tolles Haus.

Das sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus liegt wunderschön ruhig in den Bergen Liguriens. Die Aussicht von dort ist einfach atemberaubend schön. Es hat drei Schlafzimmer mit angenehmen Betten. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, nur Kleinigkeiten fehlten. Bis auf die Tatsache, dass es zu wenig Handtücher gab, hatten wir rein gar nichts zu beanstanden. Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt! Das nahegelegenen Restaurant, welches nur am Wochenende geöffnet hat, ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Nur eines hat uns ab und zu die Nerven geraubt: Die Mücken! Wir fuhren mit 30 Stichen pro Bein dennoch sehr glücklich nach Hause und würden jederzeit wieder gern hier Urlaub machen.
