It was a great place for my wife and I, and our 2 dogs. Fenced yard was a plus. We had to drive for walking areas for the dogs though. Door code didn't work, but host was responsive and got batteries changed, then no problems. Close to Asheville and day trips for waterfall adventures.

Thank you for staying at Hidden Pond and mentioning how you enjoyed the fenced yard. We are glad we could help with the door code. We are happy to serve you again soon, Charla & Mason!
Very beautiful cabin with lots of room. The outdoor fence is perfect for your pet to run around. Nothing is really nearby walking distance other than a nice view. No walking trails nearby which was not great for a pet that needs a lot of walking. The proximity to Biltmore and Downtown Asheville was rather convenient. I give 8/10 for the price. I would have given 9 but the water pressure was low for 2/5 nights of our stay.
Had a wonderful stay. Very comfortable property. Outdoor hot tub was great. Kitchen had the basics you'd need. Plenty of closet space. Water pressure and hot water is limited, but not really an issue if you space out showers and don't do laundry at the same time. Would have extended the stay a couple more days if there was availability.

The Rooster next door made sure you could not get a long night's sleep... He is very loud and if you're plans are to sleep late, bring yourself a pretty loud sound machine. Every Morning we were awakened between 5:00 & 5:30 AM... He did not even wait for the sun to come up... Glad to get back home so we could get a good nights sleep.

Very cozy. Not far from town yet felt secluded. Other than some plumbing issues, everything else was great. Really enjoyed the fire pit at night. Would stay again.

This was a great cabin that was close to Asheville and nice in the woods. We wanted a fenced in yard for the dogs so this place was perfect. Lots of towels and blankets, which is key.

Thank you for staying at Hidden Pond! We are glad that not only you enjoyed the property, but also your dogs. Good to know that there are enough towels and blankets.
This is a perfect property - exactly as pictured. Clean, spacious, well maintained. Loved the fenced yard for our pup. Kitchen well stocked, large dining table great for games and family meals. Gas grill a great addition. The two separate bedrooms with baths was nice for privacy. Excellent location - secluded yet close enough to Asheville for day trips/exploring. Grocery store just a few miles away also very convenient. A perfect weekend getaway with friends - thank you

We loved the location and the home. The directions provided were not great and there were a few small maintenance issues. I wish there was someone that answered a call vs. leaving a message and waiting for a call back.
Couldn't have asked for a more perfect fit. The property is wooded, has a fire pit, AND a hot tub. As well as a fireplace inside! It had exactly the cabin feel we wanted, being literally around the corner frrom downtown Asheville. This was exactly what we needed - thank you!
We had a great time at Hidden Pond as a family! We enjoyed the fenced yard for our dogs, the hottub and the fire pit. The house was clean and cozy. The only con was that we did not realize the property was off of a busy road. There was one day that tree work was being done at the road all day directly in front of the house which was disruptive to the relaxing atmosphere. I realize that is out of CM’s control, just wish it was noted in the listing that the road is busy! Other than that one day we greatly enjoyed our stay.
Very much enjoyed out stay. Property was just as advertised, clean with many nice touches. Reservation process and check in checkout were very easy. would recommend highly.

Cozy and Clean Cabin
The cabin was spotless which is so appreciated. Loved the little touches like soaps and plenty of towels, etc. Beds were comfy too. The only downside is that it’s close to a somewhat busy road so it’s not as quiet as we wanted and a risk if you have a dog who decides to slip down the open deck and head toward the road. Thankfully, we got him back quickly and after blocking the opening with the furniture, we solved the problem. If the gate could open the opposite way, that would help. Just a thought. The dogs did appreciate the backyard very much.

Nice rental
Our family of five arrived to a wonderful cabin with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. A few down sides are the back deck is in need of repair, we had to strip our own beds and start a load of sheets before we left. There isn't a clear view of the mountains and it wasn't as secluded as we had hoped as the cabin is in a neighborhood. Overall we had a good time as we were close to downtown Asheville (10 minute drive) and had plenty to keep us busy.
