Yellowstone Park Riverfront Cabin 1. Year-round rental available for premium recreational activities. Just a few steps from world-class blue-ribbon trout fishing and hiking in the National Forest. Walk, hike, or ride horseback through the National Forest entry. Only a casual walk of 1100+/- feet to boundary of Yellowstone Park. Approximately a four-and-a-half mile drive through the Park to the Roosevelt Arch entry at Gardiner (the North Gate). NOTE PLEASE: Calendar for this cabin #69590 has few openings available, however, if the open dates do not meet your preferred dates, I listed another near identical cabin on VRBO.com #935195
Note: As I have reservations for 9 months to a year in advance and many return guests who reserve early, be sure to contact owner at your earliest convenience to secure your preferred dates. ALSO CHECK OUT #935195 (similar cabin by same owner) for available dates.
Here is your unique opportunity to enjoy Mammoth's geological wonders and the vast variety of wildlife and activities of Yellowstone National Park as well as numerous educational possibilities.
The cabin is modern, comfortable, convenient, and in a very private setting (not on the highway) with spectacular scenic views of the Park, wildlife, and Electric Peak. It is just like being in the Park without being in the crowds. Its location is near the campfire area on the banks of the Yellowstone River.
Cabin 1 has two master suites (each with luxury queen beds and bath), flat-screen TV's, fully equipped kitchen, covered private patio, WiFi, washer/dryer.
The cabin is located 47+/- miles to Livingston, 70+/-miles to Bozeman. There is a county airport in Gardiner and Bozeman’s Yellowstone International Airport is 75+/- miles.
Note: Your early reservation, prior to January 1, will ensure the lowest peak-season rate.
Depending upon desired dates, it can be possible to reserve independently owned cabins for additional guests if you are planning a larger get-together. Without exception, I have been told my cabin is superior to my guests expectations.
Don't forget that the Gardiner/North Gate entrance to Yellowstone Park, Mammoth, the Lamar Valley, and Cooke City, is open year-around. Winter in Yellowstone is awesome!
Note: Video link shows interior of Cabin 1. Cabin 8 location on the banks of the Yellowstone is the same and the amenities are nearly identical.

Bonnie was an exceptional host. The cabin was comfy and clean and well stocked. The location on the Yellowstone River and so close to Yellowstone Park was outstanding. Bonnie provided quick answers to any questions and was a joy to communicate with. We felt like we were staying at a friends house. Will definitely stay here again….. highly recommended.
Great location with a great view! We loved sitting on the back porch on glide swing and listening to the river after a long day in the park. Very easy park access and about a 10 minute ride into town. The elk and pronghorn in the neighborhood were an added bonus.
Couldn’t be happier with our stay! Bonnie was AMAZING!!! answered all our questions promptly. Cabin was beautiful and super clean. Great location! I highly recommend!

Thank you Andrew, the very word you labeled your review is a cherished word for me "Awesome"! Also, your acknowledging how clean my housekeepers maintain both my cabin and chalet for our welcomed guests is valued! We are fortunate to be located on the Yellowstone River with all its Eagles, Ospreys, and even sometimes Owl visits which are among some of our other wildlife neighbors. I would be honored with your future visit(s)!
Beautiful views of the mountains and the river. We saw elk every day right outside the cabin. Plenty of room with 4 beds and 2 full bathrooms. Host even provides a hard sided cooler. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful quiet setting.
What an amazing cabin and location. My family absolutely loved the cabin. It was in a prefect location to Yellowstone and to the downtown area to food shop and to eat if you wanted. We loved watching the rafters go by in the river and decided to book a trip ourselves. We loved it! Bonnie was great getting back to us with any questions we had. I hope one day we will be back again in this stunning location!!
Amazing cabin. Better then expected. Clean, super comfortable, the view of the river and the sound of it is incredible. Bonnie is always available. We traveled the park a lot and loved coming back to the cabin at night to bbq and relax. 10/10 recommended
We have been to Yellowstone and the Gardiner areas several times over the last few years. This was a first trip for us in the fall and this location did not disappoint! The house was perfect for us, clean cozy and just a short drive to the park entrance and right on the river.
The cabin was wonderfully laid out and cozy. It had all the comforts of home that we needed. The owner was great to work with. We will definitely return if we come back to the area.

Gregory, thank you for taking time to honor the hard work my housekeepers do in presenting a very clean cabin. Thank you also for mentioning that I met with your host requirements as it is not just having the best clean place to call your home away from home while visiting Yellowstone ... it is for me important to share options/suggestions that hopefully answer your questions and meets your being able to plan your Yellowstone wish list. We are very fortunate to have many precious wildlife visitors some among the cabin environment and many up and down our roadway to and from the Park. I would love to have your return visit(s)!!
Overall great experience! Perfect location! Cabin had everything you needed! Very peaceful by the river, elk visited daily. We will definitely be back!
This property is the perfect choice if you’re wanting to visit and explore Yellowstone northern entrance sites. The location is wonderful it feels secluded yet close to everything you need. The cabin is extremely clean and well equipped with anything you might need! Bonnie is so helpful and knowledgeable of everything in the area! We stayed at the property 4 nights with our two teen age boys and we would definitely return! If your looking for a place to stay near Yellowstone this is the perfect property
The cabin's location was the perfect distance away from town and away from the crowds, and the north rim of Yellowstone. Our family enjoyed listening to the river at night after a long day of exploring in Yellowstone. The beds were so comfrontable and perfect. I highly recommend this place!

This cabin is lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed staying for the week here. It is very close to the north entrance to Yellowstone through the town of Gardiner. We traveled to the park most days, but also enjoyed sitting on the porch & watching wildlife & action on the river. Great cabin... very clean and homey.

Our cabin (#1) was located on the Yellowstone River and had spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The cabin has two separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The kitchen/dining area and living room faces the River. It was very clean and had all that we needed for our four night stay.

Thank you Jamey ... you captured the location on the banks of the Yellowstone River and included our incredible spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. You mentioned the two master suites which many of my guests have surely appreciated. The living center with the kitchen and living room you mentioned has the 3 large picture windows looking to the river and the Park and mountains which I never want to take for granted! Mentioning how clean the cabin is honors the hard work my housekeepers deserve to know is appreciated. I am so honored that the cabin and the location met with your anticipation for a great visit! You are always welcome to return!!
About the host
Hosted by Bonnie Lynn
I love sharing my passion for the beauty and wonders of Yellowstone Park. I attend many of the classes offered in Yellowstone and know it would take many lifetimes to embrace the full impact of this incredible National Park preservation. As one guest said the other day: 'I have traveled the whole world and Yellowstone is my favorite!'
Why they chose this property
The Yellowstone Park Riverfront Cabins are set in a prime location at Gardiner. It's just like being in the Park without being in the crowds. There's not only the fact that the cabins are on the banks of world-class blue-ribbon trout fishing and across the road from the National Forest, but guests can walk into Yellowstone Park, approximately 1100 feet south from the driveway entrance.
What makes this property unique
The unique benefits of Cabin 1's amenities are the primary reasons why many guests return for visits. It's just a short drive (fewer than 5 miles) from the cabin to the Park through the Roosevelt Arch entry in Gardiner and fewer than 20 minutes to Mammoth. Guests enjoy a modern, clean, convenient, well-equipped cabin home and do not need to move from one place to another to enjoy the entire Park because the cabin is within easy access of all the wonders of Yellowstone.
