a canal and only 5 min walk to the beach. Location, location, location it's everything. Whether your preference is to be just steps away from the white sands of Cocoa Beach and all the oceanside wonders or to enjoy the comforts of your own
luxurious backyard, either one will ensure a vacation to remember.
The back yard is complete with private swimming pool, palm trees and
pristine canal views. Nature will come to you. With professionally maintained lawns and serviced pool, your canal front home boasts comfort and picturesque views not only from the master bedroom but also the large living room, dining room and guest bedroom now that's relaxation. The poolside area is comfortably furnished with patio furniture.
The home is over 1800 sq feet with 3 spacious
bedrooms (one king, 2 queen), 2 bathrooms and a large living and
dining room for everyone to enjoy. If you need additional beds we have a
folding cot and a hide-a-bed in the living room. A fully equipped kitchen will keep eating out costs at bay and full laundry facilities will allow for less packing
(*remember all towels and linens are supplied!!). The adults will be
able to watch movies on the 55 UHD TV in the living room after a
long day at the beach or in the pool plus a 19' LCD in the Master Bedroom. Just sit back an relax, this is your home away from home in Florida. This homes screened Florida
room with access from 4 patio door is fully furnished for dining and
entertaining. It overlooks your private swimming pool, treed
backyard and canal providing the option of enjoying your meals
indoors or outdoors. You and your family members will enjoy the
local herons, fish of all sorts, curious dolphins and visiting
manatees (summer) which frequent the canal regularly and can be enjoyed from
the comforts of your own dock. This canal is directly open into the
Banana River and close to Cape Canaveral locks for access to the Atlantic. Enjoy Kayaking in the canal or venture out into the mangroves the see the manatees and dolphins. This is where the tour boats go to take the other travelers to see nature at it finest.

Two weeks in Cocoa Beach

Spent two weeks in Cocoa Beach. This property offered everything we needed. The pool was great to be able to get water time between storms. Property was clean and comfortable with multiple couples. Fully stocked with everything we needed.

location is outstanding. close to everything. Back yard is beautiful, but pool is not heated so only good for summer use. Loved the back yard so much we only went to the beach twice! Large home with lots of space. Enjoyed it very much!

Wonderful stay

This is our second trip to Cocoa Beach. This house was fantastic. We LOVED having the pool. The location on the canal was tranquil and the beach is extremely close. We drove because of the 3 kids, our boogie boards, and all of the other gear, but could have walked to Lori Wilson beach.

Very nice place

Nice home in perfect location. Close to NASA and right next to the beach. Fishing in the backyard was awesome. Catfish loved chicken livers. I wish that pool was heated. Strongly recommend this property.

Wonderful home!

Clean home with private pool, pier and yard. My 3 year old absolutely loved the pool and the teenagers loved fishing from the pier. Close to restaurants, fun activities, and the ocean. Watched rocket launches from backyard. Can't wait to return!!

Nice house, nice location

We had a great stay. The house was old but nice, we especially enjoyed the outdoor terrace. The location was great. The pool could have been cleaner, it was fairly green. It was not a 5 min walk to the beach, more like 12-14 min and having to cross a busy street.

Enjoyed staying at this house for some peace and quiet. House is plenty spacious for certainly 2 and up to 3 couples. Lanai was nice to relax in the shade. Pool is perfect for just lounging. House is outfitted with plenty of utensils, pans, etc.. Drip coffee maker for those interested. Close enough to the beach to walk about 10 minutes. Close to dining and shopping options. Publix is 2 minutes driving up the road or a 10ish minute walk. Saw dolphins and manatee in the canal during our stay.

Nice roomy house..that could use some updates, like ceiling fans. Pool, canal & Florida room were awesome. More kid friendly dishes & cups (plastic) would've been nice. Getting to the beach in that traffic was a nightmare. Overall a good vacation

Our home has had considerable updates in the last few years. A/C and Furnace is new, installed in the last then 6 months. Electrical system and panel has been graded with in the last year. Kitchen cabinets (oak) and granite counter top installed two years ago. Florida room screening/wall installed 2 years ago. Gas stove is less then a year old. The dining room has a 30" ceiling fan. Each bedroom has a three foot 16" standup fans. There are 4 additional portable (4") fans in the home. It's unfortunate that the guest didn't contact me about locating these appliances within the bedroom closets. We also provide plastic cups/spoons/forks/knives for our guest to use around the pool and for children. Not sure what specific item was required (sippy cup) buy it is recommend that if guests require specific requirements they contact me before their reservation to confirm availability.

best vacation home

This is our 3rd time staying here. My grandson loves to fish here in the canal each time we stay. We catch many different kinds of fish and have had several large ones get away. The pool is refreshing, the house is always clean with everything we need. The neighborhood is quite and we saw 2 rocket launches this time. Close to the beach, we prefer the short drive to the beach on the street just past Ron Jons or to the beaches across from patrick airforce base. Adam the host is always polite and helpful if needed. We will stay again

Beautiful Setting

Watching the dawn and sunset with the lovely canal in the foreground was a great way to begin and end the day. We frequently enjoyed the large screened back porch to have meals and play cards. The furniture was quite dated and did cause some problems for folks with sore backs, particularly when watching tv. The beach is really not an easy walk considering the four lane busy road to cross. Cocoa Beach does a great service by providing ample parking in the parks nearby. Thus, a very short drive gets you to the beach with all your gear. We greatly enjoyed our stay at this lovely VRBO.

Loved this location!

We had a wonderful vacation at this house! Close to the beach, easy walk/roll on pavement or sidewalk. Plenty of beach toys, large sand mat, and great wagon to take to the beach. The backyard with pool and canal was great. The pool water was clear when we arrived, unfortunately a storm undid that with lots of leaves and debris so we weren’t able to use that to full potential, pool service is once per week. The large screened terrace made every evening comfortable and relaxing overlooking the water, and we saw dolphins one evening! The furniture and beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was quick to respond and provided lists of information like wildlife you might see, closest grocery, fun things to do, instructions for this and that, very helpful!

Best of both worlds

My husband and I stayed here with our four children. The house is roomy and has plenty of space for 6 people. We spent time on the canal in kayaks and spotted otters, dolphins and a manatee!! The pool was great as well, especially on the afternoons it was too windy to be at the beach. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the beach without staying right on it. It’s literally a 2 minute drive to Lori Wilson park where there is public beach access, showers, bathrooms, etc. I highly recommend this property if you love going to the beach but also like quiet time away from it. The location of this home also puts you within a 5 minute drive of great restaurants and shops. We were also able to see a rocket launch from the yard. Cannot say enough great things about this property!

A Perfect Family Getaway – A Hidden Gem in Cocoa Beach!

Our family just returned from an amazing week at 148 Jamaica Dr., and we can’t wait to go back! This was our second visit to Cocoa Beach but our first time staying here, and it exceeded expectations.The location is perfect—a quiet street, an easy walk to the beach, and close to Lori Wilson Park with direct access to a beautiful shore and playground. We watched three Kennedy Space Center launches, two from the spacious front yard!Highlights of our stay:The Pool: The kids loved swimming anytime, and there were plenty of floaties.The Florida Room: We ate every meal here, and my daughter and I enjoyed cosy reading time at night.The Dock & Canal: Morning coffee while our son fished was a treat. We saw manatees, dolphins, and stingrays and kayaked daily through beautiful canals.Beach Perks: A wagon, toys, and boogie boards made beach trips easy!Spacious & Clean: The house was spotless and well-stocked with supplies.Adam was an excellent host—quick to respond to any questions. This home provided the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. One of our top Florida stays—we can’t wait to return!

Excellent location

The property is in an excellent location and is quiet.There is a good sized pool and good outlook onto canal with plenty of wildlife. We saw two dolphins which was a bonus. Our only criticism is the bathrooms which are very dated particularly the ensuite to the master bedroom.The shower has little water pressure. The shower outlet is very low even with a cheap flexible attachment that has been installed. A complete new shower unit with rain head shower head and a separate shower head on a flexible hose which is the norm for other villas we have stayed at at this rental cost.This would give a very positive 5 stars but as it is hence the 4 star rating.

Sorry you had difficulty with the master shower Paul. The subject shower control valve is equipped with a Moen Positemp valve to avoid uncomfortable temp changes in the the water temp. The residence/shower has adequate water pressure. That particular control vale operates water temp in two directions. Turning to the left temp will change cold to hot and to the right temp changes hot to cold. It would have been nice if you just called me with your concern and I could help you on day one rather then ruining your stay with us.

It felt like home - CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!

We traveled with 4 adults and two kids (10 and 6 years old). The pool was a lifesaver - the kids enjohed it so much. We fished in the canal and the walk to the beach is SO EASY. It only takes about 10 minutes - and that is walking with two kids. And the screened in porch is absolutely wonderful at night - no bugs - and we still enjoyed being outdoors! People say that the house is old. Yeah - kind of. It's decorated in homey, a bit older kind of decorations BUT everything is quality and in great condition. It is such a comfortable feeling house. We all felt like we could live there it was that comfortable. We absolutely loved it. It is very close to restaurants, bars, and activities. Some you can walk or bike to. I would not at all hesitate to stay here again!

Excellent place to stay / great host

We had a great vacation, and I want to thank Adam for his help while we were there. The location is great. You can walk to the beach, and access to the canal and Banana River is right out the back door! Everything you need is just minutes away, and the house is in a quiet neighborhood. The house had everything we needed, and was plenty big enough for 6 people to share for the week. The pool was great, and we enjoyed the screened in porch area. If you stay here, you need to take a paddle down the canal and check out the mangroves in the Banana River. The place is amazing! We saw dolphins, manatees, rays, and many different types of birds. The access to the Banana River is a super great perk, and you should not miss it if you're staying here. We had an issue with the door lock one night, and I called Adam for help. I hated to bother him, but he was great. Very friendly, and he had his neighbor come and help us out. (His neighbor was great as well!) My whole family agreed that this was the best VRBO we've stayed at in Florida, and we plan to come back.

We love this location on the canal and close to public beaches. Our grandson loves to fish off of the dock and the pool is very nice. The house is just as described and clean. The host was very responsive when we needed him to resolve a problem.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful time. Adam was wonderful to work with and answered all my questions. The house was perfect for us. I know others complained about the temp only going down to 73. But there was no need to complain. The house stayed very cool for all of us and we only had it down to 74. The bathrooms are a little dated but since we don't spend most of time in there we didn't care. We got to see dolphins one day. And our new friend Sam (the heron) came to help my husband fish several different times. The pool was a little dirty even after Adam called to have them stop in a few times for us that week. Which we were very thankful for. Overall I say this is a perfect house for anyone wanting to spend time at home or going to the beach (which parking was right down the road).

Incredible Home

I was hoping to wait until the sting of having to leave wore off but it's going to take more time for that. Let me start by saying that Adam was very great to work with. When I had a question he was very quick to respond and was always polite, professional and courteous. Now the home, well the pictures don't really do it justice. It's very good sized but I will say there were only 3 of us which we generally only have 4 at the most. It's very clean and easy to get acclimated to. There's not an over abundance of complex tech or complicated appliances. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and although it's located directly off the A1A, traffic noise is minimal. It's also not far from Lori Wilson Park which is a very nice park and it has free parking with access to the beach. Truly you are mostly centrally located to most anything you want to do for those of you who plan a lot of activities. If you don't do that sort of thing it's perfect for just enjoying your time and chillin' by the pooland or sitting on the dock watching the Banana River. Out of many of the places I have stayed over the years this home is my favorite. I'm only disappointed because it was time for my vacation to end. Thank you, Adam for sharing your amazing home with my family and I.

We had an amazing stay at this property. The house was clean the dock was perfect for our fishing needs. We came right outside the screened in porch to swim or fish!! The house was very spacious! We would definitely go back.

Springtime on Jamaica

We enjoyed our stay in Cocoa Beach during the kids Spring Recess. The property checks all the boxes: clean and spacious with plenty of amenities - proximity to beach, pool, dock fishing. Plethora of dining options all within a short drive. Seeing a commercial rocket launch from the front lawn was exciting for all of us. Already trying to figure out when we can return.
