OCEANFRONT! Come and enjoy rocking on the front porch! October dates available.
Enjoy a great family getaway only steps from the ocean at Folly Beach! Early risers will enjoy watching the sun as it rises over the ocean. Watch the surfers from the front porch while you relax in the swing or rocking chairs.
In addition to 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, we have Bedroom #4 which is actually a very large sunroom that includes 2 twin beds, futon, and extra living space--a perfect place for kids! Bedroom 1 has a queen bed; bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a pack and play; and bedroom 3 has a king bed.
Two large bathrooms are off the hallway and offer convenient access from all bedrooms. One bathroom has a tub/shower and the largest bathroom has a walk-in shower.
In the spacious family room, there are 2 additional daybeds. The kitchen has a dining bar that seats 5. The dining room table seats 6.
When you're ready for time in the shade, enjoy the cool breeze while swinging in one of the two swings on the deck under the house. There is also a 3rd bathroom/shower room on this level. In the evening, you can experience the wonderful sunsets over the Folly River and view the historic Morris Island Lighthouse from the deck. There is a gas grill on the upstairs deck, and we keep an extra propane tank for the grill in the shower room.

About the host

My 2 sisters and I are the original owners of our family beach house. We take pride in making sure our renters want to return to Heavenly Days yearly! Our children and grandchildren have 'grown up' coming to Folly, and it is their 'home away from home.'
Why they chose this property
In the early 1950's, our uncle purchased property at Folly Beach. He and his wife named their first cottage--a converted trailer--Heavenly Days. After many years they built a house. It was destroyed during Hurricane Hugo, and at the age of 80, he built another Heavenly Days. Our mother (his sister-in-law) purchase a lot and built our existing house. After our uncle and aunt sold their house, we were able to take the name 'Heavenly Days' for our house. And, hopefully, we will have Heavenly Days to share with renters for many years to come!
