Updated cottage located on private lot abutting the woods within the gated Beach Dreams Resort community. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and one with a twin over full bunk bed. The living room has a Full sleep sofa. There is a fully applianced kitchen, washer and dryer, full bathroom, and enclosed screened porch with another full sized sleep sofa. We use this room as a third bedroom when needed.

*********What sets our cottage apart from the others at Beach dreams? We are on a corner lot with neighbors on only one side. The sun room is over looking the woods. We recently upgraded the TV to a 42 inch high definition, and added a tv to the master bedroom. Our lot has a lot of grass space and privacy.

Lovely cottage, great location!

This is a lovely cottage for a family of four, including room for 2 kids under 3 to run around in. Comfortable beds, plenty of fans, A/C units kept the place cool during 90 degree weather. Good size washer and dryer and all the essentials and more in the kitchen. Loved the pool. And everyone we meant was so friendly and nice, a community I hope to stay at again!

Great vacation!

We love Beach Dreams~close to many beaches, grocery store, and the kids love going to the pool after a long day at the beach! Cottage is in a quiet location in the back of the complex and has a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer. Remember to bring your own bedding and towels~I didn’t see that in the listing and had to run to the closest store the first night and buy $150 worth of sheets and bath towels! Communication with the owner was fantastic! We will definitely be booking again!! Thanks for a great vacation!! 😊

Cleaning

The property’s location was good. No air conditioner set up in master bedroom. The redraws not wiped down and there was sand on the 2nd bedroom’s bed as well as the couch in the sunroom. The bathroom was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The front combination door was not cleaned. I’m not faulting the owners but they might want to check on the cleaning people.

Carol-Ann- Sorry About the A/C in the bedroom not bring set up. It is a floor unit that hooks into the window and some people choose not to use it and put it in the closet. The bedroom does have an A/C unit. We do use a cleaning company to clean in between renters. I have reached out to them regarding your review. Thanks for your feed back.

What trip?

No matter your age, and the age of your guests, things do happen and you should purchase the insurance offered. We had a family emergency on our drive from Pennsylvania to Maine and had to leave for Tennessee mid-route. I contacted the owner immediately and explained what happened.(I feel that I need to explain that our trip to Maine was for a Memorial Service for my mother, not a vacation). After contacting the owner, whom I had a great relationship with to this point, I was told to contact VRBO. VRBO was very sympathetic and understanding. They in turn told me that it was up to the OWNER if I could cancel the reservation and to please stay on the phone while they called... ??? "I just talked to the owner!" He gets back on the phone telling me that the owner said that I could not cancel and no funds would be reimbursed. I hope that people reading this can see my frustration at this point. It was the game between the two that was upsetting, not the actual answer. So, who am I upset with up to now? Me not getting insurance or my first and last loss with VRBO that cost thousands for a one week stay. Sadly, both could have handled this in a more professional manner. Never trust kindness, always watch your back & always remember people choose money over anything else.

Truly sorry that Michelle had a family loss during the week that she booked our cottage. Summer in Maine is high season and we use renters to help off set the cost of owning a vacation home. We have kids in college and could not financial except the loss of a week of income. Michelle did not contact me till the day after she was suppose to come to Maine. I told her before she called VRBO that we would not refund her money but that VRBO does offer insurance on your rental. She wasn't sure if she purchased it. I told her to call VRBO to find out if she had and then her money would be refunded by the insurance policy that she purchased. VRBO did call me again to ask if I would refund and I said no that we would not due to the late cancellation which is clearly stated on the rental contract that she signed. In the past we have refunded renters who have had family emergency's, health issues as long as we have enough time to rent the property. We can't rent the property when the rental week has already started. We did also find out from the management company that someone used the cottage during her week because the gate code she was given was used during the week. The gate code is specific to each renter.

Great vacation 2019

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage at Beach Dreams. The owner, Donna, was so helpful in any communication I had with her. The cottage was very clear, well equipped and very comfortable. My grandson's loved the bunk beds as well as the sunroom and especially the pool. Would definitely rent here again!

Perfect little gem, just right for family of 4

We are now home from a week at Donna and Michael's beach dreams cottage and missing it so much! We had a wonderfully relaxing time. The cottage was very well equipped, not a single thing was missing. The only thing we would have changed is the sunroom. We barely used it and would have liked it if it was open like some of the other cottages that used the space as a patio. But otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed every inch of it. Wells is a lovely beach town and we had great weather. Can't wait to go back!

Wells area has so much to offer

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage had everything we needed to make our family vacation perfect. The location was perfect as we were within minutes of Wells, Ogunquit, and York attractions. The Beach Dreams complex had a nice pool that we were able to enjoy throughout the week. The whole property is well maintained and we felt secure our entire stay. The owner was very communicative throughout the whole process and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible!

We had an awesome time staying in Maine at Beach Dreams. The cottage felt like home.

We would love to stay there again for our summer vacation. The cottage was comfortable, had all the amenities of home and was well taken care of. The location is central to all the beaches, restaurants and shopping. If you are looking for a beautiful beach cottage I 100% recommend staying at Beach Dreams. The owners are very friendly and kept in touch with us after we booked the rental and before our stay.

We love the beach!!
We are a family of four that love to enjoy everything the beach has to offer. Our two girls are very active in theater so part of our summer is spent at theater camp. During these weeks we rent our cottage to help with the expenses of having a second home.
