Great place, loved all the balconies and the swing. Beds were comfortable and heat worked well. We appreciated the kitchen extras, like spices. We also were able to use fire pit and loved the quiet area!
This home is an amazing and enjoyable place to stay. Very convenient to Maggie Valley and easy to access while also being private and secluded. There was plenty of room and all the necessary amenities you would need to spend several days. Our only issue would be parking. Parking is a bit limited. We will for sure be back again.
I took this trip with my two college age kids before they leave for school. It was a great reset in a nice town. We had a wonderful view and comfortable beds in this lovely cabin. The outdoor areas are nice for some quiet time reading or a game of checkers. Its a good choice for families or a single getaway for the weekend (or a little longer).
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Property access was easy and the view of and through the trees was all I needed. For those looking to utilize the kitchen, it was well stocked having everything we needed for the meals we made. Plenty of towels were provided as well compared to many places who give you just enough. All in all, I will put this in my list of places to stay again. Thanks for opening your home to us and all others!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean.
It was furnished with everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable! We especially enjoyed the back porch bed. Even with temperatures in the 30's, we stayed warm.
Our stay was great no complaints at all. very cozy weekend with friends. very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend get away . locations was perfect will definitely be staying next year for 2024 Rally.
The cabin was beautiful, spacious and the hosts were wonderful to deal with. My only complaint would be that tv’s should be in the downstairs bedrooms to keep from disturbing the upstairs guests. The porch with the swing was amazing!

Lovely and comfortable
We really enjoyed this home. The beds, bed linens, and towels were luxurious and very comfortable. Lots of nice touches! Anna and David were friendly and accommodating hosts. There were a couple of waterfalls within walking distance that were so peaceful to see. We look forward to staying here again!

carrie,
we enjoyed hosting your family. We are so incredibly fortunate to live here and truly love sharing it with nice families.
This is a lovely property in a great location nestled in the trees. Though not far from great sites, the feel is secluded. The cabin is clean and well-appointed. The owners are extremely responsive. Good for solo travel or a group.
The cabin is very nice and the location is perfect. We enjoyed our stay there very much. I would like to point out that the cover and pillows on the swing could use a good cleaning. I also wiped up some water that spilled on the kitchen floor and the paper towel was very dirty. It didn’t look like anyone had been there for awhile. There was a big cobweb and spider across the front door and cobwebs on the porch chairs. These were a minor inconvenience but I thought the owner should know. Having said this I would go back tomorrow if I could. Overall it is a great place
The property was exactly like described. The morning sunrise was spectacular while sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee. We would stay there again if we ever choose Maggie Valley for our destination. I can't say enough how pleased we all were.
We came up for a truck show, but it was the weekend the hurricane decided to come thru. Everything held up good. We will have to try when the weather is better for sure. Thanks for everything and we loved the place!

So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. It is truely our joy to share our little bit of heaven with others. You are welcome anytime!
This cabin had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and we really enjoyed the deck with the swing bed. The kitchen was fully stocked including having a Keurig machine. Water pressure was great and towels were luxurious and there were plenty of them. We enjoyed watching movies on the Roku in the evenings, Wi-Fi worked great as well. The only negative we could find was the cabin is so nice that you won’t want to leave. We are definitely planning on staying here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
The tv did not work the heaters are missing the control knobs to turn on and off had to wash plates and cups before I could use them bushes are growing out in driveway so had to park towards top of hill so I didn’t scratch my car the refrigerator is ran by a drop chord outdoor sleeping area is just a dirty dusty mattress on back porch and host said I owed them 50 for stained sheets that we did not stain and told me to disregard then charged my card anyway and had to clean all the trash out the fire pit before before we could use it

Excellent for a family of 4 and dogs
We enjoyed our stay at Forget-Me-Not. We brought our 2 golden retrievers with us and although there is no yard space, the road is quiet enough to walk down with pets. Anna was very kind by making sure we would have enough room for our family to sleep comfortably. The heating and A/C works well throughout the house. Plenty of towels and linens provided. The only thing we recommend is to be mindful of the size of vehicle for the driveway. It is a little steep and narrow. We drove an F250 and needed 4WD to get out of the driveway when the driveway was wet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here at this cabin and we hope to be able to come here again.

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay! This is such a special time of year here. Four wheel drive is recommended in many of the steeper properties in our area during severe weather, happily, our guests have found the drive way very easy . :)
Stop over from Hilton Head Island. We wanted to have a half way stop to relax before heading home to Cincinnati. And my husband wanted to stay in Maggie Valley instead of Gatlinburg due to it being the weekend and we didn’t want to deal with the traffic and crowds. This cabin was just perfect for us very peaceful and quiet area. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The back porch is beautiful with a swing and partial view of mountains. We saw 2 turkeys on our first night! And lots of birds and squirrels playing in the trees! My favorite was the lower outdoor bedroom where me and my husband stayed the whole day it was raining and just listening to the rain and spending time with my hubby on our 35th anniversary was just magical! Anna was so attentive to us answering our questions just wonderful! Thank you Anna for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin!

We have had a very rainy few weeks and everything is green and grows fast. ! The grass got a little longer since the last mowing 1 week ago. I did get that pesky cob web in the outside porch. Thank you for pointing it out. Thankfully I didn’t see any spiders in the bathroom, but the pest control is coming as scheduled. Mountain living has its quirks. Let’s adress those beds. New Lucid queen MEDIUM firm hybrid 12 inch thick gel foam mattresses that even Goldilocks would love! See the many reviews from very happy guests. There are wall hooks for hanging towels that one could certainly use for clothes. Please use the 2 dehumidifiers downstairs in the cabin during humid weather. We appreciate the helpful comments but nothing speaks louder than our many many 5 star reviews on this platform and our booking sites!
