We had a wonderful stay with our two small dogs at this cute Carmel-by-the-Sea cottage!! The proximity to Carmel Beach is wonderful! Also super close to restaurants and other activities in Carmel! The host was communicative and the check-in process was seamless!

House is located in a nice quiet part of Carmel By The Sea, yet close to everything. Carmel is a very dog friendly community and you and your doggo will love the beach, walks and accommodating restaurants. House is very clean and provides everything you may need for a lovely stay.

This has become our home-away-from-home whenever we’re in Carmel. It is so very comfortable and warm you feel welcome as you step through the front door. This was our third time renting here and it won’t be our last.

My husband and I and our two adult children absolutely loved Karen’s home. The location is fabulous, the neighborhood quiet. The house is well appointed and very charming with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is well equipped we couldn’t ask for more. We would love to come back.

Excellent location. Very clean and tidy. Kitchen is well appointed and overall it’s an adorable cottage. We loved our time in Carmel. The 5th bed is the couch and the kids said it was very comfortable.Only constructive feedback would be that the beds could use some updating - the one in the back bedroom was noisy and moved around when rolling over in bed, and the one in the front bedroom has mattress grooves from use. Also, with the check-in procedure, we missed the text with the lockbox code as we were in an area with no cell reception the day before so we spent the first 30-45 min locked out of the cottage. Vrbo did not have the information and the host kept saying we should have that info already before finally resending it. Once we got in, everything was great. Maybe it should be emailed and texted or sent via Vrbo messages?
