Tucked away in a quiet/private neighborhood in the "Golden Rectangle" on Carmel Point, Just 800 ft to Carmel Beach is our Sea Cottage. A short walk to Carmel State Beach & wildlife reserve (1block+). A short walk to the East is the Mission Ranch, owned by former Mayor/Actor Clint Eastwood. See sheep in the meadow, lagoon or enjoy a fine meal at sunset. Point Lobos is an experience that shouldn't be missed!
The cottage is completely updated. Casual elegance unparalleled.

This has become our home-away-from-home whenever we’re in Carmel. It is so very comfortable and warm you feel welcome as you step through the front door. This was our third time renting here and it won’t be our last.

My husband and I and our two adult children absolutely loved Karen’s home. The location is fabulous, the neighborhood quiet. The house is well appointed and very charming with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is well equipped we couldn’t ask for more. We would love to come back.

This cottage is charming, spotless, and in a perfect location. (We were a short walk to the beach but in a very quiet area). Each large bedroom has its own bathroom, which is great for two couples. Firewood was provided, which is often not the case. The patio fire pit was nice with the chilly afternoons. I highly recommend this cottage when visiting Carmel.

We were pleased to enter a spotless home and find it fully equipped with all we needed for our week-long stay. We felt right at home and settled right in. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The outdoor spaces made our stay even nicer, as we spent time with coffee in the morning and cool drinks in the comfy outdoor furniture in the afternoon. The location was ideal for walking to the beach and enjoying the charm of downtown. When we needed help, our host was quick to respond to my text. All in all, this was a 15 out of 10 property!

I grew up in Aspen Colorado on my Fathers cattle ranch which is now known as Snowmass at Aspen ski resort. I spent the school year in California and every summer in Colorado. Nursing was my passion and eventually led to my own successful business caring for the elderly in Carmel for over 20 years. I currently live in Pebble Beach.

Why they chose this property

I inherited this property in 2004 and lived in it for a time before updating and remodeling it. I'm so fortunate to own this little piece of paradise, it truly is an enchanting place. The quiet peaceful neighborhood, so close to the beaches, the village and Pebble Beach, yet so private. It's wonderful to be a part of this area, to experience all the wonders of our coastal life.

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with this Sea Cottage, it reminds me of the Sea cottages of old Europe. With their peaceful gardens, fences and close proximity to the sea. I know you will enjoy it too.
