We absolutely loved this stay. It was a gorgeous Queenslander,
Quiet, safe and hosts Daryl and his family were so accommodating and lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more. Thank you Daryl.
Amazing original Queenslander home set on a beautiful mango farm! Very comfortable, spotlessly clean, inviting deck in a beautiful setting amongst the trees and gardens. The host was very informative about the farm animals and allowed us to feed them.
Lovely & great outdoor space, but beds not so comfy
We had a lovely stay in this pretty home, great outdoor space and wide verandas for breakfasting.
Feeding the animals was fun; but didn’t keep my kids as entertained as a whole experience, beyond a couple of feeds.
The beds weren’t very comfortable - hard, inner-spring mattress and the pillows were lumpy (some new pillows would make all the difference).
Communication was excellent during the whole process, from booking, check-in and during our stay.
We appreciated the small pantry items - assortment of teas, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil.
Thank you for our Christmas stay.

Overall we were VERY disappointed with our stay which was booked as a surprise 50th birthday getaway weekend.
The farmhouse itself is absolutely lovely but a few things to keep in mind for the next people staying there - the people visiting before us must have used up most of the tank water as on the first night we noticed the water pressure starting to get lower and lower to almost non-existent. No relaxing bath was ever an option. By the second night it had run out completely!! Clearly not a huge tank so if there is more than 2 people staying you might be in for a bit of a problem with showers, toilet facilities, etc. The beds are unbelievably rock hard so that made for a very unpleasant sleep too. There is no extra blankets available but you do have a column oil heater in the bedrooms (which was needed). There is only one working smoke alarm located in a bedroom, basic pantry items need reviewing, no basic UHT milk or water in the fridge, no fire-starting supplies (apart from damp-ish wood) - basics missing!
Probably the most disappointing point is that this property shows quite clearly in the listing that breakfast is included - it’s not! It also shows that WiFi is available - it’s not! I did message ‘Ben’ to ask about breakfast being included when we arrived as I couldn’t see anything in the kitchen and was told that it wasn’t BUT “you can pick herbs from the garden and fruit from the trees or there’s a cafe down the road” - seriously?! Overall - very average.
We had a great stay and really enjoyed the visit to the farm - veggies and animals!
The property is well presented and maintained in a delightful area. The farm setting is stunning, with fantastic interactive visit to the veggie garden and animals, which the kids loved!
What a piece of heaven! The gardens of Europe come to Queeensland. It was like stepping back in time
Our lovely hosts have created a haven. The spacious cottage is faithfully restored with quality finishes and comfortable furnishings. The setting is sublime with shady trees and green lawn to sip a chilled champagne whilst listening birdsong. Feeding the animals and strolling through the pottager and market gardens was delightful and very interesting. The cooling breeze on the verandah was where we ended our evening and welcomed a visit by the farm’s rescue horse. A magical getaway.
We had a great time at Mango Hill Farm. Beautiful little place to stay, very quiet and peaceful. The kids enjoyed seeing/ feeding the animals and being able to run around the farm.
A perfect cottage on a beautiful property. Feels like home the moment you arrive. The kids loved visiting and feeding the animals and playing all over the property. A perfect local getaway and can’t wait to visit again!
This farm is a tranquil and beautiful piece of heaven! From our arrival we were greeted with the upmost hospitality. Then we got an informative tour of the property complete with amazing animal interactions. There were birds of all sorts happily flying about. The owners truly cared about our stay and they truly care about the well being of their animals. We even got a nice basket of breakfast foods! And while the staff is extremely curdious, they do not disrupt your piece and rarely can be seen unless needed so there is a sense that you are alone with nature. It's only a short easy drive to all sorts of great locations from Rainforests to mountains and Australia Zoo! Even a drive to Brisbane or Noosa and back can be easily done with little effort in a day.
I haven't even mentioned the beauty of the accommodations - a gorgeous farm house ("Queenslander") that is beautifully rustic while offering the comforts you'd expect from a vacation home. There is television, full kitchen, air conditioning, plenty of lighting, and hot water in the spacious modern shower or separate basin footed tub.
Wifi was a bit of a challenge and could be improved for staying in touch with home, etc. however, this sort of place lends itself to weening off your device for a spell so perhaps thats a good quality.
You don't have to interact with the animals and they certainly don't bother you but if you like that sort of thing there is plenty of enjoyment to be had with them.
I couldn't recommend this place more strongly and my words certainly do not do justice to the Farm.
The pictures of the tremendous efforts taken to relocate the 112 year old cottage and restore it on the property and the authentic decor made us truly appreciative of the opportunity to enjoy our stay. The gardens were spectacular, we enjoyed feeding the animals and Ben was very informative of all the work being done on the farm. The birdsong was very peaceful. A lovely place to get away from it all.
Such a beautiful stay - ticked all the boxes. Animals, flowers, organic vegetable gardens, historic homestead....loved every minute. Have already rebooked. A must do on the Sunshine Coast. The reception we received was heartfelt and these guys are really passionate about their farm. Thanks Daryl!

Lovely place to relax!
We had a wonderful stay at Mango Hill Farm - the accommodation was homely and inviting, the grounds were spectacular and we loved all the animals. My 3yr old keeps asking me to go back to the farm! Thank-you for a great holiday!
