The Makai Suite (by the ocean) is the largest and closest suite in the desired F Building to Maui's famous and best Kamaole Beach, Kamaole 2. This spacious condo offers stunning ocean views. luxurious finishes and an exotic, gourmet kitchen. I have the closest possible parking spot, right beside the accessible spot!!! I often host parties of 8! Maui Banyan boasts lushly landscaped grounds with 2 pools & 2 hot tubs, tennis, and several BBQ'ing/outdoor eating areas. The F building is the only building featuring its own private lawn with picnic table and BBQ. It is a great place for kids to play, while Mom or Dad is running the BBQ. This property features a front desk and 24 hour security, concierge services and is walking distance to all of the fun restaurants and shopping that South Kihei is known for! A quick note on the Kamaole Beaches. Kamaole 1 is murky and rough (less so at the South end) and Kamaole 3 has no lifeguard and is rough and has a small shoreline . Kamaole 2 is the crown jewel of the Kamaole Beaches, and this condo is just steps away!!!

This condo has one of the few, reserved parking spots in the F building which is there for your exclusive use, right next to the accessible parking spot, for your entire stay. This is very convenient for coming and going. loading and unloading!

Have the peace of mind of staying with a Premier Partner in a premium property with 5 star reviews!

This building is cement block construction and is very quiet inside the suite. This unit offers the best location as it is closest to the ocean, has trememdous views and finishes and is far away from the speed bumps on the driveway in, which makes for annoying, repetive noises in some of the units a few doors down, closer to the parking lot (check Google Earth).

Located in South Kihei, a neighbourhood in Kihei, this condo is near a water park and on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Wailea Beach and Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge, while Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum and Alexander and Baldwin Sugar Museum are cultural highlights. Maui Fish Pipe and Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary Headquarters are also worth visiting. Our weeklong stay at this property was outstanding! The host was great to communicate arrival and check-out instructions. The apartment accommodated our family of seven very comfortably (with the sofa bed). It had great beach access and many restaurant and shopping options within walking distance. We enjoyed the beach chairs, boogie boards, and other beach toys available on the patio. The host has a nice kitchen and a washer/dryer set for eating in and doing laundry as needed. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again in the future.

Second trip to Kihei. Absolutely loved this condo. Location is perfect. super clean. Lisa was accommodating and responsive. She was a joy to work with. The small things are what really added to the experience. Meaning there were basic condiments available cleaning supplies some paper products so after a long trip, shopping was less urgent. And when you’re on vacation, anything that makes things less urgent adds to the experience. If I were to own a short term rental, this is how I’d like it managed.

Amazing location in Kihei

We had a great time at this condo in Kihei. The location is great, it was very walkable to restaurants and shops and didn’t realize how much we would appreciate it until we were there. Kamaole beach park II is directly across the street and was an amazing beach, and we used the snorkel equipment available in the unit to see sea turtles off the reef at the south side of the beach. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. Would definitely stay here again, and also get the cinnamon buns down the street!

Kihei Maui Banyan Stay F102

This place was right across the street from Kam II beach. There were shops and places to eat within a couple blocks. The kitchen was well-equipped. There were beach towels, snorkel sets and a sand bucket with toys. The pool and hot tub were great temperatures and clean. It was a great place to vacation.

I booked my employees to stay there while on a business trip, unfortunately they never made it to the beach, but they liked the space and the all the great conveniences of home such as laundry, and the full kitchen. They would like to stay there again if they get sent back.

Convenient location

The condo was very convenient to everything! We walked to shops, coffee, restaurants & especially the beach directly across the street. It was easy to get to the highway to go to Lahaina, Iao State Park & the Road to Hana. We had a great experience & would suggest this unit for families!

Lisa definitely added the special touches to make it more comfortable here. The pool was warm and the hot tub was super hot. Great spot and great host. You are welcomed with a goodie basket full of Maui treats that were delish!

Decompressing in Kihei

Loved Lisa's place. We really planned on doing more in the Kihei leg of our trip, but mostly hung out and took short walks from the centrally located Kihei location! Easy access, beautiful accommodations, and stones throw from the beach and shave ice. What more can you ask for?

I am a Mom of 5 who enjoys travelling and hosting travellers. My husband and I have been running vacation rentals on Maui since 2010 and have wonderful guests, 60% of whom are repeats and referrals. Our condo is in the price mid-range of South Kihei Vacation Rentals. We offer newer furnishings and high end finishes, free WiFi, parking and North American calling, lots of free gear to use, and all with an ocean view. My greatest joy in hosting is in working with guests who appreciate all of the little touches that we have provided to make your stay magical. We love our guests and encourage travelers to stay with us who are people who approach life with gratitude and appreciation, and have a `half full' approach, as we do. Guests who find that they are generally disappointed wherever they stay (or eat, or work etc.) would not be a good fit. Thank you for considering staying with us.

I am available during your stay by email, and will generally be able to respond same day or next day. I do have a busy family and work life, and do not enjoy being hard-wired to my phone, so please be patient. but please reserve that for things that can't wait such as a lock-out or a burst pipe. It is 6 hours later where I live so please take that into consideration as well, when awaiting a response. Thank you and Aloha!

Why they chose this property

We purchased in this particular area because the beaches are THE BEST and we love the energy of South Kihei. We chose Maui Banyan because it has condos that are all on one level (no staircases within the unit which make for narrow living spaces, and tend to negatively impact the togetherness of the group), it is one of only 3 concrete constructed vacation rentals in the area (as opposed to wood frame) which provides superior soundproofing both from neighbours and traffic, and it has the best ammenities for our family (many local complexes do not have hot tubs, covered poolside cabanas with tiki torches and a 24 hour front desk and security, for example). We chose Unit F102 because we really value being close to the ocean. This unit is the closest that we could get in Maui Banyan, and a well thrown stone could hit the beach (not recommended :) When we want to go to the beach it is literally steps away and we love that. .We can sit out on the lanai and hear the waves crashing on the beach and that is amazing too! Please note that if you are someone who will be bothered, while outside (inside is quiet) by passing cars, either visually or aurally, please do not rent our condo. We want you to absolutely love being here, as we do, and if that is something that will bother you, than this condo would not be the best choice. When we sit on the lanai, all we see is the ocean and all we hear are the waves; thankful to be in paradise for as long as we are lucky enough to be able to stay. The cars come and go, but they are immaterial. If you are not oriented the same way, may I suggest a courtyard unit. You may lose ocean view and possibly gain pool view but you will not see or hear cars. Our condo is located in one of the two low-rise buildings at the front of the property, which was also appealing to us, as opposed to being in the larger towers which are less child-friendly due to the elevators etc. Our little one can just walk out the door and can toss the frisbee around!

What makes this property unique

South Maui is a vibrant, bustling neighbourhood and our condo places you very close to the action. Everything starts about a 2 minute walk to the north. Quiet for sleeping yet just a few steps to the excitement! A great location in that regard, but ... The beach across the street ... Amazing!

Please note that there are 3 regular beds (one king, two queens) and one queen sleeper sofa.
