The perfect place for a romantic getaway or family vacation. Newly renovated, impeccably decorated, loaded with amenities. Located on a "walk street" steps away from the beach, the Venice Canals, and walking distance to Abbott Kinney restaurants and shops. The house includes 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a private front yard. The master suite has a king bed with an amazing soaking tub, plenty of relaxing bath products, and a private outdoor deck. The second bedroom has a twin trundle bed that sleeps 2 with a bathroom that includes a steam shower. The living room has a pull-out sofa with a queen bed. The kitchen has Thermador appliances, dishwasher and the ever so necessary Technivorm coffeemaker. There are plenty of linens, bath towels and beach towels. The property includes an outdoor shower, private garden, garage with 2 parking spaces, wi-fi, cable, barbecue, washer & dryer, beach chairs, beach caddy, 4 bicycles, steam shower and amazing bathtub.

Great Place to Stay in Venice

Very comfortable place to stay for a couple. More than enough space. Garage is a nice plus, but be aware that it does not fit longer vehicles.

Great Getaway

The house was beautiful and very well appointed. Everything was clean and comfortable . The location was perfect for walking to the beach , eclectic dining options and close to our LA family.

So close to Venise

Great location and a great house. We loved the bikes and priximty to the beaches. Having a rental vehicle, the garage was extremely helpful. The interior was well laid out and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

A dream house!

This was the perfect place for me to recharge and relax - the location is amazing and the bikes got me around if I wanted to go anywhere…the house is a dream…communication was easy as could be…I had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to be back someday soon!!

Family fun weekend

Terrific house, close to the beach. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. The kitchen is well equipped. The house is a perfect beach house. It was great to have a garage to park in.

Beach awesomeness

This was a perfect location for all Venice Beach has to offer. It is super easy to get to and an easy 1/2 block walk to Venice Beach waterfront. The house was great.

This cottage was a great place to stay and had everything you could possibly need. Beach chairs, coffee,nice towels, and a cozy cute craftsman vibe. King bed was very comfortable and the twin with trundle was fine. Just a block from the beach, felt safe, quiet and private. Very good check in directions. It really had everything we needed and we appreciated the bottle of wine upon arrival! Elizabeth was very responsive and communicated promptly during the booking process. Thanks for a nice stay!

Quiet cottage, great location and amenities

This cottage was great for two parents and our older teen. The spacious garage was key for staying in Venice with a car. Everything in the house worked. Owner was very responsive. Quiet neighborhood at night -- we slept soundly. One teeny note: the second bedroom feels quite sparse and unlike the comfortable vibe of the rest of the house. Overall, this place is a keeper.

Perfect!

We splurged a bit with this beautiful home but it was well worth it! Loved the location to the beach and canals and really appreciated the “extras” - emergency toiletries, beach towels, beach toys, bikes, wagon, coolers etc. Thank you for accommodating our family’s trip of a lifetime!

Great beach bungalow.

Got away for a few beach days, it was my wife, our 14 year old daughter and her friend. House is well located near the beach and restaurants, we walked everywhere. House was clean, upgraded and had everything we needed; beach chairs, bikes, and beach wagon. We loved our time in Venice and the house was perfect. Definitely will be back. 5 stars......

Made a rainy stay perfect

Even with rainy Thanksgiving weather we had an excellent time in Venice thanks to the comfort of this lovely home. We are a family of 5 and we’re quite comfortable. Super maison très confortable et placée 😎

Maison très propre et très confortable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié d'avoir à disposition tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Les chaises de plage, les vélos offrent un grand confort. L'emplacement de la maison est exceptionnel! Un bémol, le peu d'échange avec le gestionnaire qui nous a semblé très froid.

Grande maison très très bien équipée ( notamment cuisine ) avec garage pour la voiture. Mise à disposition de vélos. Elisabeth est très réactive. La plage est à 100m, California way of life garanti !! Property was as advertised, comfortable for a family of 4 including 2 teens. Beach vibes with high quality appliances and finishes throughout the property. Less than 1 block from the beach, can’t beat the location and the host proactively communicated prior to arrival making check in very easy. Would stay here again.

Why they chose this property

The property was purchased as a west coast family vacation home. When we saw first saw the property we loved that it was quiet with the privacy of the walk streets, but not too far from the action. The house is steps away from beach, the Venice Boardwalk, Venice Canals, and Abbott Kinney. The traditional bungalow brought us back to our childhood and the updated amenities allows us to relax as soon as we walk in the door.

What makes this property unique

Everything is new in the house and includes all the amenities of a 5 star hotel with the sweetness and privacy of a turn-of-the century craftsman style California beach bungalow.
