Such a beautiful home we had plans to go out and about, but honestly this place wants you not to go out everything you need is in the home and the surroundings. The owner Ms. April is very welcoming and such a lovely person!!!!! Definitely looking forward to keep coming to this beautiful and amazing place any time we can!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!
7 friends and I stayed here for 3 nights and the property was incredible. The home was very cute but big enough to comfortably house us and the yard, creek, and other amenities were great!
Two old friends meeting up for a week of mountain biking around Sedona. This was the perfect spot to recover and decompress after a day of bike riding. Close enough to town to be convenient, but in a different universe in terms of silence and star gazing!
We truly enjoyed this property. The home was clean, had so much sweet character and the grounds next to the creek were amazing. April, the owner, was so welcoming and she has such a special family ranch. One of the best places we have spend time in.
This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. It was like having your own private park. Even though it was hot in Sedona the property stayed very cool. You could step into the creek to cool off or go for a swim in the pool. We sat by the creek every night and listened to the water. The WiFi and phone service are a little sketchy which was good for getting the boys off of their electronics. We would love to come again sometime.
I brought my kids, ages 2-11 so we could make a visit to sedona but also just relax and swim, and just get a way. We loved spending time in the pool, the playground, the grass and all the trees. April was extremely friendly, the house was stocked and ready for us. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely stay again!
Enjoyed the great location. House had everything we needed. Only little suggestion would be to either have shelves in closet, luggage racks, or somewhere other than the floor to put suitcases. Hostess was great.
I have rented the main house and the cabin multiple times. The property is amazing. On this trip, we saw deer hanging out in the creek. The yard is perfect for hanging out and games. The kitchen is stocked. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the host is super sweet.
This property was exactly what we hoped for for our city dwelling kids. There was so much to do outside and it was so beautiful and relaxing! We played in the creek (glad we brought water shoes) and in the treehouse and on the playground and in the pool! House was clean and cool and cozy and the owners were so hospitable! Great family get away.
We went for a long weekend for relaxation and rest. April is the best host. The property is quiet, remote, and lush. Great for a family oriented retreat. What a pleasure to find such a beautiful osis in the Arizona desert. Truly truly a riparian paradise.
We loved our stay here! Sitting in the trees and listening to the creek and the wildlife, it was magical. We mostly stayed in and relaxed, but did take a few hours to walk around Sedona, it’s only a 35 min drive. The hosts also left some extras in the fridge that were lifesavers, like eggs and milk and condiments. It’s not close to a store but that’s part of the charm. The wifi truly is spotty, but we were prepared for that and loved disconnecting and just sitting in the backyard, we’d love to stay again!
The property was very quiet and relaxing. The property needsto be updated. Dod not have enough air-conditioning and needed to have the house exterminated.Beds and couches werevey unconfortable. I am disappointed for the amou t of money we payed for this excursion.
We had a great stay over the weekend. Friends from Savannah, GA came to visit us in Arizona and we decided to go north to Sedona. Living and working in the southeastern corner of the state we don't make the trip north too often. Our friends visit motivated us to make the drive and experience the area. Due to some work and timing constraints, it was a 2 night stay for us. In our minds we were treating it like a scouting trip for a future larger/longer vacation. Man did we find a gem with this one.I have to say the stay at this property made the entire experience and traffic headaches worth every penny. The laid back serenity of the location coupled with the history of the area and family was exactly what I needed for a great mental reset. This home is large, but cozy on all fronts. It is very well appointed and has a few unique quirks that bring the charm to top level. April has done a wonderful job in maintaining the family homestead and amazingly (to me at least) is bold enough to open it up to perfect strangers to experience. After my morning 5 mile walk along the quiet country roads, Mary and I spent our first morning drinking coffee out by the creek. I really felt like I was at home. The home and its setting is a destination in itself and that's exactly how I plan to utilize it for our next planned outing to this area.I can't recommend the home enough. Thank you Ms April for and excellent weekend. We will certainly see you again soon!!!!
I could not be more pleased with our stay! The property was absolutely beautiful. The house had plenty of space and was fully stocked with everything we needed. The pool floaties and board games were an added bonus! We had planned activities elsewhere but found it hard to leave the property as there was so much to do! Thank you so much! I can't wait to come back
The grounds are beautiful, the house well equipped and comfortable and the owner was extremely responsive. We had so much fun playing in the pool and sitting by the river. This is a place to escape to and make memories.
Pros: We had a wonderful week at the J-T Ranch! The property is truly a magical oasis surrounded by mature trees and the sounds of the creek. The Creek House is one of a couple of places on the property and grounds are shared. The kids loved the lawn, playground, treehouse, and pool. Our kids spent hours running around and playing outside when it was over 100 degrees back home. There was also a great swimming hole only 5 minutes down the road! The hosts were very helpful.
Minor Cons: Spotty wifi and cell service. The satellite wifi is hit or miss and definitely could not accommodate video conferencing. The Creek House is very rustic, but we spent most of our time enjoying the outdoors. We also missed having laundry because we were there a week, but that's on us for not checking!
Beautiful property!!! Great place to relax. The owners were very accommodating. The children played all day, as we had a wedding to prepare for and attend. My daughter was getting married at Crescent Moon Park so this was a perfect weekend getaway. We enjoyed our stay so much we plan on making this a family annual summer getaway because it house us all perfectly. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax. We woke up to a family of deer right outside our window early in the morning, it was wonderful. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful ranch, we will be back.

Great hospitality!!
April is wonderful! We enjoyed our time on her ranch. It was peaceful, very serene and felt nice to relax and be off the grid. April was so hospitable, provided breakfast for us to make which was so nice cause there is no nearby grocery store. She even helped us problem solve when we were in a bind! Would definitely recommend her and her property!
