Spacious, quiet family flat with terrace and parking in the 18th Montmatre

Away from the streets, surrounded by gardens: no traffic noise, not even from low CCs motorbikes or lorries.
Comfortable flat with a generous lounge 6m x 5m , two bedrooms and the unusual luxury of a small private terrace/garden off every main room. Only 2 minutes walk from the Chateau Rouge metro, and less than 10 minutes on foot to the Sacre Coeur, this flat is a delight to come back to after a long day's sight-seeing around the fabulous city of Paris.
With two three seater-settees with cushions, back support and proper arm-rests, socialising around the coffee table is easy and comfortable.
A third three seater settee in the opposite corner opens up into a double bed if need be and causing no obstruction, can be left opened or not, according to the wishes of visitors.
Well separated from living quarters, accessed by small hall, the master bedroom has a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom with built in wardrobes (full bath, vanity sink, and WC). The second bedroom has twin beds and built in wardrobes. There is also a separate shower room with vanity sink. Second WC in the main hall.


You may arrive any time between 4pm and 9pm unless a different time has been agreed beforehand. Leaving time is by 11am unless a different arrangement has been mutually agreed.

Very nice apartment well equipped, communication with landlord was very good. If we have to add a little negative thing then it would be the surrounding area as the neighbourhood was not rich on cafe’s and restaurants.

This was a large space by Paris standards. The outside garden patio was an amazing way to start the day with a fresh coffee. Quiet building. Would rent again!

Apartment is well furnished, weii maintained and very clean. The only negative is the neighbors cat is not very social. Check-in process is great, communication with host is excellent, neighborhood is vibrant and bustling. Enjoyed our stayNo problems at all.

We were thrilled that this apartment became our "home-away-from" home during our recent family trip to Paris. Beautifully appointed and very comfortable for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers). The apartment, itself, was spacious and well-appointed with everything that we needed after a day of sight-seeing. The kitchen and laundry facilities were an added bonus for us, allowing us to make ourselves even more at home. Located in a very vibrant and interesting neighbourhood, close to shops and transportation.Francoise was such a gracious host, responding to questions very quickly. But we didn't have many questions as her welcome email to us was so thorough and thoughtful.

Perfect Paris!

The whole process from booking to checking out was straightforward and hassle-free. Any questions I had were answered promptly by the very helpful and friendly host. Location great for public transport and Monmartre sightseeing. Large, bright and very quiet apartment. Larger than most in Paris.

Calm Garden in the Center of 18th Arrondisment

Very easy check in, great location.. walk to a fantastic boulangerie, market across the street, coming home after a day of sight seeing, sitting on the pink plaid couch and looking out the window to the garden, the cool calm green. wonderful. well equipped kitchen, very comfortable apartment..

Lovely place in Paris

Wonderful apartment near a vibrant downtown community. Close to shops and the metro. Plenty of room for a family of five and plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze. We always had someone to connect with but the place was so well set up it wasn’t necessary. Highly recommended.

Gem in Goutte d'Or

The apartment is truly a gem - it is spacious, clean, well equipped, and has a view into an enclosed garden. Coming from Rue Poulet, it is hard to believe that this island of peace really exists. Check-in was easy and the communication excellent. We have never received a better description containing helpful tips (e.g. where to eat, where to shop) than the one Francoise sent (even before we arrived). The three of us (parents and our adult son) really enjoyed our 7-night stay.

Great place to stay!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The place was very clean and the property manager who checked us in was very kind, although there was a miscommunication on our arrival time so we ended up waiting about 30 minutes to be let in. There was also construction in the building starting at 8am on weekdays that forced up and out earlier than we may have wanted. Overall though we had a good experience, enjoyed the accessibility to local attractions, and would recommend this flat.

The location was really good and also great communication with the host. Plenty of room for all of us. The only thing is there is construction right next to this apartment and it starts at 8:30am and goes all day. We did have to work during the day so it was a little unfortunate- if we were only Sightseeing and happy to get up at 8:30, it would have been no problem!

Loved our stay

Super secure spacious flat, perfect for 4 adults. Massive rooms and the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever stayed at. Flat has a cute outdoor area for those moments you want to have coffee or wine on the patio. Dishwasher, washing machine and a dryer made life easy. There is a grocery store across the street and two larger ones a couple of blocks away for all of our needs. Two bakeries within a block made morning treats delectable. There are two metro stations within 6-7 minutes away (M4 and M12). The neighbourhood is evolving with lots of African produce stores and lots of people in the neighbourhood. Unlike some other comments, we always felt safe, even when coming home after dark and one night at midnight. Highly recommend this rental. Ample seating for 6 and a large dining table for 6 and lots of natural light.

Fantastic Spot for seeing Paris

Our family of 4 stayed here and had a great time. The Metro station and good-sized grocery store were within a 5-7 minute walk of the unit. We were easily able to jump the Metro and get to anywhere we needed. The unit has plenty of dishes, cookware and utensils. We made dinner a few nights and had breakfast every morning. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having the living room and couches to relax on in the evenings. They property manager was very communicative and accommodating. We truly appreciated her hospitality! We will be bookmarking this unit for a future visit!

Spacious, clean comfortable apartment

After spending 9 nights in a cramped London hotel, what a delightful pleasure it was to arrive at Goutte d’Ore. It has 2 nice bedrooms, what adds up to 2 full bathrooms and is in a vibrant, fun neighborhood. There are 2 Metros close by and a great grocery story right across the street. We, being old, couldn’t quite figure out the DVD player, but after contacting Francoise, a nice man came over the next day and explained the workings. It is a great Paris find!!!

Cozy apartment with character in a vibrant neighborhood

If you plan to drive to Paris just the garage that comes with the apartment is worth staying here! Also, it is about 10-15 minutes from the Periferique, so easy in and out… The neighborhood is super lively, with lots of local shops, activity, color. The boulangery is wonderful. We found the area vibrant and safe. Just busy… The check in is super efficient, we had the property manager walk us into the garage and show us the whole apartment. Including some local tips. Once inside, you’ll see a lot of charm and a cozy living / dining. While the kitchen is not glamorous (older cabinets), it has a brand new washer and everything you need to cook full meals (lots of pans, pots, plates, utensils, etc). Including things like salt and pepper, sugar, etc. The Nespresso maker was great… tons of books line the shelves. M4 and M12 are within a 5 minute walk, you are at Montmartre in 15 minutes and can easily find great and affordable food. Food comes in lots of variants, so be brave and try the African cuisines! Perfect for a family of 4 with 2 almost adult teenagers. Would definitely stay here again.

"Zum dritten Mal da – einfach perfekt!"Wir waren nun schon zum dritten Mal in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung – und es war wie immer perfekt!Der Empfang war wieder sehr herzlich und freundlich, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen.Die Wohnung selbst ist ruhig gelegen, ideal zum Entspannen nach einem Tag in der Stadt. Besonders schätzen wir die Garage im Haus – sicher, praktisch und ein echtes Plus in Paris!Auch die Lage ist einfach top: zentral, aber trotzdem ruhig, mit allem, was man braucht, in der Nähe.Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

What makes this property unique

Direct access to the outside was terribly important to me as was the fact that, surrounded by private and communal gardens, the flat was free of traffic noise, particularly in the early hours when lorries start delivering.
