My wife and I recently returned from a delightful stay at the Gathering House, a cabin that perfectly suited our cozy couple’s getaway.The cabin is spacious with a sense of being nestled right on top of the mountain. The cleanliness of the cabin was impeccable, and the host, Tim, was incredibly gracious and responsive to our every need.The cabin is pet-friendly, with a fenced-in yard for our furry friends. The kitchen may be small, but it’s equipped with all the comforts of home.We are now friends of the Haven, and we’re planning to return again. I wholeheartedly recommend this cabin and its host to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable getaway. You won’t be disappointed!10/10

It was a delight to stay in this cabin. It was the perfect relaxing get-away for just my husband and me. It was a very quiet location and the front porch was perfect for long mornings of coffee sipping and rocking in the rocking chairs. The cabin was very clean. To describe the clean floors...on the first night we went to wipe up some water that had splashed on the floor by the kitchen sink. When we went to wipe it up, there was, seriously, zero signs of dust or dirt that came up on that paper towel with the water. We were very impressed! The contactless check-in and check-out were effortless. The caretaker was wonderful to work with, very nice, and had excellent communication. Another impressive thing was the amount of towels and wash clothes. With no washer and dryer, this was something that concerned us. There were PLENTY there for our stay, which is a difficult thing to find in any cabin. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future! Five stars all the way!!

The cabin was a perfect size for two guests and a dog. Everything was clean and the little fenced in yard was perfect. It was a perfect location for quiet and still getting to town.

This cabin is so cozy and relaxing. Being at the end of the road there was total peace. The cabin is so nice and perfect for a couple and a pet, like us. The fences in yard was fantastic for our pug. Also, the owner was very nice, always responding to every question immediately. We are most definitely planning on returning.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time at the cabin with our 2 pups. The fenced in yard was wonderful. Super clean and very quaint. We had about a 25 minute drive to the Sugarlands entrance to the SMNP. would recommend staying here for a trip to the park!
