Luxury individual new 6 bed villa, situated high up on the Besparmak Mountain Range, high up in the Foothills of St Hilarion Castle, in the Beautiful Village of Karmi (Karaman) with fabulous views to the sea and Kyrenia Town. 5 mins walking distance from Karmi village and 10 mins drive to Kyrenia Harbour, the villa is 4 miles west of Kyrenia. There are different terrace levels for you to enjoy ‘al fresco’ eating or simply watching the sun go down with a cool drink. The kitchen has all mod appliances, dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. The villa is the right choice if you are seeking tranquillity and a peaceful holiday to totally chill out and unwind. Outside kitchen with BBQ and seating area. Villa garden is ablaze with many flowers and fig, lemon, orange, mandarin plum, apple, cherry, mulberry and olive trees. Northern Cyprus is one of the last unspoilt jewels in the Med and is worth visiting at any time of year. During July and August it can be very hot in Cyprus but the villa position on the mountain can be a little cooler. Spring erupts in a blaze of flowers in mid February and it is still possible to sunbathe and swim in the sea up to the end of November. There is plenty of flora and fauna to see and walkers will enjoy the many walks available.

Really nice spot away from the hustle and bustle and heat of the coast. Great for a family with a pool and walking distance to local restaurants and pubs. Would thoroughly recommend.

I am so glad you loved the villa, and I did try my very best to help you out with your many questions regarding the TV and A/C instructions each day, but its s shame you found the villa to be too far from Kyrenia. The distance is in fact, detailed very clearly in the villa description here on VRBO, i.e. "5 mins walking distance from Karmi village and 10 mins drive to Kyrenia Harbour, the villa is 4 miles west of Kyrenia". I hope you find something equally as nice but closer next time.

Exceptional Villa 5*

The photos really don’t do the villa justice, just the amount of space itself was amazing. The bedrooms are all very large with their own unique stylish en-suite’s. Excellent quality bedding and plenty of wardrobe space in each room The pool is large and beautiful views towards the coast, the sunrise at one end and sunset at the other. Great quality sunbeds round the pool which had sun on it all day and comfortable outside furniture in the shade if wanted. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly want or need. The icing on the cake was the separate BBQ area with dining facilities and even its own fridge. We had an amazing time and would give this villa 6* if it was possible If you’re looking for a relaxing comfortable stay look no further. Restaurant and bar within walking distance was an extra bonus.

Our month-long stay in this villa was a wonderful experience. The house was beautiful with amazing views of the sea and nearby castle. Would definitely stay again!

I work as an Independent Training Instructor in the Telecommunications Business providing Training Services on large telecom installations to many prestigious firms such as BBC, Met Police, Bank of England, DFT, Westminster City Council, BAA, T-Mobile, many large Councils and Universities across the UK and many more. My job involves a lot of travelling around the UK.

Why they chose this property

We visited Southern Cyprus for many years and first came to Northern Cyprus in 2004 and found it was so much nicer and this was where we wanted to buy a holiday home. We spent 2 years searching for a property and looked at many villas both off plan and partially built. We finally rented a villa nearby for our own holiday (try before you buy!) and fell in love with Karmi village, the position and views from this area, so decided we simply had to buy here! We wanted to have the best of all the key factors in the Kyrenia area, the spectacular views to both the mountains and the coast from the position of the villa, but also being close to Kyrenia, the harbour and the sea side, but also having the quiet area for total rest and relaxation. Our villa ticks all these boxes.

This is now our second villa in Karmi, we have built this new one across the road from the old one, with our disabled daughter in mind so everything she needs is on one level. Please contact me for more information about the accessibility of the villa for disabled.

What makes this property unique

I try to visit Cyprus as often as I can and managed to sneak out here 6 times last year. I keep thinking we should go somewhere else for a change, but something keeps bringing us back! I receive a lot of repeat bookings and recommendations from previous guests and everyone is always thrilled with the villa and the views. Some of my guests have returned 14 years running now and come back every year without even looking at going elsewhere. My aim is to ensure you have a great holiday in our villa in Cyprus and I will do all I can to ensure this happens. I will arrange everything you need, taxis, car hire, welcome packs etc and anything else you require to ensure you have a completely hassle free holiday. My housekeepers are also great friends of mine, and are on hand 24/7 to help out with any problems. Bon Voyage! Cheryl.
