About the host
Hosted by Chrissy Robertson

Little Nod has been owned by Mick and Sue Dollimore since December '99.
Sue sadly died in December 2020 from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and is very sadly missed. Having helped with Little Nod whilst Sue was ill, daughter Chrissy is now taking bookings and managing the property along with Mick.
Mick lives in Welcombe, just across the valley and usually does all the maintenance of Little Nod. Mick and Sue have always put so much love and care into looking after Little Nod and now Chrissy hopes to do so in the same vein. She grew up in the village and then owned and ran the village pub with husband Lee for 6 years until 2010. She lives nearby with Lee and their two boys. We all love this area and look forward to sharing it with you.

Why they chose this property
We love this unspoilt area of Devon and moved here in 1985. We have lived in Welcombe since 1994.
What makes this property unique
Welcombe is one of North Devon's best kept secrets. A remote but welcoming area, as the name suggests. The beach is beautiful with a small waterfall, rock pools and a stretch of sand at low tide. There is a small car park, or you can walk down the wooded valley which is crowded with wild flowers, especially in Springtime. The Old Smithy Inn is a minute walk away from Little Nod and great. There is a village shop which offers an ordering service and a lovely working pottery. There are lots of other walks in the village, as well as the one to the beach and the South West Coast Path is easily accessed. We have lots of information about walks and other local attractions, as well as maps and a tide table for your use.
We like to keep Little Nod to a high standard and love to make it welcoming and comfortable for all our guests. We had new carpets fitted throughout in April 2022.
Our regulars often describe it as their "home from home".
