Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our visit to Falmouth, the house was lovely, Falmouth is brilliant and Cornwall has loads to do. The house is one of our favourites and is really close to the town, beaches and great places to eat out. We had a great time.

Fabulous!

Holiday at 14 Fox's Lane

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bungalow is a delightful property and the location couldn't be bettered --- beach, town and railway station all within easy walking distance. The owners were very helpful and we were particularly grateful for our initial supplies and also the toys that were left for our granddaughter to play with. We would happily recommend this property to a friend or relative.

Super Stay!

We had a great time staying in this beautiful, well equipped bungalow with its lovely, spacious and enclosed garden. It didn’t seem like a holiday let at all so we felt very much at home from the word go! The location is perfect being so close to the beaches and town, plus there is so much to enjoy close by or without going too far afield! We would love to return and have already recommended it to a friend who is keen to holiday in Falmouth with her family next year.

Wonderful

We had an amazing week despite indifferent weather. The place is lovely with all the mod-cons you’d wish for. Location was unreal and less than 10 mins walk from beach and nearest supermarket. Martin and Caroline were perfect hosts. WiFi could be better but it did the job perfectly well. Highly recommend and we will definitely return. Thank you

Petit séjour en Cornouaille

La villa était un pied à terre idéal pour une famille de 3 enfants et 2 adultes . Confortable, bien équipée (quelques verres en plus seraient idéal) .quelques explications traduites en français nous auraient aidés… Nous avons appréciés les restaurants et le port avec les manœuvres des gros bateaux. les plages sont prêts de la location . Les jardins sont magnifiques et le château de St Mawés vaut la visite ! Prévoir une petite laine ! Très contents de notre séjour.

Lovely house in great location

The property is lovely, light and spacious and suited us well with two young children. It is brilliantly located within a short walk to town and the beach, which meant we frequently didn't need to use the car.

Fabulous

Unsere Familie (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) hat eine wunderbare Woche im Haus von Caroline verbracht. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und bietet genug Platz für vier Leute. Parkplatz, WLAN, Waschen, Kochen... alles kein Problem. Der Garten ist wunderschön, leider hatten wir mehr Regen als Sonne. Die Innenstadt ist wirklich nur 5 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt und ein Erlebniss. Man kann viel unternehmen: Hafen, Burg, Lands End, St.Michaels, St. Maves und vieles mehr sind (neben vielen anderen Shehenswürdigkeiten) als Tagestouren zu empfehlen. Die Reiseplanung und Kommunikation mit Caroline war immer sehr nett und produktiv. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an die nette Gastgeberin.

excellent location, great size property & garden

The location was perfect, 5 mins walk into town / beach; And All the tourists sights that we wanted to visited, were just 30 to 60 minutes drive away. The rooms in the property were a great size, all clean, modern and very comfortable. The garden was spacious, withlots of flowers/plants/tress - nice for relaxing in the evenings.

Lovely bungalow in a great location

We've just come back from a great holiday staying at this modern bungalow in a quiet location but still just a short walk from the town and beaches of falmouth. The bungalow was light and airy, clean and very well equipped. We were also spoilt for choice with the number of different good quality restaurants available from award winning fish and chips, South African, Italian and Caribbean. It's was nice to have days where we didn't have to use the car such as getting the ferry to tresslick and truro, walking to play crazy golf, or going to the cinema. Trebah gardens are only a short drive away, and then we drove a little further to praa Sands, st michaels mount, the lizard and kynance cove all about 40 minutes away. Thank you for letting us share your home from home.

A perfect retreat

Cannot rate this place enough! Quiet location yet only a short distance to the town and beaches. The house has everything you would ever need and is very clean and nicely decorated. Thank you for a wonderful stay and see you next year.

Fantastic family holuday home

Our family of five adults and our two year old grandson have had a great week at this wonderful holiday home in Falmouth. It has everything you could wish for and only five minutes walk from a lovely beach and ten minutes into town. Lovely quiet position with a perfect child friendly garden. Very spacious and comfortable with a great selection of books, games and toys. Many thanks for letting us enjoy your lovely home.

A beautiful property in an excellent location

We have just returned from a very relaxing week in Falmouth. As a party of five adults we found the property to be extremely spacious, well equipped, light and airy. It was a real bonus to have the beach, local attractions, restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance. We had an amazing lunch at Oliver's Restaurant and spent a memorable day at Trebah Gardens (the only time we used the car), both are definitely worth a visit. We have no hesitation in recommending this property and hope to visit again next year.

Lovely rental

We had a great holiday at this centrally located house. The house is lovely and light and airy with easy access to the garden and outdoor eating. We were lucky to have fantastic weather and make the most of the outside table and chairs. Everything in the house worked smoothly. We also loved the location. We know Falmouth very well and wanted easy access to the marina, and this location was perfect for that and for town. Many thanks

The property is our home which we have rented out for the last 9 summers. We have lived here for many years and have gradually renovated and extended the house over the years. The property offers a socially sustainable alternative to holidaying in Cornwall, as outside of the months of July and August it reverts to being our family home.

We love our house and garden, it's a brilliant place for a family holiday, everything is on your doorstep. Restaurants, bars and the beach are an easy walk away and you have the convenience of parking for 2 cars and a train station 5 minutes walk away.

Why they chose this property

We chose to live in Falmouth because it's the best town in Cornwall. We have 3 beaches, a vibrant bar and restaurant scene, museums and even a castle, all within walking distance.
If you want a holiday, that enables you to stay right in the middle of town, walk to the beaches, bars and restaurants, and enjoy a peaceful, sunny private garden this is definitely the property for you.

What makes this property unique

We haven't crammed in as many beds as we can do to maximise the price. The house is actually a 4 bedroom property but we have closed off one room to store all our stuff in. So you get feel of a larger house as the kitchen and sitting room reflect a 4 bed rather than a 3 bed.
