Great stay in Winchcombe

My husband, daughter & I had a great stay in this darling cottage! It was very clean, well appointed and in a great location to enjoy the area. We loved being able to walk to restaurants/pub, grocery, Sudeley Castle and even to catch a ride on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway (highly recommend). The parking is just a short walk away, very inexpensive & safe location!

Fantastic stay and Host!

Beautiful little cottage with a private garden area and fireplace. Ideal for a wander around the Cotswolds and nearby festivals! Host was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Lovely Cotswold Visit

Our stay was lovely. The cottage was clean and inviting. Despite the warm weather during our stay, with the windows open the house was well ventilated and we slept comfortably.

Second stay and just as good

The cottage is in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. It’s a home from home, beautifully designed, well equipped and comfortable. Bob is a great host with good communication. We hope to stay again very soon.

Perfect Little Place x

This very well situated and well appointed house is just perfect for a stay in the Cotswolds. The two bedrooms and two ensuites make this ideal for friends who are travelling together. Winchcombe is a delightful place. We will definitely stay here again, when we return to Winchcombe next year - fingers crossed it's still available!

Wonderful Winchcombe stay

Misty View is very well equipped and spacious, with both bedrooms having en-suites. The location is great, as so close to town centre, which is beautiful and larger than expected. The owners were very friendly and helpful with recommendations to ensure we had a lovely stay. We enjoyed suggested local walks and meals at recommended restaurants/pubs. We hope to return to see more of this beautiful region.

Very comfortable

There were only two of us but we enjoyed the luxury of a bathroom each. The house is very convenient for all facilities including parking and all restaurants and shops.

Everything we needed for our New Year's break!

The cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable for our 3 night stay. Everything you would need for a self catering mini break and more. Situated in a beautiful little village with a choice of country pubs for food or just a pint. Easy to find and access, the owners made a point of popping round to check all was ok - which it was - adding that personal touch. We will definitely stay here again - a great little find :)

Fantastic house with an even better location

Wish I could give location & neighborhood 6 starts. Nicely laid out house smack in the middle of town and less than a minute walk to the car park where almost all of the Winchcombe walks start their walks from. Checkin / checkout process was easy, and everything was spotless when we arrived. Our weather was fantastic so we didn't need the fireplace or clothes dryer, but great to know they were there if necessary.

Perfect Break

Lovely property in the heart of Winchcombe. A real bonus to have 2 ensuite bathrooms. Parking is 50 yds away. Has everything you need including wood for the fire, salt, pepper and oil, dishwasher tablets, etc. Highly recommended.

Xmas to remember

From the easy check in, to the contact of host to ask anything this was a joyous stay. Property exactly as pictures but even cosier. Lovely log burner but unfortunately didn’t use as very mild Xmas. Kitchen has everything you may need as utensils tea towels cloths etc. Would recommend to anyone. High st turn left 30 seconds and your there. Pub to recommend The lion inn, left onto high st then turn next left, a little up on the right.

Fantastic Cottage

Misty View, located in Winchcombe, is perfect for touring the Cotswolds. You’re in a small town that has shops and amenities but isn’t overrun with tourists. All the famous places, such as Stow-on-the-Wold and the Slaughters are a short drive away. Our hosts, Bob and Debbie, were wonderful—-even coming over to tell us good-bye.

Fabulous Place

This is just a great little place, and and is perfect for a Cotswold adventure. We have been here 3 times and simply can't recommend it highly enough. The location is perfect for restaurants and for lovely walks.

Excellent location, cosy cottage with all essentials supplied. Owner came to introduce himself and offered any assistance. Parking at nearly carpark satisfactory although a shame that you can't park outside property. Only omission re information was there was no apparent info or recycling facilities. Definitely would recommend and return. Thank you

Why they chose this property

Misty View is on a quiet lane, 2 minutes walk from the centre if this charming and vibrant town, and 5 minutes from some of the best walking in England.
The cottage has beamed ceilings, stone floors, lots of character, yet it is cosy and warm. A "home from home" is how many of our previous guest describe it. We operate a strict Covid 19 cleaning protocol for guest safety.
