This house is a great spot in a terrific location. It’s very comfortable, and well outfitted. It’s right on mission beach and has a wonderful patio that is perfect for people and sunset watching. Jim is very responsive to any issues. We loved our stay there in every way and highly recommend it.

Our stay was wonderful. Week days are, right now, far less busy than weekends, which we loved. The view was spectacular and the short walk down to local restaurants and the amusement park was a treat.

This property is a solid 4/5 stars. Some upgrades to the narrow kitchen made the overall appearance a little more modern, but it is still a bit dated in an almost charming kind of way. Pros: ocean front location just south of Belmont Park, private garage, patio for morning coffee and evening cocktails, walkable to restaurants and a short drive to Gaslamp, airport, La Jolla, Sea World, zoo, and many other attractions. Cons; non functional door locks, dirty bathroom vents. Be sure to check out San Diego Speed Boat Adventures. It was the highlight of our trip!

The location was absolutely perfect. The large windows or the patio make ocean viewing very easy. When we arrived there was no garage door opener so we called the owner. He was on site in minutes with a replacement. That being said, the place good use some updating. The front screen door is in bad repair, some of the woodwork is pretty banged up and there are other small items that need attention. All in all, a good place to stay at Mission Beach
