Licence awarded. EH-68085-F Thistle Street built in 1780 is the oldest Street in the New Town of Edinburgh. This spacious boutique one bedroom apartment sleeps two adults and one infant. It is centrally located with artisan shops and restaurants on the doorstep. All the delights and wonders of Edinburgh can be reached within walking distance. Both the train and bus station is but a mere 5 minutes walk away including airport bus/tram service. The apartment has WIFI, and modern amenities.

You really couldn't be any more central and convenient for a wonderful visit to Edinburgh.

This was a wonderful flat in a great location. Perfect for a few days in Edinburgh.

Nicely furnished and very clean. Great space. The owners did extra small things to make the stay easier and special (coffee, milk and cereals were there). Lots of restaurants, pubs, etc close by. Very charming. Loved the stay and will definitely consider it again.

Lovely, well situated apartment

The property is in a great area which is quiet but within easy reach of everything Edinburgh has to offer. The apartment is clean and is beautifully decorated with everything you could need for a short or long stay. Craig and Catherine were very helpful with any queries and next time we stay in Edinburgh we will look no further than their property.

This flat is a true home away from home. Everything you need (and more!). Communication with owner was prompt and they offered very helpful advice on how to get there as well as restaurant recommendations. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Charming Apartment in New Town

Craig and Catherine are wonderful hosts! Apartment is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. The kitchen provided a small washer/dryer and all necessary appliances. A well stocked bar with an Honesty box was a welcome sight after travel. Great restaurants on Thistle street away from the busy-ness of Royal Mile.

Perfect spot

My friend and I are traveling together and while we had to share a bed, it was big enough for two of us to spread out. The place was cute and comfy. I couldn't figure out the hot water and the owners responded to me right away. The coffee roaster across the street was so good and the staff super friendly. Angela

Perfect Location, Beautiful Apartment

Our 4th trip to Edinburgh, this was by far our favorite place we’ve stayed. Attractively decorated and thoughtfully furnished, this light and airy apartment felt like home away from home. Location could not be better, and hosts, Catherine and Craig, were the best. We managed to lock ourselves out of the flat the first day, and even though they were out of town with family, they responded immediately and solved the problem quickly. We’ve already decided this lovely flat will be our first choice in the future!

Queen's garden puts this place over the top

The apartment was lovely to look at and a great place for a short or a long stay. - The bedroom had an amazing amount of storage - a whole wall of modern closets with drawers. - The kitchen had everything we needed including some basic staples for cooking - Having a living room and dining room space was perfect for us. - Looking out the windows and seeing the afterglow of the sunset at 10:30 pm was mesmerizing. What put this place over the top is access to the private garden! It is park-like and we only saw one other person using it the whole time we were there.

Great stay!

Nice property! Bathroom could use some attention. Toilet seat was loose on one side and shower screen was not attached at bottom edge to tub. The bathroom fan runs only occasionally. The “ bar” is a great idea as is the honesty jar.😊

Ruhige Lage, trotzdem zentral. Mit vielen Bars, Restaurants (Thai: Dusit) und kleinen Geschäften. Gutes Internet, bequeme Betten, sehr sauber. Eine große Wohnung im 2. Stock. Sehr lohnenswert.

Excellent stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this apartment and it was as good as last time. Craig and Catherine are great at answering any questions. The apartment is lovely and clean and very handy to explore all of Edinburgh on foot. We will be staying again!!

What a great place/stay

Spent three nights here as part of our holiday. Was a wonderful stay! Owners went above and beyond in their communication, the apartment was exactly as described, and the "honor bar" was a nice touch (even though we didn't use it!). The access to the private garden was wonderful (and the weather cooperated as well). Both my wife and I have said we would love to come back at some point. That's how much we loved our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great and easy to get anywhere you want to go! The apartment was exactly like the pictures and everything was working great. The owner was easy to reach with any questions we had. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to Edinburgh.

Comfortable apartment in a great location

We enjoyed our stay. The check in instructions were easy to follow and the rooms were as we expected. We took advantage of the coffee and milk provided. The location is ideal to sightsee and grab a nice dinner. We ate at Cafe St Honore and the Bon Vivant companion nearby. We did take out from the rustica as well. There is a little street noise. We used earplugs to help us recover from jet lag. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bathroom is really missing a shelf; but that's a small complaint. Everything was clean and the light in the apartment was nice even on cloudy days.

A great vacation location in central Edinburgh

My wife and I spent a week visiting Edinburgh at the end of October. We rented the apartment offered by Craig and Catherine. The apartment was clean and well supplied with everything needed for an extended visit. The owners even left a supply of milk, wine and spirits for a very pleasant arrival. The bed room was quiet even though the apartment is on a street with loads of great restaurants and shops. Craig made sure we had a good list of suggestions for our vacation, sights to see, food to eat, how to get around the city. We highly recommend the apartment and will come back if our vacation plans bring us back to Edinburgh. The apartment is a 10 walk to Waverly Train Station and tourist information, 5 minutes to the central bus station, 5 minutes to grocery shops and 1 minute from a great Thai restaurant. Most of the tourist sites in the city are easily accessible by local bus, purchase an all day ticket for 4 pounds / person.

Beautiful apartment, close to everything you would need.

Just returned after a long weekend staying in this lovely apartment. This was our first visit to Edinburgh and the apartment owners could not have been more informative about places to go, restaurants etc. Great communication before and throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this beautiful place. It’s perfectly located to get you anywhere in the city. Would like to come again but our son would not like it if we went without him again lol. Thank you again.

Great apartment in a great location

Enjoyed a great short break in Edinburgh in this cracking apartment. The apartment is very nice, plenty of room and really well furnished. In a great location in a really nice part of the City, its an easy walk to most of the main attractions and has loads of restaurants, cafes and bars within a 5-10 minute walk. Would highly recommend staying here!

Very pretty, well-furnished, safe apartment in a great location

We were in Edinburgh for two nights at the start of a trip to Europe. The apartment was easy to get to by taking a tram from the airport, and was just a few blocks away from the tram stop. It was in a very nice area that felt very safe. We were impressed right away by how pretty it was and all of the nice features and amenities inside. We enjoyed the live orchids and succulents as a nice added touch. The owners provided great suggestions for things to do and places to eat around the area. The overall location was great- we walked everywhere around Edinburgh during our stay and had no need for transport other than the tram to/from the airport. Would definitely love to stay here again!
