Andros Cyclades, private tennis & basketball courts,horses for riding

The house of 230 sq. meters seats on top of the plot offering en suite accommodation for 4 bedrooms in the main building and 2 guest rooms in an annex. There is also separate accommodation for domestic stuff.
There are 7 bathrooms one for each room and two others one for guests and one in the pool area.
Two fully equipped kitchens are one in each level and a dinning area with a 10 persons table.
A tennis court as well as a 5 X 5 football court and a single basketball court (tartan), are in the property.
A swimming pool 15 X 5 is in the main terrace of the house offering a fantastic view is available.
A big stable with 3 horses for riding are there and possibility to have a local guide for your rides around!!
Leisure : Four museums are in Andros Chora which you can access very easy from the property , only 2 Km away.
For you who like trekking there are 25 walking ancient trails totally renewed and cleaned available.
As all Cyclades, Andros is the island of the Meltems between mid July and mid August, perfect for wind surfing.

Extra Services: The maid service as well as the change of linen and towels are twice per week. Extra service on the above per request.

Gorgeous villa

The property is amazing with stunning views. The villa is large, spacious with plenty of amenities and seating. We all had a fabulous holiday here. The children loved the pool and the tennis and basketball courts. Stavros was a great host, he really helped us get organised and it was lovely to meet him! The walk down to the town needs thick soled shoes so you dont feel the cobbles too much. The walk back is steep but doable or we just got taxis back up from the taxi rank in the town, especially when it was dark with the children. We were 3 families who are all friends- 6 adults and 5 children and all thought the pictures do not show just how really lovely this villa is. Andros is a great island to visit!

A beautiful villa with stunning views

Andros is a stunningly beautiful island and the villa offered all the amenities you could hope for. The pool was fabulous and the outside area was very spacious. The basketball and tennis courts were in good condition and offered us the opportunity to have an active holiday. Stavros was very welcoming and offered useful advice and support so that we could see the best of the island. The barbecue area was superb and we particularly loved the ice machine. There was a blood moon during our stay and watching it for the balcony was magical. We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and would definitely recommend Villa Nikh.

Great for a family getaway

We stayed at the Villa for a family holiday with children, teens and grandparents. The pool and the outside area is perfect for a big group where people may want to find their own spaces to relax in the sun. All of the bedrooms are lovely with clean white bedding and comfortable mattresses. We didn’t hire a car but enjoyed the walk into town each day and taxis are easily available for coming back with shopping. There are some lovely places to eat and drink in Chora. It’s a pretty town and if you want to explore the island, the bus from the station in town was a cheap option. Stavros was kind enough to arrange a taxi for us when we first arrived at Gavrio. It’s a quiet and beautiful place. Definitely worth the extra effort to travel to Andros rather than the busier islands.

Stunning and Practical

Had a fantastic stay in this villa with my extended family. The whole place is beautiful and with lovely views. I particularly appreciated how family friendly it is - my daughter loved the playhouse, there was a whole cupboard of kid's crockery, easy to do laundry on site etc. Although there are lots of areas of the site you wouldn't want young kids wandering around unsupervised (some big drops and slightly rusty play equipment as well as the pool, of course). Stavros was very responsive and helpful, and the whole experience was very low effort. The only disappointment was we didn't go on a horse ride as it turned out to be very expensive.

Amazing!

Stavros and the onsite staff were very kind and helpful to our family of 12 that spanned 3 generations for our 1 week stay to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. The views and amenities of the property were incredible! It was huge with 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a huge pool, tons of outdoor seating on the huge deck, sports courts, etc. Renting a car on the island was challenging, and Stavros was very helpful in arranging it for us. The driving is insane and stressful, but cars are a must for getting around (especially with elderly family). He also arranged a wonderful lady to cook homemade Greek food for us twice, and it was delicious. We had lots of requests (we have some high maintenance relatives), and Stavros and the onsite team were responsive and wonderful. For Americans, please note that the island is chill and not always on time, so be patient and trusting and know everything will work out. Also, we were eaten alive by mosquitos so bring/buy repellant. Thank you, Stavros and team for an incredible trip for our entire family. The Greek islands are so beautiful, and we were grateful to stay at your house!

Simply Magical

Stavros' villa is perhaps the most comfortable and well-appointed I've ever stayed in. Aside from everyone having their own space and bathroom, there were lots of lovely touches like a picturesque barbecue area and multi-zone stereo system, not to mention fantastic pool, tennis and basketball courts. And did I mention the jaw-dropping views? The house is an ideal base from which a large party can explore the amazing island of Andros. We ended up taking advantage of these amenities more than I’d anticipated—e.g. playing tennis under flood lights on several occasions well into the night—but that's how vacations go, I guess. You don’t quite know what direction they will go. The lovely thing about this island and this place is that they are so versatile and there is so much to offer you’re bound to happen upon the kind of moments that you do all this for in the first place. Our magical moments included a hike from St. Nikolaos monetary to an uninhabited Achla beach, a horse ride to the beach of Paraporti, a walk from the house to Andros’ fascinating maritime and modern art museums, tasting wine in a vineyard next to the property, dancing into the night at a rocking street festival in Menites and barbecuing through the day at the house on the August 15th Panagia holiday. Many of these experiences Stavros helped us to organize or organized on our behalf. All of them made our time here something we will long remember. It was truly magical and I hope to return again sometime soon.

Family vacation on Andros

We booked the house for a two week family vacation (aged between 7 and 80). Andros is a beautiful island, and we loved the small town with the central promenade. We appreciated that there were not many tourists. During our stay, we went on a boat trip to visit more inaccessible beaches, which can be recommended. It was quite windy on the island but overall a positive feature in the heat. The house’s location was fantastic. It was a bit away from Andros town, not too far but enough to offer a fantastic view of the sea and town. Many in our group walked to and from town daily. The terrain and incline made it difficult for the elderly. The pool was large and had a good depth for diving. The outdoor area was overall fantastic. The house was nice and clean and the house was cleaned every other day during our stay. The beds were a bit hard. The soccer field and basketball court were good but somewhat worn, and there were leaves and branches in the corners. When we arrived at the house, we discovered tiny ants on the floor and in the beds, and we contacted and showed this to the host. The host couldn’t address the problem immediately due to the time of day and came and sprayed twice the next day. However, the host pointed out to us that we were complaining because of a few ants. During our stay in the house, we had problems with the refrigerator and the owner had to come and defrost it. The washing machine did not work for the last few days.

Super séjour

Très grande villa, très agréable à vivre, les intérieurs sont parfait À quelques minutes du village d’Andros. Très grande piscine dont la vue sur la baie est superbe. Les extérieurs sont spacieux et très agréables. Les terrains de Basket et de Tennis font la joie des sportifs et même des débutants. De plus, le propriétaire Stavros est charmant et très à l’écoute Je recommande vivement…..!!!!

An Absolute Jewel

Stavros' property is absolutely spectacular! The house and grounds are stunning, with sweeping views over Chora town and the hills. The house was spotlessly clean and we were spoiled with Daniella coming by every other day to keep things tidy. The beds were extremely comfortable, with high quality bed linens and towels. The bedrooms all opened up to the pool and it was lovely to fall asleep to the view of the pool with the moon behind it. The kitchen is well stocked with tons of cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans for those who are looking to cook. The outdoor kitchen is also well stocked and is amazing! A great gas BBQ and a stove, sink, fridge, etc. was waiting for us so there is no need to heat up the house. The kids especially loved the Commerical ice maker. :-) Our children played tennis and basketball every day while we enjoyed lounging on the couch by the pool. It was often difficult to drag ourselves away and head to the beach. The area has a ton of spectacular beaches. It is a lot windier on the northern side of the island, but we were thankful for it with the warm temperatures. The house offers amazing value for money considering that other islands are a lot more expensive. Overall we loved Andros. It's a lot quieter than other islands so beaches weren't too crowded, which we loved. We had amazing food all week with excellent value for money. Stavros and his entire team were at the ready to assist us at every turn. I couldn't ask for a better host. We have absolutely zero complaints about the house and would book it in a heartbeat again. Ευχαριστώ for a spectacular week!

Maison d’exception dans site remarquable

Très grande maison luxueuse conçue pour tous les goûts: plages à proximité, tennis, basket, lieux culturels et surtout une vue époustouflante sur la baie d’Andros. Le propriétaire francophile est charmant et disponible. C’est une chance incroyable d’avoir pu séjourner dans cette maison dont on voudrait garder l’adresse secrète !

Stavros was great to communicate with and could not do enough, great property!

We stayed as 2 families this is a quality property with fantastic pool and location. Views are great and very private but still only 20 mins walk/4min drive to beach. Plenty of very nice restaurants in Andros. Stavros the owner was very helpful and comms were good from booking to leaving. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful view, outdoor area, and location to Chora Andros

My family had a relaxing stay for one week on Andros. The location of the house was perfect, 10 minutes to Chora Andros, 5 minutes to beautiful Piso Gialla Beach, and an amazing pool area and view of the Chora, ocean, and mountains. We all enjoyed viewing the stars each night and watching the moon rise above the ocean. We did find the bedrooms and bathrooms quite small and outdated. We also couldn't use the dishwasher as it would shut off the power to the house and the listed basketball and tennis courts were also unusable and needed repair. That being said, the host was very hospitable, the wi-fi was dependable, and the outdoor areas, views and location were better than expected.

Spectacular pool & tennis and great house

The pool and tennis court kept our group very happy. We loved the 25 minute walk down ancient walkways to the beach and town too.

Wonderful villa on Andros

This is a wonderful villa overlooking the town of Andros and the Aegean . Our extended family of 10 had a great stay there in August 2019, spending about half our time at the villa, swimming in the beautiful pool or playing basketball and tennis. The other half of our time was spent either walking into the town of Andros, or exploring the island and its other beaches. The owner of the villa, Stavros, was very responsive and helpful. He arranged for a couple of minor problems in the villa to be fixed promptly, and even arranged for a horse riding trip from the villa. The villa itself is generously proportioned, so we could sit together in clusters to read or talk, or find private separate spaces if that’s what we preferred. We all particularly loved the pool and spent much of our time there. We also used both the indoor and the outdoor kitchens. On one of our favourite nights, members of our family prepared an elegant dinner that we ate outdoors at the table near the outdoor kitchen. It was magical.

Great house with amazing views

I took my family for a special birthday celebration there 11 of us which included 6 grandchildren from 13-24 & all had a great time. It is a bit of a trek to get there but all the Greek islands are but well worth it when you get there. The photos don’t even don’t even do the views justice, they’re amazing from sunrise to sunset, what a spot! What a wonderful holiday we had from start to finish! Stavros is such a great guy and couldn’t have be more helpful. I was getting a bit worried about all the travel arrangements that needed arranging including booking the ferry for all of us but he did it all . He even said to call anytime if wanted to know anything even while He was on holiday. From start to finish he met us at the airport before he went on his holiday & arranged all transport for us, even hiring a car in Andros if you. Really anything you want he can arrange, nothing is too much trouble & speaks great English which I was very grateful for! Everyone had a great time, definitely no board teenagers who spent most of their time from swimming in the fantastic pool, playing basket ball or tennis ( flood lit also ) to all playing cards. He even arranged for us to have a authentic Greek meal made for us so didn’t need to cook & can even get Pizza’s delivered if want. The town nearby is really quaint with some lovely shops & places to eat & drink which you can walk to but is a bit steep but keeps you fit so you could have a good time just staying at the house but need a car to do the supermarket shops ( unless you get a taxi) which are only about 10 minutes away for a large one. I would love to go there again & recommend it to anyone 😎

Great family holiday house with fantastic support

We stayed here for a week with 10 people including young children and had the best time. Stavros helped us with things that he didn't need to (taxi and ferry logistics) and was always available on the phone when we needed something, so made everything much easier. The rooms were all clean and spacious with good air conditioning and comfortable beds. The pool was a great temperature and cleaned every day (as was the house, at a time that suited us) and we were able to enjoy the tennis court as there were rackets and balls available for us to use. Fantastic views and only 5-10mins to some great beaches and also the town centre (you need your own car). I would highly recommend staying here for a large family/friends holiday

Fabulous villa with wonderful views, a good-sized pool. The owner was very helpful.

The villa has several different areas for relaxing so we didn’t feel on top of each other. It is very well-appointed with everything you might need. We all enjoyed playing tennis and cooling off in the pool. Although you can walk into town, it’s a steep walk back so a car is recommended.

Wunderbares, grosszügiges, perfekt unterhaltenes Haus mit phantastischen Aussicht und Möglichkeiten

Einrichtung, Anlage und Lage dieser Traumvilla sind schlicht einmalig und wir haben mit unserer "Grossfamilie" von acht Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern bis acht Jahren mehr als genug Platz gehabt und perfekte Verhältnisse gehabt. Stavros, der Besitzer, hat uns sehr gute Tips für Einkaufen und Restaurants gegeben und die mindestens zweitägliche Unterstützung durch die Haushälterin und den Hauswart ist sehr freundlich, bis und mit Eiern von den eigenen Hühnern! Toll, sehr empfehlenswert, auch für gehobene Ansprüche. Danke an Stavros und seine Mitarbeiter für einen denkwürdigen Aufenthalt in Andros!

Unbelievable villa! A true find! We never left it!

We are two families with 6 kids between us aged 8-13. When we arrived at the villa, we all couldn't stop giggling because it was so incredible. The photos do not do it justice at all. You are blown away by the sweeping views as you enter the terrace balcony, which is so much bigger than the pictures depict. There are so many social areas outside, three big group dinning tables, a social couch area, and all the sunbeds too. There were endless bedrooms, an the kids all took turns swapping. The ones in the basement are dark and the kids loved those, which is great, as it left practically 5 bedrooms upstairs for the adults to enjoy. There are 4 bedrooms with views of the pool and the vista outside. Our favourite part of the day was opening the shutters in the morning, lying in bed, and watching the sun rise above our views and pool. Then after breakfast, it was hard to tear ourselves away from relaxing by the pool. As a result, we only went to the beach a handful of times. The close beach called Piso Giali was our favorite. Small beach bar, small beach cove with crystal clear waters. The tavern above it (Barberos) was terrific. Stavros was terrific, always at hand to answer all our questions. He even organised a nice excursion for the kids to visit some horses and farm animals... A nice surprise too was the help which came to make beds and sweep up a bit everyday! The kitchen is fully equipped with enough large cooking utensils to feed a tribe. We had so much fun on the 1/2 court basketball court in the evenings, nce we worked out how to put the flood lights on, and same with the tennis court. There is so much of Andros we did not explore (I blame the great villa for that), we will definitely come again. The weather was amazing in mid September.

A beautiful villa with outstanding views of Chora and the surrounding bay.

The villa is large and well-equipped but is starting to look a little tired. The swimming pool is fantastic but the tennis court and surrounding gardens would benefit from some tlc. Although the villa is close to Chora, a hire-car is recommended as the walk to town is rugged and steep in places. Deb and Danielle were polite, courteous and very helpful throughout our stay. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are very grateful to have had use of such a magnificent villa.

Fantastic large house for a family holiday on an unknown but brilliant Greek island

We returned yesterday from a blissful 14 day stay at Villa Nikh on the fantastic Greek island of Andros, just 2 hours from Athens by ferry. We were a party of 9 made up of children (aged 13 and 16) and adults ranging in age from 19 to 80 and we all had a hugely enjoyable time. The accommodation is generous as described in the details and the house itself is far more spacious than you can gauge from the photos or description. There are numerous shaded areas to eat, sleep or relax in and a huge area by the pool to lie out in the sun in if you wish. The pool itself is spectacular, long and deep in one end to satisfy even the most acrobatic divers and easily long enough to exercise properly in or play games in. There are numerous outside eating areas - we particularly liked the barbecue room with it's own beer fridge, icemaker, bread / pizza oven and choice of charcoal or gas barbecues. This outside part of the house also has 2 sitting areas suitable for at least 9 but easily 12 people. It is a great space and one that we would love to replicate at home if we could! There is a basketball court and an excellent tennis court which was used daily. Both courts have floodlights (as does the pool) so if it's too hot in the day you can still play at night. There are balls and rackets at the house along with flippers for the pool. As other reviewers have said one thing that really makes the house unique is its owner Stavros. He really helped make the holiday special right from our first contact and he was able to help with so many things - taxi bookings, information on ferries, recommendations for beaches and restaurants and he even made sure that we had refreshments for our late evening arrival. He was clearly very keen to make sure that we had the best stay that we possibly could and he definitely succeeded. The house is on a hill overlooking the lovely capital of Andros, Chora. The view from the house over Chora bay is just spectacular and you never get tired of waking up, wandering over by the pool and looking down at the beach and town. The whole island is hilly so car hire is essential if you plan to explore and the walk in to Chora from the house is not far (15 minutes) but was a little too steep for the older members of our party. To summarise, the best holiday house I have ever stayed in (there have been a few) on a great island with a caring and considerate owner.
