Hidden cottage
We stayed here in late January and the weather was good my husband a I stayed in the out building away from the main building.
We could have had more towels and easier controls for the central heating, the electric radiator in the bathroom didn't work and having just one towel each made bathing an issue, also there wasn't any hair dryer in the annex.
The garden was great for the dog as it was completely enclosed.
The main house was good for all the family, and great dog friendly pub just a walk away. The beaches were fabulous and within walking distance from the house.

Dear Maureen,
Many thanks for your kind review.
We have passed your comments on to the owner.
This can be invaluable as sometimes unless things are reported to us or an owner as being faulty, we are unaware that things need dealing with.
We are glad you did enjoy the cottage and i hope we can welcome you back to Norfolk soon.
The property was ideal for a short family break. Well located for access to Brancaster beach (15min walk) and a short drive from Holkham and Market Burnham. Nice property, well decorated and clean. The annex was ideal to give a little more privacy/space.

Excellent property and location
Perfect place for a week’s bird watching and touristing along the North Norfolk coast. Very well equipped and super comfortable. Even more spacious than it looked in the photos. The separate cabin bedroom/bathroom in the garden suited our family set-up completely and is so well done it felt like part of the cottage. Highly recommended.

Charming but a bit tired ijn places!
Stayed here before; love the location, the house and its facilities.
However this time round, the house was a little shabby. Windows, floors, fridge, cooker all needed a good, really good clean. Garden looked tired. All of the above really do make a difference and on his occasion the property was not good value for money. It’s a shame.

Hidden gem
We stayed at Hidden House last year and returned because the property is perfect for our needs. It’s close to the beach
For walking with our dog and to a great pub. It’s also a perfect spot for visiting other places, including Holt, Holkham and Wells.
This year, we we struck by the fact that the property didn’t look as if it had been cleaned adequately. There was a lot of debris
On the floors and some interesting brown stains in both toilets, which we bleached. We slept well, the bed was comfortable .
It would have been helpful if some hand wash had been provided. Check in is after four and you have to check out by ten -
So You don’t get 7 days ( more like six) if you book for a week. We had a great time!

Thank you for your review of Hidden House. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay as it's a wonderful getaway in a great position.
We are sorry to hear that the level of cleanliness did not meet the high standards we expect. Had we been aware of this at the time of your stay, we would have been more than happy to request for the housekeepers to return. We have also passed on your feedback regarding the provision of handwash as this is something we do recommend to our homeowners.
We hope to be able to welcome you back to Norfolk again soon.

Nice property in a great location
A very comfortable house nicely tucked away from the main road.
Plus points:
Good quality beds, duvets and pillows
Well equipped with good quality cutlery, crockery, pans etc.
excellent open plan layout with great views on to the garden
plenty of drawer storage for clothes
Restful decor with nice artwork on walls
Niggles:
Property could do with a more thorough clean between lets as wooden floors were dirty and some crockery and pans needed washing before use. Also the windows were in need of a good wash.
Wardrobe space very limited.
wash basket and indoor clothes airer would be a plus.
A guest book where comments and recommendations from users on local area would be useful.

Lovely property ... But a few issues
Lovely property lovely location . There was a problem with the cleanliness and a few other niggles but I am sure this will be sorted out as it is ideal for extended families with the annexe accommodation and close proximity to the beach.

Hidden luxury
Hidden House was perfect for our needs. Located a stones throw from the sea and close to local amenities, including the tremendous Ship Hotel pub. The house and annexe were spotlessly clean and finished to a very high standard in terms of decor. It was just what we needed.
