About this property

Typical villa, nearby beach, private pool, tropical garden.

Located in a quiet and secure area, not far from the beach: about 10 minutes on foot, all amenities are nearby, vehicle not necessary. The swimming pool is private and surrounded by a 1000m2 tropical garden with many coconut, palm, flamboyant, banana, tropical flowers.
The maintenance of the swimming pool and the garden is ensured by our staff as well as the daily cleaning (Except Sunday). In our absence, it is a French woman living in the neighboring villa who takes care of the management of our villa as well as the reception of vacationers, she is listening to them during their stay. She can organize the transfer from the airport to the villa and give a lot of advice because she knows the area well.

Great Location

House was within 5-10 minute walk to everything in the village. Great beaches and restaurants close by. House is dated but has lots of character. It was clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. Kitchen counters are not in good shape and could use an upgrade. A small microwave would also be a great addition. The garden area around the house is in need of attention. The outside grill was not useable. Power was off for 16 hours in the village due to a fallen tree. The house has no back up power system available. Marine, the property manager, was great. She was very friendly and helpful and was quick to respond to whatever we needed during our stay.

Merci a Marine pour son acceuil excellent, la maison est un havre de paix confortable et tres bien équipée dans un ecrin de verdure ou se love une piscine propre ,privé,et rafraîchissante...et apres avoir fait le tour du pays, la presque ile de Samana est a notre avis le plus bel endroit de la republique Dominicaine...

Ein wirklich sehr empfehlenswerter Ort. Zentral im Ort und doch ruhig gelegen. Der Garten exotisch angelegt. Die Villa im Taino Stil mit viel Kunst und Geschmack ausgestattet. Hat zum Objekt passende Patina - nichts für moderne Perfektionisten. Uns hat das sehr gut gefallen. Hausreinigung drei Mal wöchentlich und Poolservice waren inclusive. Wir hatten das Haus für vier Wochen gebucht. Nach zwei Wochen wurden wir Zeugen des Hurricans Fiona in dessen Folge Infrastrukturen stark in Mitleidenschaft geraten waren. Die Strom-und damit auch die Wasserversorgung des Hauses waren unterbrochen. Da hier ein längerfristiges Problem entstanden war, organisierte die Verwalterin Marine für uns vor Ort als Ersatz ein anderes Haus in gleicher Lage. Alles lief ohne Problem vonstatten wofür wir uns auf diesem Weg nochmals besonders bedanken.

A Perfect anniversary getaway

We enjoyed every minute of our time at this perfect getaway place, Time at the house, in the pool and around town. Only a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach. There are many eating options for breakfast lunch or dinner. We enjoyed every evening eating at the different restaurants on the beach while watching the sunset. Las Terranes is a must see place. No worries about how to get there. Taxi is available if you like comfort, but the bus is an easy and great option if you like local culture and is much cheaper. Enjoy

Cottage très mal entretenu, cuisine et salle de bains non hygiénique

Le mur extérieur de cette cabane ne fait qu’un mètre de haut ce qui fait que les gens qui passent peuvent vous voir dans la piscine. Globalement le lieu est très mal entretenu, surtout la cuisine et les salles de bain qui sont choquant par temps ‘normal’ et encore plus dans ce temps de Covid. Les saladiers et les planches à découper sont noires de moisissures et de saleté – le lieu ne disposant pas d’un lave-vaisselle. Le frigo blanc est recouvert de rouille à l’extérieure. Les couverts sont rouillés et sales. Le plombier a dû venir 4 fois pendant notre séjour de 12 jours. La première fois il y avait une fuite dans la climatisation d’une des chambres. L’eau fuyait sur une applique au mur. Bien évidemment nous avons du couper l'éléctricité dans la chambre. La seconde fuite provenant du dessous d'un lavabo et l’eau coulait jusqu’à la chambre. Une copine était là quand le plombier est venu la – elle a essayé de lui montrait la fuite mais il l’a balayé de côté pour ensuite changer le mauvais tuyau ! Il a dû revenir encore 2 fois pour cette même fuite tellement il est incompétent. Les deux unités d’air conditionné dans les chambres sont très sales. L’eau sort des têtes de douche à moitié tellement elles sont rouillées et bloquées par le calcaire. Le 2e jour, nous n’avions pas d’eau chaude parce que les bouteilles de gaz qui alimentent l’eau chaude n’ont pas été vérifier avant notre arrivée et étaient vides ! Enfin, pour agrémenter le séjour il y a le coq local qui chante pour une heure entre 5h et 6h et de nouveaux à 8h30. Et en fin d’après-midi il a l’ado dans la maison à côté qui vole son drone non seulement dans son jardin mais au-dessus du jardin et de la piscine du cottage. (il faut noter que c’est illégal en République Dominicaine sans l'accord des personnes)! Bref, une propriété décrépite.

Un séjour parfait!

Une copine et moi avons séjourner à Villa Rancho avec nos 2 enfants de moins de 2 ans pour une semaine. Ce fut une vacances extraordinaire dans un endroit parfait. La villa est d'une simplicité et d'une beauté. Le jardin tropicale est magnifique. Nous avons reçus des services hors paires de l'hôtesse Marine, de Bertha la femme de ménage et de l'homme qui fait le maintien de la piscine. On s'est senti chez nous dès les premières minutes et en toute sécurité tout au long du séjour. Je recommande fortement Villa Rancho à tous ceux et celles qui ont envie de se reposer dans un endroit tranquille, un peu à l'écart des touristes, au coeur du centre-ville typique et à moins de 10 minutes de marche de la plage. Je garde Villa Rancho dans mon carnet d'adresse et j'espère y revenir prochainement. Merci à tout le monde pour votre accueil. Geneviève, Claudine, Rose et Émile - Québec, Canada

Super vacances en famille !

nous avons passé une semaine avec nos 3 enfants dans cette superbe villa encore plus belle en réalité que sur les photos. Le jardin et la terrasse sont vraiment magnifiques ! Elle se situe aux coeur du village mais assez en retrait pour être tranquille et assez proche des plages, des restos et des ''boutiques''pour ne pas avoir besoin d'une voiture. L'accueil de Marine est chantant...! On était bien ! N'hésitez pas à essayer les moto-conchos, un des meilleurs souvenirs de nos enfants-ados!

belles vacances

La maison est conforme à l'annonce et aux photos. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. La décoration colorée et le jardin luxuriant nous invitent au voyage. Bonne situation à proximité des plages et du centre ville du village. Un grand merci à Marine pour son gentil accueil et sa disponibilité tout au long de notre séjour. Nous étions bichonnés. Tous les ingrédients furent réunis pour passer un excellent séjour.

Trois semaines très agréables

Très bonne adresse,nous y sommes restés trois semaines, tout y est ; la maison est confortable et la piscine accueillante.Au centre de Las Terrenas tout en étant au calme cette villa offre tout ce qu'on attend pour un tel séjour.Nous recommandons vivement cette location . Les locaux sont accueillants, nous ne parlons pas espagnol et pourtant tout c'est bien passé. Sautez sur une motoconcho et rendez vous aux magnifiques plages,Coson Bonita, près de cette petite ville. Je pense que nous y retournerons dans quelques temps..

Séjour exotique

Excellent séjour à Las Terrenas . La maison est bien placée au coeur du village et pourtant tout près des plages ;c'est un bonheur de venir s y réfugier . La grande terrasse est très agréable pour prendre ses repas ou bien se reposer dans le charmant salon extérieur .Nous regrettons seulement d'être restés trop peu pour en profiter suffisamment . Si vous aimez l'exotisme , les couleurs ,la belle végétation ,les chants d'oiseaux au petit matin ,marcher pieds nus dans la pelouse moelleuse alors n'hésitez pas !
