Cozy Cottage at Harvey's Lake

Quaint and inviting cottage at Harvey's Lake. Very nicely decorated and filled with all the ammenities to make your stay fun and comfortable. Can sleep 4, possibly 5 with foldout cot. Everything you need including full sized bed, loveseat sized sofa, cute little kitchen and dining room. Recently added a daybed with pop up trundle that can sleep 2. It's in a separate area away from the living room area. Nice sized bathroom with full sized tub and great shower! Small deck off the bedroom and a nice quiet porch on the opposite side of the cottage. Stocked with linens, towels, beach towels, kitchen necessities, microwave, toaster, toaster oven and blender. Cottage has heat and central Air Conditioning or ceiling fans for those cooler days. All Pergo flooring throughout. New gas grill on the side porch and a new flat screen smart tv. Come for a little quiet getaway I am sure you will love it! cottage is also close to Misericordia University, Kings and Wilkes College. Hunters - ask me about my hunting land in Noxen, PA.

Family Reunion

Just needed a place to sleep and get cleaned up that allowed pets near our family reunion and this cottage fit the bill. The afternoon we checked in, my son and I were even able to enjoy a dip in the lake which was in walking distance from the cottage.

Loved sitting out in morning on either of 2 decks & having coffee. So happy to have place to take dogs with me. Cottage was very cozy & clean. Cute pieces of vintage furniture. Perfect place for me as single person, very safe area. Had seafood last night at Crabby Ron’s….delicious

Fantastic get away with my fantastic new wife.

We were very very pleased with our stay and the coziness of our honeymoon stay at this awwesome cottage. It did not dissapoint one bit. Any time we needed to know anything about our cottage while there Catherine Welgoss took great care of us. Needless to say we will be coming back again. I wiil gladly give our experience a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating.

Nice stay near family

Relaxing month stay in cozy cottage. Cons: Location is a bit noisy as the house is a cars width from the road. The floor is very uneven-the front door only opens about 45 degrees. The screen was ripped on the door to the patio from the BR and a bird decided to come in & fly around the BR (got permission to duct taped the screen). Pros: Enjoyed the sunny patio and the plants/flowers off the BR. Appreciated the W/D in the closet. You won't find a place with greater water pressure!

The original property listed is not the property in which we stayed. That property was not available upon our arrival, and she allowed us to stay in a property up the road, much nicwer and at the same cost. communication was 4 stars, mainly because I own a flip phone. online listing was 1 only because we never stayed at the property listed

The cottage was so cute and quirky , perfect for 1 -2 adults. Love that fur babies are allowed. So close to amazing hikes such as seven tubs and rickets Glen. The beach at the lake was so Relaxing and just a short walk. The owner was so responsive. Bonus a blue bird was nesting in a tree off the deck and they hatched before I left. I will defybe recommending to friends and going back.

The cottage was great very clean and close by some good restaurants the only thing me and my friend did not like was that in the pictures it made it seem like the lake was right behind the house and it wasn’t but other than that we had an amazing time

The lake and private beach is a 2 minute walk from the cottage. We purchase a membership to provide our guests access to that beach. It's perfect for swimming or sunbathing with a fully certified life guard. There are chairs, tables, umbrellas. floatation devices and beach toys for the little ones. Also, kayaks and canoes can be used there.

This cottage was perfect for my daughter and myself. Very clean and cozy. The cottage is bigger than I expected and and the pictures on website does not do it justice. I would highly recommend this cottage for a great get away for a couple or small family.

Don't Do It!!

Property was nowhere near where it was mapped on VRBO. Appears to be close to lake, but is actually about a 1/4 mile up the road. Even after making the payment, the location did not update. Also, the lake access was closed due to Covid, this was not ever known to us or disclosed before our scheduled arrival. Two days into trip, We were told there was other Access about 3/4 of a mile from the house. first day it was closed? The house was not dirty, but it could have been a lot cleaner. Furniture is old and out dated. Oven in stove did not work and one burner was iffy. Refrigerator door had to be pushed to close properly. Back porch roof leaked and furniture was un-sittable. Would not recommend this rental to any one. Totally felt like we were taken advantage of. We left a day early. Its been 2 weeks and security still has not been returned. House was cleaner when we left than arrived.

The cottage has everything like towels, shower gel, etc. Fully loaded kitchen, one cup Keurig, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, just bring the food & condiments. And has it's own laundry room with washer & dryer, detergent, softener sheets, Whatever you need really. The property owner was wonderful!!!! She was very friendly and easy to talk to if there was a problem. Absolutely loved it there!!!
