Super Cozy - Home Away from Home - OCEANFRONT

This condo is located in the family friendly Garden City Beach Area just south of Myrtle Beach. This two bedroom condo is in the 16 story high rise Royal Garden Resort. The Royal Garden Resort has a large outdoor and indoor swimming pool and a hot tub. Linens are included in the reservation.

Come Relax on your large private oceanfront balcony with unobstructed views of the ocean. Enjoy the resort amenities, which include 2 pools (indoor and outdoor), hot tub, outdoor kiddie pool, and cornhole. We have an onsite family friendly beach bar and grill that offers a variety of special drinks and food.
Check-in is onsite for easy and fast convenience. We can provide contact-less check-in if requested.
You are allotted two parking spaces to park in the onsite parking garage. The parking garage clearance is 6’ 8”. There are a few oversized parking spaces based on availability. Guest cannot have golf carts in the parking garage however, there is parking in front of the garage based on availability.
This beautiful condo is 5 miles from the family friendly Murrells Inlet Marsh walk.

The hotel part was fine, but the parking garage was terrible. It's hard to park a truck in the garage when you could find a spot. But the last night there I had to park outside the garage in a handicap spot and I got a $25 parking ticket.

However, not only is the place outdated (I'm talking early 80s) - the wall paper was peeling, the ceilings covered in mold, walls filthy dity, hair found on ddirty,- it was pretty rough.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing view! Overall, the unit is clean however there are some items that really need addressing. Only 3 burners on the stove work, both bathrooms have acoustic ceiling tiles that are disintegrating and the main bath has a heat bulb which is a fire hazard in that type of tile, the towel bars are barely hanging on the walls and you can tell there were half-hearted attempts to fix them, and the patio door is extremely hard to open and close.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was ragged and worn out. Appeared to be the original finishes. MBR to MBath carpet was literally frazzled/worn 1" back from the bath floor finish. The carpet was stained throughout. There were 4 dinner forks. Beach was being rebuilt and while mgt didn't know exactly when the beach in front of the condo would be closed down they knew construction was ongoing. Other vacationers said they were fore warned and some given upgrade condos in other locations close by. I will NEVER rent through Royal Garden Resort onsite mgt again. I love the location but would have rented elsewhere if aware of the possibility of the beach being closed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first got to Royal Garden Resort check was fast and easy to experience. From there it went downhill fast! The elevators were not working properly. We waited over 30 minutes just to get our things on an elevator. Then finally get to our room On the 15th floor to find the room was not at all up to standards. Wall paper peeling, registers rusted, ceiling tiles discolored and in wash room totally missing tiles altogether, also furniture that was old,outdated, too much furniture as if being used to store old furniture. We felt we made a bad decision but couldn't ask for our money back or find better accommodation being the summer crowd was at the beach. We were disappointed to say the least.The pool was nice and the beach was close. I sent an email to the last correspondence and it stated No Reply could be sent. Glad we were just there for 3 nights but it was highly overpriced for our sad accommodations!!

I made a mistake with my booking dates and Seabreeze Realty was able to accommodate me to this condo. However, the condo shows is age. There are two spots in the ceiling near the door that were falling. The condo had a overall wet smell. In addition, the refrigerator was taped up in at least one spot. However, it was clean.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was not what we expected or were promised. The upkeep is non-existent. The bathroom ceiling tiles popped up everytime you closed the door, the entire unit needs updating and maintenance. Peeling walls and ceilings, mixer...never worked. 2 chairs at a tiny kitchen table - if the room sleeps more than 2 than you have to eat in shifts. The small bureau in the bedroom might work if there were bottoms in the drawers. The kitchenware is so outdated almost impossible to cook with and serve. The next door neighbors can look right into your unit, providing no privacy. Spend a little money updating and maintaining the unit. You should be ashamed to rent it as is.

It seemed the waves were right under us. I did not find the proper disposal of cardboard until late. The luggage rack area was flooded, I realize you had massive rain beforehand. It seemed I was left holding key. pick up box/no drop box?? the same?

Reviewer Comments: The property location is very nice, when traveling with kids, the indoor pool is an absolute must for us, and the toddler pool was a huge convenience. The condo itself was dated, as most we've seen are, but was clean up on arrival. There were plenty of kitchen cooking items, but no dish soap/sponges. There was a broom, but no dustpan, which was very frustrating, and any condo that has carpeting really ought to have a vacuum. There were some issues with dressers where the drawers didn't open, some duct tape holding up the shelf in the fridge... Overall, it was a nice enough week long vacation, but certainly not something I would have been happy to pay that price for a long term stay.

Overall, it was great. This is; however the first place we've ever stayed where no paper towels or napkins were provided. Also no hand towels in the bathrooms - only wash cloths and bath towels and no extra trash bags.

Definitely not acceptable!

A lot of money spent for a week of non working appliances, cold showers, exceptionally dirty carpets/walls/ceilings, 20 minute waits for elevators from the 15th floor, wildly outdated/uncomfortable furniture and decor. Stayed July 2021… will never stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I felt we were not given enough info when we arrived. We were told a different unit than given to us. The unit we had was absolutely not suitable but was told if we would have said something right away we could have been moved. Well you don't like to complain right away but I would not come again to that unit. Someone needs to make regulations for the owners. I wonder if they would stay in one like that. The furniture was so bad to sit on good luck getting out of it. The carpet and floors in the bedrooms disgusting. Refrigerator had to be cleaned by me before usage. I can't express how I feel except the people I met made up for my stay. Everyone I met was great. I am glad I saw another unit because I can tell people I loved the location just not the unit. When I gave my review on the property it was mostly on our unit. Check out the pots and pans and bed clothing not acceptable. Sorry for complaining because we did like the location a lot.

Cars being towed and ticketed including mine( ticket). Would not return to this location because of this.
