We were pleasantly surprised with our cottage. It was clean, comfortable (especially the beds) and had everything we needed for our stay there. It was also very close to local beaches, lovely coastal walks, amenities and attractions. We'll definitely be back!

Loved the cottage so well equipped not just in the kitchen but well furnished, more like a home than a rental.
If I wanted to spend time in Cornwall again I would use this cottage again.

The cottage was great, decent size and well equipped. Few issues on arrival but owners and property manager quick to put right and very helpful and friendly. Lovely big garden. Well recommended. We would stay here again and may book both cottages with family next year.

Skylarks is in a fantastic location.
Skylarks is in a fantastic location. Only a 15-minute walk to the stunning Chapel Porth beach and a bit longer to Porthtowan beach. Getting around Cornwall was also no bother with quick access to both A329 and A30. Perranporth is only a 15-minute drive and St Agnes a short 10 -minute drive. The kitchen was stocked with basic essentials - washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, etc and the scones and clotted cream on arrival were a nice touch. The wet room is also a good idea especially after a day at the beach although an outside tap would be great for washing wetsuits. The property was clean and roomy however the beige carpet (probably not the best color for a holiday let) is looking worn and in the hallway was stained. The mattresses in all the beds were also springy and very uncomfortable. Outside, the patio had loose slabs and the wooden table and fence have seen better days. All in all this property is feeling tired and in need of a refresh throughout.

Very pleased with the holiday house.
Very pleased with the holiday house. The only thing to maybe update is the photograph of the garden as on the website it had a picture of a goal post in the garden to use but this has since been updated with a fence so no access to the goal post (so a disappointed 6 year old footballer!!!). But wouldn't matter if you didn't have football crazy boy!! Other than that, rooms are spacious and a nice little bungalow for our base in Cornwall.

Really excellent week.
Really excellent week. For our family of 4 the perfect size cottage. Only a 10 minute stroll to the beach and 2 minutes to The Victory for some great pub grub. We've been coming to Porthtowan for 10 years and normally stay in the flats on the beach but this year decided to try somewhere new and have already booked up for next year!
