It was a cosy annexe, secure garden so didn’t need to worry about the dogs.
It was small but just the 2 of us and 2 small dogs was fine. It could do with a good clean quite dusty in there and things like broken handle on a draw was just left in the draw and not been fixed. The garden needed a bit of a mow and tidy too and the parking was a very small space just about fitted my car on with an inch to spare.
Would recommend to stay, but would be even better with a little TlC.

Great location great accommodation owner very nice lady only let down company responsible for cleanliness of the annex
Enjoyed our stay, location very remote but howevery it's what we wanted and expected, cosy property and all amenities were provided. Nice card welcoming us the card indicated that the local show was taking place on the Saturday which we attended and enjoyed greatly. The owner had left us a couple of jars one of marmalade and one of black garlic ketchup, which was lovely . The local pub in the village was a bonus and recommended, the location was great for us and the main attraction are not to far away to travel to. We did take our dog with us on our holidays and she enjoyed the property snd location. The annexe lay out has the living area, bedroom and kitchen are not separate but this didn't affect our stay but might be a problem to other couples. The digital signal was poor for the TV and at times we were unable to watch the TV, if you plan to watch the TV as your main entertainment in the evening that might be a problem. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

basically we came here for our 1st anniversary and we liked the place and the area but the only problem was that shower was clogged up and every corners of every room had spider web on the ceiling and spiders including the shower, bedroom, kitchen and living room but we rang them the next day they came in and sorted out the shower and most of the spiders but not all of them as there was quite a few which made us feel uncomfortable especially at night time we couldnt even sleep and was creeped out! So Im kinda disappointed but other than that the place was good and also need wifi.

Had a lovely few days.
Had a lovely few days. So much to see and do, with not enough time so we are planning a return visit. Borran Annexe was very comfortable and has a homely feel. It was nice and clean with amazing views. Thank you for all the little things that sometimes get forgot. The information pack was highly informative and helped us to locate amenities, however postcodes would have been more beneficial. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for others to have a visit.

We really enjoyed the cottage.
We really enjoyed the cottage. Decent size garden and living area. Quite a high spec of equipment although no proper oven or washer. The location is beautiful, local amenities aren’t there because of this, however there is a great pub over the road. Ulveston and Greenod aren’t too far away. Grizedale Forest is close by and worth a visit. There’s plenty of farm tracks for walking the dogs and deer running around early in the morning. The bedroom is very nice and the bed is great, however it isn’t separate from the living area. This didn’t bother us, but I don’t think the photos showed this. View from the living area was excellent

Beautiful location, bedroom not separate as it looks in pics but not a problem to us. Ideal for our 2 small dogs who were safe when let in the garden when gate closed.
Cleaning needs to be better, I had to sweep round and clean the sink and top of toliet as I thought they were marbled but it was dirt.

We loved it.
We loved it. Great secure garden for the dogs and a good pub over the road for evening meals! We would certainly like to visit again
One suggestion we'd make is to have a small pet-friendly hoover to make it easier should a dog be particularly hairy!! It was a bit of a pain having just a brush to sweep up
