Ideal for a week exploring the lakes
Great location, close enough to Keswick but in a peaceful, quiet location. The cottage itself has everything you could need and there are great walks and cycles on and off road straight from the front door! Bottle of bubbles to greet us was a lovely surprise.

A hideaway
Well-cared for property with all that we needed. Nice to be welcomed with a letter from our hosts and a bottle of prosecco! The river running by the old sawmill sent me to sleep at night, and the peace of the area was great, while the closeness of Keswick meant you were easily able to get stores or find eating places.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairholme Cottage.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairholme Cottage. The location is very quiet with lots of wildlife (a very friendly pheasant) and the beautiful red squirrels. The cottage is much more spacious than the photographs reflect and it is very well equipped. The decor is lovely and the cottage clean. Can't wait to return.
