Garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Shared grounds. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is a lake within the grounds.. Garden Cottage is a delightful country abode overlooking a large fishing lake stocked with carp, with sheep in the surrounding fields and a lovely original Romani caravan in the garden. This detached, single-storey cottage is perfect for couples of all ages looking for some relief from the daily grind, and with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, guests will find exactly what they’ve been looking for at any time of year. The property boasts a lovely mature cottage garden and a bright, light, contemporary glazed extension. Set on a 70-acre working sheep farm in the heart of rural Devon, you can head out and start your adventure right from the front door. Located within easy access of the A38, exploring further afield couldn’t be easier. The little Georgian town of Modbury, with its selection of unusual and unique shops, is just a short drive away, so too is the fabulous South Devon Coast. With seaside villages like Bigbury, Thurlestone, Bantham and Mothercombe, this area of the country is perfect for walking, swimming and surfing. Shop and restaurant 2 miles. Pub 3/4 mile.
