Amazing stay!!!! Loved the house, we didn’t venture far as the beach was literally just over the wall 😎 Views are amazing and we watched the lifeboat launch three times from the house. Will definitely re book.

The house itself was so much bigger than it looks from the photos. Each bedroom was big and each bathroom too. It was especially lovely that no one has to share bathrooms you all have your own. As for cleanliness, the house was immaculate. It also came with games, puzzles and reading books for both adults and children. Along with a welcome basket, some milk in the fridge and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need even so far as black bin bags, plenty of tea bags and coffee, ice cube trays and a generous amount of dishwasher tablets. The views from the bedrooms and the lounge were stunning with nothing in front of you blocking the view of the harbour. The town has lots of pubs and restaurants as well as wine bars and local shops with the town centre just a few minutes walk. There are also 2 local car parks, both only a 3 minute walk from the house and a loading bay to help you unpack/pack the car. I would definitely recommend.

Marvellous property in prime, great location.
Marvellous property in prime, great location. Views quite breathtaking (we stayed in November so off season). Leave bedroom curtains open and sunrise is wonderful... have your camera ready. Trips to Exmoor, Clovelly or Dartington Glass within easy travel (car). Tintagel a bit further but doable. Off season gem.

We had high expectations based on other reviews we had seen but the Blue Beach House managed to exceed these, we had a fantastic holiday.
The USP for us is having the beach on your doorstep, we have two young children and being able to travel from the beach to the cottage in a matter of metres was a godsend!
The view from the courtyard over the beach and harbour is stunning and manages to feel secluded even being so close to a busy beach.
The interior of the house is modern with some lovely touches. If I had to highlight a small issue, the WiFi signal was not the best and would drop from time to time but was a minor inconvenience.
We had plans to visit lots of places around North Devon but found our kids enjoyed the beach so much and we were able to relax so much we decided to stay put most days, it was that good.
We've already booked to return next year and have great memories of our week at the Blue Beach House, we can't wait to return.
