Aquamarine is a 3 bedroom house located just behind a dune, right next to a safe swimming beach. It is light, spacious and has plenty of room for larger families or groups. The master bedroom has a king size bed and own bathroom.

The house has recently been connected to the mains water and a large capacity hot water service was installed in 2024, so everybody can have a hot shower. The kitchen is well equipped and even has a dishwasher. The air conditioner has been replaced in February 2023 and now works perfectly.

Aquamarine is ideal for longer stays all year round. The house is well insulated, has heaters and electric blankets on all beds. The back verandah is quite big, overlooks the dune and has a gas BBQ as well as seating. The house has a pleasant green outlook but there is no sea view.

Beach access is immediately behind the house with no street between. The beach is great to explore, is fairly sheltered and there is great fishing from the rocks. There are extensive warm shallows for children to enjoy but also an easy access spot to deep water. You can expect to see a lot of wildlife and the sea is teeming with fish. At the same time, you would only be a short drive from the shops, making life considerably easier.

There is NBN broadband WiFi installed in the house and is free for the guests to use. One can even stream movies or play games if you bring your computer.

Well behaved pets may be permitted by individual arrangement but the garden is not fenced.

Location

Located on the North Coast of the fabulous Kangaroo Island, Baudin Beach is a small settlement of about 100 houses, 5 km East from Island Beach and 10 km West from Penneshaw ferry terminal. There is a good supermarket and several eateries at Penneshaw but no food is sold at Baudin Beach. The area is greener and less windy than the South coast of the island. The place is great for fishing and diving with a good boat ramp down the street. Sheltered waters of Eastern Cove are renown for plentiful King George Whiting. There is a gorgeous, safe and largely private beach just behind the house. The main highway leading to all the island attractions is only a couple of hundred meters away.

Sleeping configuration

The main bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has a king single and a bunk bed. There are now 3 new sofa beds in the living area, providing additional sleeping if necessary. There is also a full size cot available for a baby.
