Swordfish, Pet Friendly SHACK
2 bedroom home with great verandah views. Main bedroom with queen bed, second with 2 x bunk beds.
Wood Heater for the cosy winter days.
30 minute drive to Kingscote, Airport and Ferry Terminal at Penneshaw.
Fishing Charters available, great walking trails.
5 minute walk to Tennis Courts, Playground and Wharf area.
A great place for those wanting to relax and take in all Kangaroo Island has to offer.
Pet Friendly.
The entire property is fenced with a post/rail/wire fence with chicken wire below to secure the smaller dogs.
**There is one step from living area to kitchen/bathroom areas. Possibly not suitable for persons with disabilities.
The kitchen is basic, but should have all amenities.
There is a wood heater, but no air-conditioning (only fans).
There is no WIFI.
American River does not have a water supply to the houses. We rely on rain and trucked in water which can be difficult to organise at short notice and very expensive. DO NOT WASH YOUR CAR, BOAT OR FLUSH YOUR BOAT MOTOR. If you can leave some washing till you get home this will also help.
The front view is exceptional.
