We had a great time staying at dolphins encounter. The house was clean and very functional. The view over the water was beautiful and we spent most of our time watching dolphins swim past - amazing!

Perfect House in a fantastic position

Wanting a property for 4 adults and two dogs- Dolphins Encounter ticked all the boxes. Owner was fantastic to deal with and had fire going and a bottle of bubbles when we arrived. Couldn’t have wanted a more perfect place.

Clean, cosy and private. Beautiful view, large deck and saw lots of dolphins. Comfy beds and everything you need contained in the house. Close to Penneshaw Beach, IGA and Sea Ferry Terminal. Would definitely stay here again. Host was very helpful with information and great communication.

Amazing place

This is a very beautiful place. You can see the dolphins from your room. This located very closed to the beach. We travel with our dog it’s very safe dog to run around. It’s only 3min away from the penshaw ferry terminal and 5min away from the town. Mish is very professional and responsible host always contactable. I highly recommend this place.

Our stay was amazing. Mish was great host, actual property is more beautiful than in the pictures. After driving around we realized, that the most beautiful beach is just 3 min walk. There were dolphins and kangaroos all day long. Place is equipped with absolutely everything you can possibly need. Highly recommend!!!

What a blissful place to stay! This place has killer views. You can watch the dolphins play right from the living room or deck. Very well furnished, clean, roomy property. Well stocked kitchen, linens and good quality toiletries. Mish is a great host and gave us local tips and kept us updated. Thank you Mish!

The best view on Kangaroo Island!

We chose this property for its amazing view, and it more than delivered! Every evening was spent on the beautiful deck watching the local dolphin pod, the stunning sunsets, and enjoying the time in the evening when kangaroos and wallabies emerge from the trees and cover the yard! We fell in love with Penneshaw and believe this house is the perfect home base when visiting KI!

Beautiful property overlooking the water

We had an amazing stay in this gorgeous home. We spent each night and morning out on the deck watching a pod of dolphins swimming and wallabies playing just below. The house has a lovely open plan living and everything you could want. The bedroom has views also down to the beach. The property is close to restaurants and shops but secluded enough to make your stay feel very private. We enjoyed all three days at this lovely property and to be able to bring our little dachshund with us made it even more special. Thank you!

It was our first time to KI and as beautiful as the island is (and it is!), it was made perfect by the opportunity to stay in this house. The setting is spectacular, the location is close to town but not too close, and Mish has ensured everything has been thought of. It truly was an amazing time. A doggy paradise

This place is an absolute gem. To find accommodation that will accept our 3 dogs is very very rare..but to find such a high standard of accommodation in such a beautiful setting is unheard of. Mish was the perfect hostess..always at the end of the phone if needed but gave us our space. The house met all our needs in every way. Gorgeous comfy cozy house

Beautiful house with large decks and windows and great views. The photos really don’t do it justice at all. The fireplace was lit for us on arrival, and kept the living area nice and warm. The split systems in the bedrooms were great for a little burst of heat when needed too. The kitchen is very well stocked with hot drinks, condiments and dishes. There were even plastic dishes for our toddler. The toys were enjoyed by our 3 year old, as was the dvd selection. I liked the romance novel selection and cookbooks. The smart tv was great. The house even had a baby bath tub and potty! Our two old dogs were thankfully welcome and enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the ocean. We saw wallabies, kangaroos and dolphins from the balcony and many windows. Our daughter liked watching the ferry go back and forth. I hope we get to come back! Great spot.

Great place to relax and unwind

Great place to stay relax and unwind, the house is very well set up. We thought we were extremely lucky to be next to the Wallaby trail and seeing the pod of Dolphins playing in the bay.
