Serendip Beach House - Wallaga Lake

A beautiful self contained weatherboard beach cottage set on 5 acres, with 2 bedrooms and sunroom on the pristine shore of Wallaga Lake. The cottage is adjacent to the main residence.
Hear the sounds of the rolling surf and birdlife and enjoy the dolphins, whales, sea eagles and great fishing at your door step.

Launch your runabout boat at the bottom of the garden. Enjoy sitting around a camp fire under the stars and walking through the wetlands to the secluded Wallaga Beach.

Best suited for maximum 4 adults or family of 5 with small children in two bedrooms and a sun room comprising of -
master bedroom with queen bed,
second bedroom single beds that can be put together to make a king bed on request and
a sunroom with one sofa bed
Price quoted is for 4 guests. Additional cost for extra person per night.

Wood fire, gas heating,additional outdoor shower, well equipped kitchen, open plan living with hard wood floors opening to a deck with a view over Wallaga Lake to Murrana Point.

The seaside village of Bermagui is located 7km South and is famous for deep sea fishing, surfing and boating. The village boasts great restaurants and the new 'Fishermans Wharf' featuring Italian Seafood - Illpassagio, a Chinese restaurant, fish and chip shop and great wine bar - Horse and Camael, where you can enjoy premium wines over looking the harbour and Pacific coastline.

For the active holiday makers there is plenty of things to do. Enjoy tennis and bowling at the country club or try your luck on the 18 hole golf course. Swim at tranquil Horse Show Bay or mountain bike around the purpose built Bermagui Dirt Surfers Mountain Bike Park.

The historic village of Tilba is just a short 5 min drive at the base of Mount Dromadery. Visit Tilba cheese factory and local gift shops.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

We enjoyed our stay immensely and would like to visit again in future. Rachel has created a warm and inviting environment in a location that is close to many of the attractions of the northern Bega Valley.

Loved our stay and so great we could take our dog with us and she could be inside like home. It was a home away from home. Only complaint about our stay is it wasn't long enough. Planning a longer stay next time.

Perfect for a relaxing break

If you love lake views, open vistas, log fires and peace and quiet this renovated cottage will not disappoint. A beautiful spot close to Bermagui and Tilba, we enjoyed our stay and it was just the relaxing holiday we needed. Rachel and Brian were great hosts and even left us a few treats!

Great Getaway

Had a fantastic June long weekend. Beautiful little cottage, has all you need, lovely hosts and relaxing to just get away from Sydney for a few days. Paddling the Canoe around the lake with my daughter was a highlight too. Would love to return soon.

Perfection

This is our fourth year staying at Serendip, A wonderful place to get away and enjoy some piece and quiet, as you watch the water from the veranda. Rachel and Brian are wonderful hosts that are very easy to communicate with and knowledgeable about the area. I enjoy the visits from Spud the owners dog, she is friendly and well behaved. I will continue to visit this wonderful place in the future.

Excellent location, friendly owners. Best place to stay.

From the time we arrived until we departed this property was all we expected and more. From the quaint little 3 bedroom cottage to the most wonderful view of Wallaga Lakes, and the short walk through to the beach it was all just wonderful. Rachel and Brian are wonderful host's always happy to help with anything. But the finishing touch is the availability to have our canine companion with us, to run and play with host's pet Spud. This is our second time at the cottage and most defiantly will not be our last.

Bird paradise on Lake Wallaga

We have just spent a week in Serendip Cottage and have loved every minute. The cottage is thoughtfully decorated and well equipped and it has been a pleasure to stay here. The environment is pristine with sea and land birds everywhere. The views from the cottage across the lawn to the lake are serene and ever changing. We brought our dogs and they were accommodated and welcomed. Bermagui is not far away and there is plenty to see and do in the area. Or just relax on the verandah. Thanks Rachel and Brian for such a delightful place.

A slice of paradise

Summer holiday

This property is beautiful and stunning even in the rain. The cottage is a quaint and very well maintained. A few minor changes which make the cottage even more homely. The owners are very friendly and on hand with any enquiry or needs of their visitors. And of course cannot forget Spud the house dog, she is gorgeous, friendly and always happy to come for a visit. I would recommend this property highly. We will definitely be back again.

Oasis of calm

Elegant, comfortable and peaceful, Serendip had everything we needed plus more. Greeted with wine and chocolates and the most exquisite view, we relaxed straight away. The host quickly responded with any questions we had. The location is sensational, spacious and private. We are definitely hoping to return one day!

Paradise by the Lake

Serendip gives a big embrace on arrival and it is most difficult to leave. A charming residence with quality and quirky design features. Extremely well appointed. Nothing is left to chance. A marvellous mid Winter escape, cosy cottage, quiet location, lake views from the sitting room, beautiful walks, easy drive to shops, bonus of being so close to Tilba Tilba, delightful National Trust Village. Owners who are attentive, but discreet. Even out sweet dog Teddy was dragging his paws as we left.

We endeavour to be available to guests as much as possible but respect their privacy as well.
Being a nurse and a firman we are equiped for any emergency that may come our way :)
