Single storey house in an extensive, established garden a stones throw from Sponge Bay. Private and secluded, the guest wing has its own entrance, terrace and parking. The sun-lounge has ranch sliders opening onto the sunny terrace. New well equiped kitchenette / breakfast bar gets the morning sun. Modernised bathroom with large shower, separate toilet. Enjoy the birdlife and rural aspect with all the advantages of being close to town and beaches. There is a 12m swimming pool onsite for your use.

This is a lovely house in a beautiful setting. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. Everything described was there and working. The goodies left for us were delicious. The only reasons we gave 4 stars is the lack of a washing achine and proper oven. We would return.

The carpet was not clean- grounds unkept except for lawns and the back ground looked nothing like photos- all in all a bad experience - they did allow is to have inside dog grateful

Hello Caren, How disappointing that you’ve chosen to give us such a bad review (the first in three years of operation). We can only assume that your comment about the grounds being “unkempt” refer to the greening up of the gravel drive - a deliberate move on our part as we don’t use any herbicides. It can cause problems with some people’s perceptions of what a gravel drive should look like. As an act of kindness, over Christmas, we allowed you to bring your dog on the understanding that it was well behaved and supervised. Unfortunately the dog was allowed to wander freely all over the property with the inevitable offerings left behind. The dog was also let into the pool garden and into the pool too! We’re very sorry if your Christmas away from home didn’t match your expectations. Les & Susie
