Enjoy uninterrupted sea views from this open plan 2 bedroom home with modern décor. Just a stones throw away from the beautiful long white sandy beach of Emu Bay, which boasts a 4.5km long safe swimming beach with vehicle access. Just 200m away you have access to boat launching facilities or you can enjoy a spot of fishing from the jetty. Also located just across the road is playground for children to meet new friends and have fun.

This cottage would be perfect for someone wanting to completely get away from the world or on a fishing holiday. The view was gorgeous and it was so close to the beach, you could not ask for more in this regard. However, we needed to drive in and out of Kingscote regularly to find things to do which got a bit much because we didn’t realise there was nothing around. This was just our misunderstanding of the island though and no fault of the property, which really was lovely.

Cottage on beautiful beach

Beautiful location and comfortable cottage. We were able to cook full meals in the kitchen, it ad everything you need. The property needs a good clean, cornice and all services needs a wipe down, bathroom corners had hair and fluff, garbage bins were full when we got there and very stinky. The rest of the property was neat and clean. The scrubs infront of the cottage is beautiful but larger than on the listing photos and due to this you can't see the ocean view from the couches anymore.

Great position to stay . Quiet, friendly and clean . Could do with a little upgrading . The place hasn't changed in the past 4 to 5 years. A good base to go from visiting the Island. Lavender farm up the road is a great place for breakfast and they make a mean scone and coffee. We would go back again.

The house was perfectly located for the beach and very relaxing. The house was clean, and had everything required. Unfortunately there was a horrible smell coming from the cupboards under the kitchen and some of the utensils in the kitchen were a bit "difficult" to use - eg. sticky saucepans and frying pans. Otherwise, great location, and a nice comfortable stay. Would probably stay again.
