Stunning beachfront home - Pet friendly

Cactus is light and bright, with full length windows taking in the stunning views toward the jetty and accross the bay.
Enjoy timeless, open planned living spaces, with a recent renovation finished to exacting standards.
Cactus has some of the best views of Emu Bay. Front row, but hidden away from the road, Cactus is surprisingly private.
The open plan living area and deck are perfect for seamless entertaining. The house has an extremely well appointed, large kitchen with high end appliances - two fridges, pod machine and Miele double oven.
The master bedroom, with ensuite, also affords beautiful views accross the bay. Two further bedrooms accommodate up to 6 guests. Located at the rear is another living area with TV and sofa - perfect for the kids.
The second bathroom and laundry complete the listing with additional shower, toilet, washer, dryer and huge double vanity.
Only a minutes walk away, Emu Bay is one of KI's best swimming beaches. Along with that it is also one of the most popular boat launching locations. Fish, Kayak, paddleboard, swim or just walk or relax on the beach. Emu Bay is also one of only a couple of beaches that allows cars to drive along it.

We enjoyed our stay at Cactus house - the views are lovely over Emu Bay and the location superb. The house has everything you need and the front deck was wonderful. My family really enjoyed our stay - cannot fault anything.

KI Paradise

Faultless! The house, location, amenities, interior fittings were all exceptional. Our family didn’t want to leave. One of the best places we have ever stayed at.

I am a 5th generation Kangaroo Islander. My husband and I run a farm in the middle of the island.
I have 2 listings - Cactus at beautiful Emu Bay (north coast of the island) and another - Six Kings in Unley Park, Adelaide.
Farming takes most of our time but when we can, we love to travel. We also love to take walks around parts of the island - especially beaches like Emu Bay. Fishing and being on the water is also a great love.

Why they chose this property

Not a choice really as we were born here. However we have chosen to stay.

What makes this property unique

What I love about this home is the way it is located on the block. Many front row houses can be a bit 'fish bowl' at night. as Cactus has been built a bit further back and has a huge front deck it is actually quite private. The front shrubs also add to this without effecting the view.
