Cosy & homely

A cute home recently renovated. Close to shops & eating establishments. So pleased I came across this property which is Pet Friendly & fully fenced,as it’s very rare to find a home which allows Pets. Pretty property, close to the city

As Art Deco fans, we adored the house, which is on a spacious section - big enough lawn for a game of backyard cricket. The feijoa was fruiting, giving us tree-fresh fruit for our breakfast; and we were invited to 'help ourselves', so there is feijoa crumble for pudding tonight! We did notice a little road noise, but not enough to disturb our sleep. Would stay again.

Perfect home away from home

This property was exactly as I expected from the description and photos on the listing. It was the perfect home away from home, with a very airy and yet comfy feel. The fenced yard was ideal for a dog and a toddler to roam without having to hover to ensure safety. Ideally located a five minute stroll from great coffee, and also very close to both town centre and Wainui beach (5 minutes by car). Communication with Christine was quick and easy. Will definitely be putting this on our list for the next trip to Gisborne.

When I renovate a rental I don't want to let it go and like to share it with others. I like to have nice linen for my guests and a well set up kitchen. I am also an animal lover, owner of a Shih Tzu called Napoleon and know how difficult it is to take your fur babies who are an important part of your family on holiday with you. I enjoy offering a relaxing, comfortable space for visitors to enjoy our lovely town and bring the whole family.

Why they chose this property

This Cute Art Deco was my first every Holiday Home which I bought 14 years ago. I fell in love with it and hosted many overseas guests who loved it. I then rented it out for 10 years and it got knocked around a bit and beaten up. I decided to give it a make over and offer it to holiday makers once more.

This property is set up so you feel right at home. You can cook meals, bring bikes, surfboards or even your boat and of course your pets.
