Liked: Location
Ok Early on week not a good time to go Many businesses closed. Very nice local people
We found there was only comfortable sitting for 4 people in the lounge area despite sleeping space for up to 12people .There was 6 of us. Too cold to sit outside.
No body wash or shampoo in bathrooms

Hi Penny, Yes, it was a shame you had to cancel your weekend trip as the little town is buzzing on the weekends, all shops open, including markets and live Jazz bands and wine bars. Sorry to hear you couldn't locate all the soaps and toiletries in the bathroom cabinet. If only you had called me, I would have been more than happy to advise you where they all were, being in the vanity cupboard above the sink in the bathroom. The second lounge room, lounge suite replacement, arrived last week. Thank you for leaving the house lovely and clean. Best wishes.
Rhonda
Property was amazing. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Suitable for large mixed age groups. Has two lounge areas and plenty of outside space. Close to town to enable walk into town for dining etc.

Lovely rural retreat
We had a great girls weekend at Jarro Ma. Rhonda was really accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The house is very comfortable and roomy (bigger than the pictures indicate), everything needed/wanted was supplied, the beds were very comfy, the place was lovely and quiet with kangaroos passing near the house in the mornings. Maldon shops were great too, lovely locals, lots to see and buy. It was a terrific stay. Thanks Rhonda

Great place for a break away!
Great place to take the family or multiple as in our case! Kids upstairs and adults down. Perfect.
Loads of space, everything you need, and don't, including the old world charm.
We played frisbee, boulle, watched the kangaroos and the sunset, had a BBQ, explored Maldon and the surrounds. Walked to the pub for dinner and much more.

About the host
Hosted by Rhonda Stevens
This property was my old home in melbourne after selling it and always regretting it then after 20 years later the person was going to destroy the house. I was given back my house and decided to move it to the country in this beautiful spot in Maldon. In repairing it I have poured all my love and energy into this home to bring it up to a beautiful property where family and friends can gather and enjoy it. I still enjoy working on it and I just love the fresh country air. I have met some lovely people in doing this project and nothing pleases me more to hear how much my guests love the property and how homely it is.
Why they chose this property
In repairing this property I have poured all my love and energy into this home to bring it up to a beautiful property where family and friends can gather, enjoy themselves and enjoy the beautiful mountain views.
What makes this property unique
French doors all opening out and great views to Mt Tarrengower and adjoining rolling hills and landscape. - nature at its best! Lay in bed and watch the clouds roll through the top of the mountain it is amazing. From a distance you will also be able see the Kangaroos just going about there business. The property is only 7 min walking distance to the main street, no need to drive. Sunday the steam staring also operates from Maldon to Castlemaine.
