Pet friendly family home with great views.

Andrew Views is an elevated property which offers spectacular views over the Castlemaine township. It is a 3 bedroom home located near the heart of Castlemaine, only 3 blocks from the central CBD.
Sleeps up to 6 people in 2 queen beds, and 1 set of bunks. Has all modern conveniences, including R/C air conditioning, dishwasher, full laundry and full kitchen including oven & cook-top. Open plan living area. Modern bathroom has shower over bath.
Secure pet yard to side of house, with access to house from front veranda. Well behaved pets are also allowed inside.
Outdoor entertaining on front verandah, also on rear verandah, with electric BBQ.

Please note that the price is based on 1 couple using 1 bed, in the event that more beds are required please notify upon booking as additional charges apply. Additional beds may not be made on arrival without forward notice.

Lovely stay

Lovely homely home, very clean and comfortable. The beds were awesome. Everything that you would needs. A real home away from home. Great location, close to shops with spectacular views. Wouldn't think twice before booking again.

Beautifully presented house with everything you would need. Perfect little home away from home nice and close to the main streets which you could walk to. We would 100% book again if we had to come back to town.

Beautiful views

Lovely property, we really enjoyed our stay. The views from the balcony are beautiful. The drive way is a bit steep which made walking to the shops with a child a little difficult, but the car had no issues getting up and down.

Very clean, functional and airy 60s brick house in central location. Nice verandah view, and great communication with friendly owners. Paul and Ruth have also been really considerate regarding the roomy pet areas too. Great stay.

Short stay for New Year’s Eve

Decided quite last minute to take a short trip with friends. We found the house clean (which is rare for properties that allow you to bring your pets) and well equipped. Castlemaine is a lovely town and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay 😊

Always a great place to stay

We are always happy to find a holiday home that is pet friendly for our dogs. Andrew Views is ideal and has become a regular stay for us. Very close to town, spotless and well equiped, very recommended.

A fab fur-friendly five days

We enjoyed the house, the location, the views, and the town of Castlemaine The house was generously provisioned and we particularly liked the dog-friendly fenced side yard. It’s rare to find a holiday rental with such large wardrobes, all modern appliances, and a quality bathroom with a big shower rose. Plus plenty of charging points around for all your devices. We are a trio not accustomed to frosty mornings, and we did find the lounge harder to maintain heat than in our own home, but there are two good heaters there. Just bring your fleeces and wheat bags! We were quite snug in the bedrooms as there is so much bedding provided. We've stayed in many pet-friendly places and this one is the best.

Very comfortable home away from home.

We were very pleased with our stay. In particular homely comforts included the heating being on for us when we arrived, a very comfortable bed (with lovely soft linen and plenty of blankets to keep warm), as well as a roomy bathroom and kitchen. Further details of note for those looking to stay: - The driveway is steep (concreted on the way up, and then loops to the right via gravel/ dirt path on way down), however I managed fine in a Honda Jazz. - Plenty of pillows/ blankets/ nice towels (we had brought our own but this was not needed). - The mattress in the main room is comfortably firm, even though we prefer softer beds (one of the fleece blankets could easily be used as a topper if preferred).

School friends reunion

The house suited us very well despite the steep driveway. ( we are all over 70). We found the split system heaters slow to respond and it is a cold house. Beds were excellent and warm. Suggest pruning the prickly cactus which extends over the hand rail. It was a beaut place and located for us.

We stayed here for a weekend and found it very comfortable clean and warm. It is very close to Castlemaine town centre so you can walk to restaurants, the art gallery and cafes. Also close to Goldfields track. Would definitely stay again
