Pet friendly family home with great views.

Andrew Views is an elevated property which offers spectacular views over the Castlemaine township. It is a 3 bedroom home located near the heart of Castlemaine, only 3 blocks from the central CBD.
Sleeps up to 6 people in 2 queen beds, and 1 set of bunks. Has all modern conveniences, including R/C air conditioning, dishwasher, full laundry and full kitchen including oven & cook-top. Open plan living area. Modern bathroom has shower over bath.
Secure pet yard to side of house, with access to house from front veranda. Well behaved pets are also allowed inside.
Outdoor entertaining on front verandah, also on rear verandah, with electric BBQ.

Please note that the price is based on 1 couple using 1 bed, in the event that more beds are required please notify upon booking as additional charges apply. Additional beds may not be made on arrival without forward notice.

Great little home to retreat to after a big day exploring. The kids bunkbed was a challenge to sleep on for me, but everyone else enjoyed their queen beds. Well maintained, easy to stroll into town.

Wonderful, spacious and central place to stay. Really enjoyed our Castlemaine getaway. Great facilities, well maintained and no shortage of power outlets! No wifi, but no problem, great mobile reception anyway. Or do a digital detox if you want!

My son was on work experience locally so had to book a place I could bring the dogs The house is in a great location and had everything you need plus a few extras Great secure yard and balcony for the dogs And - the best mattress I’ve ever slept on I think!We would definitely recommend and would stay here again

Fabulous 3 day stay

Spacious house with great views of Castlemaine from the balcony. Great kitchen and large bedrooms. Met Ruth our host on the first night, she was very accomadating to our needs. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The whole interaction was just so easy! The house is in a fabulous location and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Will definitively stay again if we are ever back in Castlemaine.

Good location

We had a comfortable stay and the beds were very comfortable in the cold weather. Only issue was the shower in the bath. We’re are older people and had trouble getting in and out of the bath for a shower. The house was really well at up with everything we needed.

Very comfortable home away from home.

We were very pleased with our stay. In particular homely comforts included the heating being on for us when we arrived, a very comfortable bed (with lovely soft linen and plenty of blankets to keep warm), as well as a roomy bathroom and kitchen. Further details of note for those looking to stay: - The driveway is steep (concreted on the way up, and then loops to the right via gravel/ dirt path on way down), however I managed fine in a Honda Jazz. - Plenty of pillows/ blankets/ nice towels (we had brought our own but this was not needed). - The mattress in the main room is comfortably firm, even though we prefer softer beds (one of the fleece blankets could easily be used as a topper if preferred).

Excellent location. Super clean and had everything you would need. Feel it may be an idea due to the very steep drive and the steps up to the house, also the shower over the bath, it perhaps be advertised as not suitable for people with a disability. The 3 of us are pretty fit mid 70’s but could see how it would be difficult for less fit and able persons to get themselves, baggage and food up to the house. The enclosed dog area was excellent. Apart from that all good. Lyn, Ian and Gwyn and Rosie dog.

Beware!Access - very steep unsafe driveway and dangerous stairs. Owner locks rooms and charges 25 per night to unlock rooms. Advertises fireplace but there is only a fake electric heater that doesn't work. The electricity was out the 2nd day of our stay owner knew this weeks before and did not advise us. Bath has very high dangerous step into shower. Kitchen. We stayed for a week and only had two towels. The kitchen had bare minimum equipment and lots of locked cupboards. Reviews are fake. Worst stay ever had will not be using Stayz again

The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the 'free' goodies on top of the microwave oven were a pleasant surprise.BUT, this is not a house for a group in their 70s and 80s. It's on a VERY steep block, there are stairs to be negotiated, the shower is over a very deep bath so it's difficult to climb into it, the so-called single beds are a double bunk and the toilet is in the bathroom, and was malfunctioning by the time we left this morning.Castlemaine is an interesting town and we plan to return, but we'll have to find somewhere else to stay.
