Have you ever dreamed of living in a log cabin house in the mountains? Well this is your chance!

Located in Katoomba on a quarter acre of native bushland, Scribble Gum Cottage provides an ideal getaway for couples and families in the Blue Mountains. This self contained and comfortable cottage provides the perfect mix of proximity and privacy. Whilst only 3 kms from the Katoomba mainstreet, the cottage is close to shops and scenic attractions, yet when you look out on the scribble gums you feel as though you are deep in the heart of the bush.

Nestled amongst the Scribble Gums, this log cabin style cottage has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has one double bed with bush canopy views. The second bedroom is equipped with single bunkbeds. The lounge has a cosy atmosphere with woodfire heating and the adjoining kitchen is equipped with all the amenities to make a great meal. A window lined sunroom completes the cottage and provides a comfortable area to enjoy a morning cup of tea whilst looking out at the bushland and native birds.

Prices based on two adults (one couple).
Minimum stay - 2 nights.

Linen and towels provided.
Firewood provided, also split system with heating and air conditioning

Firewood is supplied for the combustion fireplace.

Port-a-cot available on request.

Lovely weekend escape

We loved our short stay here. The cabin was impeccable and had everything you could want for a weekend away - books, games, a very well-equipped kitchen, and a fabulous fireplace with all the necessary bits to make the perfect warming fire. The cabin was clean, welcoming and exceptionally comfortable. We also loved the visitor’s guide! Thank you 💕

Cosy mountain getaway

My partner and I loved the experience, warmed by the fireplace in this cold and rainy weather. Definitely recommend. A private and secluded stay not far from the town centre.

Charming cottage central to everything

We were delighted with Scribble Gum Cottage - all advertised features were there and cottage was very well appointed, comfortable and spotless. Would have appreciated a folder of local attractions and restaurants.
