Perfect family or couple getaway. Wheelchair accessible inside and out.

The best of the sea and scrub is just 40 minutes south of the Adelaide CBD. Enjoy the serenity away from the rush. Close to beach, but away from the hustle and bustle of The Esplanade. Car access is possible right on to the beach and there is a 'car free' area provided for extra safety.
The house is pleasant, comfortable, fully furnished and equipped with heating, air conditioning and barbeque for year round holidays. The décor includes some inviting personal touches. Swim, surf, picnic, fish, fly a kite, dive, snorkel or sail at the beach. Kitchen is newly renovated and fully equipped, living area is comfortable, outdoor area invites you to sit and enjoy.There are two newly modernised bathrooms.
Leave the world behind, have a relaxing holiday. Great for family getaways or a private holiday on your own. Perfectly set up for for quilting, photography, craft or study group, weekend retreats for up to 6 people.
There is a ramp for wheel chair access and 'wheel in' bathrooms.

Only minutes away from the attractions of the beautiful Fleurie Peninsula. Enjoy the sea and the scrub or take a rewarding day trip to Victor Harbor or Kangaroo Island. Walk in the Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park or venture further to enjoy the trails of Deep Creek Conservation Park.

Absolutely fantastic value for money. Beds were comfy had everything we needed and more! I had a lady with me that had mobility issues etc and needed a shower chair that was mentioned 2 hours later one was delivered to us you cant get better than that! Owners were beautiful people. Fantastic Stay

I have just stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter, we love it. The house has everything you need, it is very well set up and such a peaceful spot. Had a fantastic time walking to the beach every day and also doing walks in the Conservation Park. Enjoyed watching birds from the verandah. I have stayed here 3 times now

This place was perfect! Nestled among nature, close to the fabulous beach, quiet and peaceful. It had everything we needed to make for a cosy weekend away. Thanks to the hosts for prompt communication. They even left the light on for us when we were coming in late. Couldn't recommend more!

Summer escape

I love this property, have been coming here for years. It's a very peaceful location and I love being able to walk to the beach or Conservation Park. Property has a cute cottage feel and has a nice design. Very roomy for the two of us. Nice and light and good for bird watching from the lounge. Owners are lovely too.

Super Relaxing

Close to nature, wines and tours, yet the house was quiet, and super relaxing. It has everything you need in a house, and although there was just the three of us there, the layout of the house, gave it a cosiness that other places don't provide. The hosts were very accommodating and attended to our needs promptly when requested - I would definitely stay there again.

Clean with a Retro feel of Deco. Hosts added there own personal touches, including welcoming homemade treats. Family'-family facilities which could be acommodating and affordable to big or small families. Our kids enjoyed playing Uno and connect 4 provided. Quiet Stay

My daughter and I enjoyed a quiet, comfortable stay at the property which was a short stroll to the beach. The listing here does state 2 queen beds and there was only one, with singles in the other two rooms, which thankfully wasn’t an issue for us, but worth being aware of. The owners do live on the back adjoining property so are very available if any issues arise.

Weather not on our side as it was way too hot. maintenance required for fan and aircon in kitchen as the gas is a bit low on aircon. the portable unit messed water every where. it was a lovely little home, with tranquil surrounds, just enough to remove you from the hustle and bustle from the city life. Aldinga Getaway

It's a cute little place and very quiet neighborhood. I like the native trees surrounding the house and it's very pleasant sitting on the balcony. Quite roomy for the two of us. We really enjoyed our stay thank you. Fruit and slice left for us was a nice touch. Would stay here again. Did a few walks in the Conservation Park which was very enjoyable too.

We have lived in this area for 35 years and wouldn't live anywhere else! Jan migrated to Australia from the USA in 1972, David is a 'Barossa Valley boy'! We are both retired from school principal-ship. David now makes beautiful furniture while Jan makes beautiful quilts, writes books about her family, grows vegetables and is an avid cook.We both ride bikes and enjoy travelling abroad and with our caravan in Australia. We are active seniors and love hosting our guests. We live life to the full and feel priviliged to be able to offer Casuarina Cottage to those who choose to holiday here.

Having lived in this area, we bought Casuarina Cottage so that others can enjoy a holiday in this unique area. We travel each year and often use short term rental houses. We have used these experiences to make Casuarina Cottage just the place where we would like to holiday. It is equipped for beauty, peace and comfort.

What makes this property unique

Casuarina Cottage is a peaceful haven. It has the benefits of being situated close to Silver Sands Beach as well as offering private on a block full of native trees. In The Aldinga Scrub Conservation area there are many tracks to walk. Kangaroos abound. At The Cottage the deck runs the full length of the house and is perfect for outside lounging, dining and for children to play. Two living areas and two bathrooms make it perfect for family groups. Or have the whole places to yourselves as a couple. Once you've experienced life at Casuarina Cottage, you will want to return!
