From the generous deck of this 3 bedroom cottage you can gaze out onto the lagoon at the bottom of the garden, listen to the waves breaking on the nearby beach, or step down to the water-side deck. You can read, watch the native ducks swim past, ponder meandering fish, or just drift off.
The Cottage is a renovated traditional Australian beach retreat with all new appliances, a bushland setting and close to the beautiful Rosedale sands.
Note however that the lagoon is not fenced from the backyard and small children need to be supervised at all times.
Located in Rosedale Parade the Cottage is quiet and sleeps 6 adults and additional children (up to 2) may sleep on the sofa bed in the lounge room.
We are pet friendly with a dog house supplied. We reiterate that the back garden is fenced from the street but not from the lagoon.
It's just a 2-minute level stroll to stunning South Rosedale beach. Great for a swim, a lazy read on the beach, or a bit of beach or rock fishing. Kayaking is possible on the Tomaga River at Mossy Point a few kilometres south.
The main bedroom has a queen bed, the front bedroom has a double, and the middle bedroom has two single beds. There is a sofa in the lounge suitable for a child or two younger children. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the house includes a dishwasher, Miele washer/dryer, NBN fibre to the house and a new TV.

My family and I have stayed here several times and always thoroughly enjoy our stay. The place is lovely and we've never had any problems. It is close to the beach (2 min walk) and we always have plenty of peace and quiet. The river outback really gives the place such a beautiful vibe. Will happily return again!
The house was so cozy and relaxing and it had everything we needed. The outdoor area was peaceful and a beautiful place for outdoor meals, board games and lounging in the sunlight. The beach was just a 2 minute stroll down the road, with quick and easy access to near by shops and restaurants. Alan, the owner, was so helpful and accommodating. Already planning my next visit!!
We really enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. Host gave us lots of useful information & everything was well stocked.Lovely, peaceful location very close to a dog beach; so our dog had a good time also.
A very welcoming host and a lovely cottage by the river. A short stroll to the beach, followed by a quiet drink on the deck on return, all made for a very relaxing holiday.
This is a lovely cottage close to the beach in a quiet bush setting, only a short drive from Batemans Bay and Moruya. The host is welcoming and easy to communicate with and the house contains every thing needed for a pleasant stay.
We enjoyed our stay here. Nice proximity to the beach and the property itself was well furnished. The owner was very responsive and accommodated our small requests, which was very much appreciated!
We loved our stay, beautiful setting and only a few door down from the beach!

Liked: Communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in
Slight hiccup in getting in. My sister and I broke a number of fingernails trying to get the lockbox open. Extra instructions needed.Funky cottage in a nice situation backing on to a creek. 200m to the beach.Musty smell to the premises which returned whenever the place was locked up. Good beds but the seats and some other items werent great. Kitchen well equipped. Cleanliness not good, lots of dust bunnies about, and to touch some things was not pleasant. My sister was unconfortable and critical, I myself would give it a pass (just).
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a great location with lots of good walks and very close to the beach. Good kitchen amenities and very comfortable. Would recommend!
Close to beach, nice and quiet, well stocked with necessary items. Excellent place to chill out. Will certainly return.

Why they chose this property
It's a small hamlet, very quiet with a great beach. The Cottage has a great atmosphere and is a perfect treat. Snorkelling is next door at Guerrilla Bay and kayaking is down at Mossy Beach. The kids love Mogo zoo.
