Moggs Creek Beach House

Situated only 300m to the magnificent Moggs Creek Beach and directly opposite the Moggs Creek Nature Reserve you have the best of the beach and bush at your doorstep.

Set on a large treed block, the surf can be heard day and night as you sit back on the covered deck. If you are lucky you will spot our regular visitors- kangaroos and echidnas.

Recently renovated and furnished, the house features 3 bedrooms - 2 queen beds and 2 x bunk beds. A split system keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter. The living area opens to up to a large covered deck where you can enjoy a BBQ and a few drinks. The house also features FOXTEL (sports package) and Unlimited WIFI.

Perfect location

Beautiful house tucked away amongst the tress. So close to the beach & great walking trails! Easy access to the Great Ocean Road. Really enjoyed our stay & will book again!

Enjoyable winter getaway

Loved our time here. Very comfortable little home (especially the beds). Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was a real treat. The outside firepit was exciting for the kids. Lots of areas to explore that kept them occupied. Close to the beach and walking tracks. Easy drive to near by towns of Lorne and Airey's Inlet. So relaxing.

The Beach House at Moggs was perfect. Clean, comfortable and with everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very attentive. When a watch and act was declared for the area during the Otway fires in Jan 25, they stayed in touch and offered us alternate accommodation if it was required. The location is also perfect with easy access to the beach and walks in the bush.

House was very comfortable and spacious enough with 3 kids. Nice new bbq and heaps of indoor and outdoor dining space. Could indeed hear the beach from the otherwise peaceful setting by the creek. Dino and Janine were super hosts, checking in on us after the storm, and moved mountains to get the internet back on. Beds comfy, and enough bathroom space to do the job with a shower and bath. Only call out would be phone reception is limited at the house but that is a positive for anyone looking to disconnect a bit. Would definitely book again

Lovely Coastal Family Holiday.

Dino and Janine as hosts were fantastic communicators and made sure our stay was all the things we needed. Comfortable, relaxing and for that we are so grateful. The home is a simple, spacious family home. The fire a treasure. A great verandah for catching some sunshine and for the kids to play. A great location for kids and family that love the beach and ocean. The owners and hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us. We will most definitely stay again as this home was great value and set up well for our children.

Quiet and relaxing

Lovely accomodation within a very short stroll to the beach. Would be perfect with a dishwasher and more wine glasses as there were only 2 available! Will definitely be back.

Relaxing and quiet place

A very cosy relaxing property nestled in nice bushy block. 5mins walk to the beach and 15mins walk to Moggs creek pinic area where we began some trail walking. Quick drive to Angelsea and AIreys Inlet we also visited Lorne and Wye River.

Winter getaway

We had a 2 night stay at this property and really enjoyed most of it. Out only issue was that the house was very cold (in fairness, it was the middle of winter . .) and the only heating in the living areas was a fireplace. Not everything to light the fire was supplied so we had to purchase newspaper and kindling to get it going. Heaters supplied in the bedrooms though which were amazing! Loved the area and would stay again (during summer!)

Nice spot for a break

We had a very nice weekend with friends, the house is well located near the creek and reserve, good short walks nearby, the beach and other tracks not far away. The house was warm and comfortable with everything we needed. Good choice

Wonderful Family Stay

The house was perfect, plenty of room and comfy beds. We visited over a weekend with mixed weather but the kids were entertained with all of the games and we warmed ourselves with the open fire. Loved being able to walk to the magnificent beach and up into the mountains. Great location, value and relaxing space.

Great beach area place

The beach house is about 300m from the beach and it is amazing to hear the sound of the surf at night from the patio. This is a lovely place with the bare essentials for a break, good rooms, great mattresses, kitchen facilities. There is plenty of room and we relaxed on a break there.
