Moetapu Bay

Overall very nice property it is a bit remote from Picton. Beautiful views across the bay. If a nice quiet and relaxing time is what you are looking for thi property fits the bill.

Wonderful space, had all things necessary for a successful stay, incredible location, sparkling clean spa pool, comfy bed, very private and secluded, excellent wifi, great host with good communications from her representatives in the area. Lovely welcome by the local greeter :)

Dirty overall and pictures not accurate

The place was dirty. Marks from spills on the wall, dust on counter tops in bedrooms, cobwebs in corners etc etc. the bath towels were lovely but very disappointed with the standard of cleaning. We have taken photos and think it reasonable to ask for a refund of the cleaning fee as it clearly needed doing before our arrival. Will await your response. Thanks

I'm so sorry about this. I would have appreciated it if you had telephoned me and I would have sorted this out immediately. I pay a cleaner good money to ensure that the cleanliness of the property is of a high standard. I'm unsure what you are referring to in regards the photos not being accurate. The only thing I can think of is the duvet covers are new. As I live off site, it is difficult to resolve your issues after you have left the accommodation and it is disappointing that you've chosen to air this in a public review. As you can see from other reviews this is not normal. Once again I am sorry for your experience.

Extremely relaxing

We had just completed the Queen Charlotte track and were looking for somewhere to relax and unwind. The place was perfect. Short walk to the beach, spa pool on the deck and lovely views. Kitchen was very well equipped and beds were comfortable. Superb!

A hidden gem

This property is fabolous. Bear in mind you'll be staying at the ground floor. Very well appointed, rooms are huge and comfy, kitchen is modern with all the must-have and more, the view from the top deck is a dream. Perks are out of this world: wi-fi, Sky Sports, heat pump, dishwasher, access to the upstairs spa-pool (oh good, how cool that spa is!). We had a little issue with the hot water on the first day, and Yvonne sent someone very quickly to solve it - we were let to stay an extra day free of charge, which was much appreciated. The beach is 1' away afoot. Kids loved it, we took our own kayak and had a blast. We will come back one day. Thanks Yvonne!

This property has a great location . There are 2 separate units. The deck upstairs has good outdoor space.The spa pool was a great addition.We were lucky we had it all to ourselves.

Good base to explore

The lower unit has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. They kitchen is well equiped, there is a bookshelf full of books & games, the couches are comfy, and there is a washing machine and dryer. The location is easy to access, with the beach across the road. We had a lovely stay. Thank you :)
