The Space:
The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area seamlessly flows onto a fantastic deck, offering breathtaking lake views of Lake Rotorua and Mokioa Island. The living room features a cozy wood burner fireplace, perfect for cooler evenings. Enjoy the beautiful garden from the deck. The master bedroom boasts a super king bed, a walk-through wardrobe, and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom two features a queen bed, while bedroom three provides flexibility with two single beds.

Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house, including the three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas. The property features a private entrance for your convenience. Enjoy the privacy of the securely fenced garden and yard, perfect for relaxing during your stay in Ngongotahā and exploring the Rotorua region.

The Neighborhood:
Discover the tranquility of our Ngongotaha haven, nestled on a peaceful, no-exit street. Enjoy beautiful lake views from the property, though direct lake access isn't available due to private land. For lake access, a short walk to Ranginui Street is recommended. Anglers will be delighted to know that Ranginui Street is home to productive trout fishing at the river mouth—don't forget your fishing rod! Just 2.5km away, Ngongotaha Village offers a convenient array of amenities including cafes, bakeries, a small supermarket, and essential services such as a doctor's surgery, pharmacy, and mechanic.

Getting Around:
Getting around is easiest with your own transport, and there is plenty of parking on site and on the street. The nearest bus stop is a short 300-meter walk away on Ranginui Street, but taxis can be expensive. Our address is 71 Ngatai Avenue, Ngongotahā, Rotorua 3010, New Zealand. Consider having your own transport for ease of access to Rotorua's attractions.

Other Things to Note:
There is no lake access from this property. To get direct access to the lake, we recommend you walk around to Ranginui Street, just around the corner.

Lovely stay at Lake View Inn

We really enjoyed our stay, the property was very clean and very nicely presented. It had everything we needed and the location was lovely and peaceful, and only a short drive to the nearest shops and approx 10 mins to Rotorua. The check in process was very easy and communication was nice and clear. If you have young kids be sure to take some games or puzzles with you, as there isn’t anything like that in the house.

Couldn't fault the property which was so peaceful. Couldn't get into the lock box which evidently is not the first time but it was sorted quite quickly which I appreciated. Loved the fire and lucky to have two beautiful clear sunny days which enhanced the stunning views.

We enjoyed our stay, property was very nice. Beautiful breeze through the house. Kitchen well equipped, might have been nice with a coffee maker(like Nespresso maker). The property foes not allow area along water front to walk dogs, however the property was great for the small dogs and they could not get out. I would recommend that the owners think of having a couple of water related things for kids. Eg: kayaking Very close-to the luge and other amenities.overall great stay.

Ngongotaha Weekend

The property was wonderful for a large family holiday. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. Room for 6 adults and the fact we could take our two puppies along was a drawcard, with the dogs enjoying the large outdoor space. The site is slightly out of Rotorua but only a few minutes drive to all the joys of the city. We would definitely return to this accommodation.

The accomodation is beautiful, nice and open with a beautiful view of the lake. Close to most whānau activities like Rotorua Canopy, Luge, Mini Putt only 5 mins away. Awesome retreat by the lake for whānau/family
